as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

No I’ve never temped. Do you need a special thermometer? I’ve got a digital one...

You need a Body Basal Thermometer. Maybe google it?

My AF isn’t due yet but like with my first pregnancy I was experiencing horrid nausea and sore boobs so bad my suspicions. Told my DH earlier this week and I was going to wait until my birthday tomorrow to test but I couldn’t wait!

This was only our first month of ‘not not trying’ so bit of a surprise! A happy one though.

I’m going to ask for an early scan as I’ve had 2 previous miscarriages, but there’s still a chance of miscarrying between an early one and my 12 week scan... what do you ladies recommend doing? Should I just wait till my 12 week scan? Last miscarriage I had was a mmc 🙁

I would probably go for an early scan just because it's such a long wait till 12 weeks. We're also getting harmony done at 10 weeks this time.

I’m aiming for an early scan, as I don’t think I can wait till 12wks.

Will probably aim for a 8wks scan if I can. Last time I went for a 6wk scan and was sent away to come back in two weeks as they couldn’t detect anything in the sac. At 8wks we got a heartbeat and then lost it at 12wks.

Want the reassurance that things are progressing at 8wks, but won’t relax until post 12wks stage - if then!?!

Honestly the tiredness that hits me around 8:30pm is like someone has shot me with a tranquilliser dart. I sleep for about three hours on sofa and then DH wakes me up and then I have about 15 minute window where I crawl upstairs and clean my teeth before I become unconscious till about 4 in the morning!

Morning! How's everyone doing? I survived my theme park day without going on any rides... Missed out though, love rides but too conscious 😁 @18mnthsandcounting*@PineapplePrincess I'm going for an early scan too. I had a mmc at 11 weeks last year and have had a chemical before. So I'm going to early unit at about 7 weeks to check. If not I'll book a private scan. Found out about mmc at 7 weeks with a private scan last time but had to wait till 11 weeks to have op. @lgh05* I'm feeling tired but not exhausted. The other night I felt super nauseous and even woke up in the night feeling bleurgh but I didn't throw up. I've been feeling really hot 🔥 recently too and am wide awake at 6am (So not me...) Had a few stomach twinges and wind...😳 worried lack of sleep isn't great.... Think my mind can't settle down. Still haven't told DH!!! Eek it's my birthday on Monday..I may tell him then. Af was due 29th... So I'd be 1 day late if I tell him on my birthday. He was a bit less excited when I told him before I was due on last time (then went on n to have mmc) I'm rambling now. Hope everyone is well xx

@Hulaballoo yes I have been very hot too which is totally against who I am! I am always freezing!

I resisted testing this morning! Feel like I won a little victory! AF due tomorrow so will test in the morning- although I only have digital test left now (Superdrug) which concerns me but hey! I will see how it goes in the morning. Still having this stitch like pulling sensation on my right side bottom abdomen but I wonder if it's because my body has already stretched so it's just making room- who knows.

Morning ladies! I tested with cb digi at 3am (woke up needing a wee and thought no way I could hang on till 7!) - so that was a tense few mins in the middle of the night!!

Thankfully it came up 2-3 weeks...all previous 3 have been 1-2 (including day before yesterday) but then I realised I should only be doing it first thing and not in the evening after gallons of water lol! It’s been super worrying me so I feel I can breathe
A sign of relief - for now anyway!!! It’s a rollercoaster isn’t it?! Doesn’t get easier with age! I had my first at 22, second at 35 and now this one I will be 42! I also had a mmc before my first... I just know how sick I get so I am willing the sysmptons for peace of mind but also dreading them at the same time!!!

@lgh05 the tiredness you’re describing sounds exactly like mine! However I go to bed around 9 because I can’t stand falling asleep on the sofa, the shock that goes through your body when you realise you have to go upstairs and clean your teeth is not for me. Lol

@Becparks that’s so reassuring!! I’m tempted to get another digital one, two days ago it shows 1-2.

Honestly ladies I had the worst night. I woke up at 3:30 and subconsciously took my temp without realising the time. It had dropped so much! It was way too early I usually temp around 6:30 but I panicked. I thought I felt my period coming. I got up, took a cheapie and my last FRER. Line still there but not as strong as yesterday evening (on the FRER that is) However my lines seem to be stronger when I test PM. So weird. Saved my FMU (the one from around 7ish) and even took it to work to test as soon as the new FRERs arrive... Can you just go to your GP and ‘demand’ a beta hcg blood test? What’s your experience? Thank you.

@lgh05 I was getting stretchy pulling tummy type pains last night... Think it's normal? I was up at 6 needing a wee @Becparks and tried to will myself to stay in bed because otherwise I'd have to get up and test... So I managed until 6:45 and of course no extra sleep.. Everyone was asleep and I didn't want to wake dh.. Did a wee in a cup and my ic were in my noisy drawer so I just waited until everyone was up and secretly tested again... Got a positive on an ic ...I think darker than yesterday's. Cb digital not arrived. But as I ovulated on day 10 of a 30-34 day cycle and treated positive on 13dpo I feel like this is a 100 week wait.... Argh. I'm not really sure when id be 4 weeks?

So Cb digital arrives soon... But too nervous to use it... When's there best time... After af due?

@Peanutty86 not sure about requesting from gp, if previous miscarriages history then possibly. Mine didn't even want to investigate fertility with me and I'm easy over 35 and miscarriages history.... Depends on how nice your gp is I think. As you took your temp and treated at different times, it may just be a result of that? Xx

@Hulaballoo Yes I guess it’s the different time that shocked me. It went back to when I took it later, after another couple of hours sleep. Will take it again tomorrow and then probably stop. It drives me insane.

Thanks ladies think I will request early scan it’s scary to see how many of us have had mmc, I heard it’s supposes to be quite rare??

I also had a stitch down right hand side last night but this is my first so don’t really know what to expect symptom wise x

Hullabaloo (it sure how to tag!) you can do before af is due but for accuracy with the weeks you need to do with first morning wee and not have drunk anything

The way I see it what’s meant to be will be. The reality is 1 in 4 mc (whether mmc or cp it what) early days (and more like 1 in 2 my age I think!), so it’s just nature’s way. It’s so hard to go through though. I’m going to try and relax now and be positive (I know it’s easy to say having just seen the 2-3 this morning) - I just know whatever happens I will manage it! After I get to 12 weeks next thing will be deciding if I want tests and stuff! Eeek

That’s very true I’ve tried telling my partner that but he doesn’t want to talk about pregnancy in case it happens again, I keep telling him this is a different baby but he won’t listen. I suppose he’s scared of being hurt again.
