Hi ladies,

as I know there have been several early birds who had a BFP with due date in July, I thought I’d set up a thread here.

Age: 31 (in a week 😫)
Baby: #1
TTC: 1.5 cycles
BFP: 10dpo on 22.10.17
Due date according to OV: 04.07.2018

@Somethininthewater yeah had a few faint positives on frer

Becparks · 26/10/2017 22:25

Sorry to be dumb but what’s frer? First response ???

PineapplePrincess · 26/10/2017 22:26

@somethinginthewater - pmsl 😂, same thing happened to me!

Only I had bought the test, went to the loos to use it (through the security scanner, which decided not to go off at this point). Peed on the stick and didn’t wait for the answer; was rushing to a meeting so figured I’d let the test work and check before I arrived at work.

Proceeded to head back out the door, and you guessed it security scanner went off.

My only thought was finding out If Icwas/wasn’t pregnant via the security person pulling it out of my bag and announcing it to the world. Thankfully I kept my head down and rushed to my car, and wasn’t pursued by anyone in the store.

Never been back to the store since. And have never done a pregnancy test in a supermarket toilet again!?!

lgh05 · 26/10/2017 23:02

@Becparks yeah first response early result I think it's short for, I've only just started getting used to all the chat slang.

Hulaballoo · 26/10/2017 23:10

@PineapplePrincess 😂😂😂soooooooooo funny!! Love it!
@Becparks yes frer is first response early result test 👍 @Winterfellismyhome ...If your job isn't too dangerous, I personally would wait a while... If you can get away with just needing to say you have an appointment that you can't miss with a consultant or something, I'd do that... Depends how supportive your company is ...
@Somethininthewater
@lgh05
I will be poas in the morning... Again 😳 boobs achier today (.) (.)

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 07:04

Pineapple that’s hilarious!!! I’ve done tests in supermarket loos before too!
I’m lying in bed, busting for a wee... too scared to test! Don’t want it to be negative but got a feeling it will be 😔

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 07:13

I've just tested and had a feeling it would be negative. So with a Superdrug digital test I got a BFN. But still no AF and still holding on to my previous faint positives. Going to and buy some FRER to see if the line has got any darker as the digitals you can't see any progression.

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 07:28

Looks like a bfn here too. Got one left that I’ll use tomorrow.

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 07:28

How many dpo are you?

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 07:36

@Somethininthewater is that a FRER you have been using?

@lgh05 you’re only due today right? Use a FRER, my ICs only show a faint line and I was due Wednesday. However got a pregnant 1-2 with afternoon urine after 4 hrs hold on Tuesday.

I’m not testing anymore and today is the first day since April that I’ve knowingly not taken my temp. I need to relax. Very proud of myself!

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 07:51

Yes it’s a frer. I’m 12dpo today

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 08:35

Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 08:42

@Peanutty86 yeah due today, so going to take a FRER DH just gone out now to buy one. So it will be interesting to see if there is any line progression. All being well with this pregnancy I am pretty convinced it's a Boy, with my daughter I tested on a CB digital 2 days before AF and results were there is in seconds. I was reading last night there is evidence that fewer hormones detected in early pregnancy are usually male. (We keep gender as a surprise so it's just a daft thought)

Can you tell I've been reading anything and everything keeping hope!

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 08:42

Getting a bit fed up now 😢

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 08:46

@Somethininthewater I know exactly how you feel!

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 08:47

@Somethininthewater what did you test with and when is AF due?

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 08:47

@lgh05 I think I’m having a boy too. Husband says it’s a girl. We had sex so close to ovulation and I’ve read that male sperm are faster. If it’s a girl it might be from sex we had 4 days before... I think I’m just thinking boy because I’d love one. But hey, Who cares... most importantly I want a health little baby.

Feeling a little nauseas after my coffee this morning....

OP posts:
lgh05 · 27/10/2017 08:48

Sorry just seen you tested with FRER

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 08:50

I just feel pregnant, j was obviously disappointed this morning but with these twinges and pulls and then now showing any sign of AF along with faint positives it's just all messing with my head.

Yeah I would defo put money on a boy for us!

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 08:50

@Somethininthewater maybe try a pm wee? My lines are stronger in the evenings for some reason. (After holding 4 hours and not drinking...)

OP posts:
Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 09:00

Igh I need to step away from google!!

Somethininthewater · 27/10/2017 09:02

Hmm might try that... got some IC arriving tomorrow so I’m going to go to town in them!! Reluctant to waste a frer. It’s like pissing on a £10 note if it’s bfn!!

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 09:07

Haha!! It is like pissing on a £10 note!

lgh05 · 27/10/2017 09:08

@Peanutty86 I am not sure what to do I've saved my second wee of the morning in a cup, but when DH comes back with test wondering whether to use that or pm wee!

Peanutty86 · 27/10/2017 09:20

😂 it’s like pissing on a tenner anyway!

Seriously though you won’t get a good positive on a IC before you get it on a FRER.

Amazon do 4 x FRER for £15.49 including two ICs, so is only half as bad. My delivery guy and I are on first name terms now 😂
