DD is full of a cold and can't breathe through her nose properly at night, I've got the saline spray but she hates it and screams, put some snuffle babe on her chest hoping it helps

pumpkinbump · 12/02/2018 22:31

Me too. Due July 7th but to be confirmed.

ew1990 · 13/02/2018 00:45

@MSH2010 you and the twins ok? X

lovelystar · 13/02/2018 00:50

I'm being induced on Sunday, a week early and I'm terrified. I feel like there is so much I don't know Sad so excited to meet my little boy though Grin

ew1990 · 13/02/2018 00:58

@lovelystar I was induced a week early - everything was fine, just an overnight stay to make sure breastfeeding was fine. You'll be fine 😊

MSH2010 · 13/02/2018 06:00

Hey, thanks for thinking about us @ew1990 we're all good thanks. They'll be 6 months old on Thursday 😔 times flying. Weaning is so confusing and trying to work out how / when I can go back to work is even worse 😢
Hope everyone is well. Sorry I had to delete the ad as too many baby photos were taking over my phone memory so don't come on here as often as I should 😏

ew1990 · 13/02/2018 13:43

Wow 6 months!! Glad youse are well, I know what you mean about the photos x

Having a rough night here tonight. DD up every 2 hours. She is 15 weeks now, not sure if it's the regression coming early but I'm not enjoying things right now. Her sleep was good but is now so up and down, some nights she's just a complete nightmare. She is a nightmare during the day as well, never naps longer than 25-30 minutes so is permanently overtired. I get so jealous of DH getting to go work and get away from this which I know is awful 😞

lydiangel83 · 23/02/2018 08:55

@NC1990 feel for you and know what that's like. We are up about every 3 hrs at 16 wks and get little respite during the day due to bad reflux :-/ xx

@lydiangel83 it's rubbish isn't it! Although, she has woken up smiling and giggling this morning and I can't help but forgive her Grin she's not so bad really but the sleep deprivation is a killer 😩 it would help if her naps were a bit longer and I could do a bit of housework and then relax, I get no time for that just now.

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2018 12:15

@NC1990 I know how you're feeling. Husbands get an escape. Ok they are working but they eat and pee when they want and aren't always tied down by a screaming monster!

lydiangel83 · 23/02/2018 13:02

@NC1990 I'm the same only get brief moments during the day to wee and eat!! Then I can't sleep at night worrying about all the things I need to do!!

@mrsjkerry I told my DH I was jealous of his commute the other day (I used to do same journey). Then we were stranded in London with baby for 5 hrs and I regretted saying it but my point was he can pee and eat when he wants and have a nice warm coffee

Yep he's gone out for a nice lunch today. I've grabbed a slice of toast and ate it with Baby in my lap!! He gets an hour to himself when he drives to work. I would love that!!!

grammargirl · 23/02/2018 18:59

Hey everyone, can I join? Had DS in November and didn't know this group existed!

Just wondering if you could share your experiences of the second vaccines? DS had a terrible reaction to the first lot: temperature of 39 for nearly 48 hours and really wasn't 'himself' for a week afterwards. Second lot in a few days and I'm slightly terrified... even though I know it doesn't include the Men B vac.

ew1990 · 23/02/2018 19:56

@grammargirl welcome! DD was so cranky after her first lot and had the temp, she was fine with the second lot it's only one injection and she only cried for a second, I'm dreading the 3rd lots it's 3 needles again with the men b I think

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2018 21:12

Hi @grammargirl similar to @ew1990. The first ones I'm not even sure my baby has been the same since. Very upset and cranky. I'm sure the injections worsened/caused the reflux as it only came on after.

She was fine with the 12 week ones. I am dreading the 16 week ones 😬

grammargirl · 23/02/2018 21:18

Thanks both! Ah yes @mrsjkerry...we've had reflux ever since too. He's also been losing an entire feed every 2 or 3 days - literally mouthfuls and mouthfuls of milk. I'm having my carpet cleaned due to one of these little episodes.

grammargirl · 23/02/2018 21:19

Have we heard any 16 week success stories after bad 8 week jabs?

lydiangel83 · 23/02/2018 21:26

@mrsjkerry @grammargirl I'd not linked reflux to injections before! We started omeprazol today the max dose of reflux medicine :(

ew1990 · 23/02/2018 21:28

Our 16 week ones are a week on Monday so I'll let you know, I hate the cry they do when they have them it's heartbreaking.

@lydiangel83 has your LO had 16 week ones yet?

lydiangel83 · 23/02/2018 21:29

@ew1990 no they are week after next. Good luck for yours let us know how they go xx

OP posts:
mrsjkerry · 23/02/2018 21:30

@lydiangel83 let me know how you get on with that. My baby seems a little better. I've been in the hospital at least once a week the last month because she's refused to eat. Today she's taken four full bottles. I don't know why, we are now on the highest dose of ranitidine but I did take her for cranial osteopathy yesterday. Have you tried that?
