Really glad the scan went well and reassured you, zaa.

I've got my second scan tomorrow. Feeling very, very worried but what will be will be.

Brenna24 · 11/12/2017 21:00

Great news Zaa.

Best of luck tomorrow Lisa

Thanks Smile, placenta is currently sat right atop my cervix, but there's 20 weeks for that to right itself!

Good luck tomorrow Lisa

MsJuniper · 12/12/2017 07:29

My baby is viable today! 24 weeks! I have had this date in my head for so long. Feels like a huge milestone.

Good luck today @LisaSimpsonsbff and great news @zaalitje Smile

I’m so so sorry east, I hope you’re back here very soon! Flowers

Had a private scan on Friday and thankfully everything was normal. They gave me a little video which I thought was nice at the time, now i’m thinking that if something goes wrong I’m going to torture myself with it! Confused

Nausea has started to ease which I think it normal (I’m 10 weeks) but it’s still hard to accept normal things happening. We told some family at the weekend and now I think I’ve jinxed it; very rational of me! Blush

Congrats on the good scan zaa

Lifeofpies · 12/12/2017 09:02

congratulations zaa and juniper! What a milestone juniper Flowers

Very good luck today, lisa X

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/12/2017 09:20

Juniper yay 24weeks :) congrats
thought congratulations on your scan :)
I have my private one next friday when I'll be about 10weeks and I'm absolutely dreading having bad news! My symptoms are really strong though so I'm trying to keep positive!
Lisa goodluck for your scan!

Xx

pommie7 · 12/12/2017 09:58

Hey everyone, just thought I'd pop my head back in and say hello!! Have been avoiding this site a bit cos I always end up reading some form of horror story and scaring myself!! Great to see so many positives and names I remember :-) I am now 19 weeks, got my 20 week scan on the 22nd so fingers crossed for that! Hope you're all doing ok Smile

peachgreen · 12/12/2017 11:35

Lovely to read so much positive news - congrats all on scans and milestones etc!

@eastend, I'm so sorry. Hoping you and DH can comfort each other through this hard and horrible time.

@Lisa Good luck with your scan today - hope it goes really well.

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and genuinely can't believe I've got this far. I keep expecting someone to tell me it's all been a big mistake and there's no baby in there after all. It's the weirdest feeling. Unfortunately this has meant I've left everything quite late and my best friend is beside herself at the fact that I've not yet packed my hospital bag or built the nursery furniture!

GreyCloudsToday · 12/12/2017 11:46

Eastend I am really sorry. Take good care of yourself Flowers

Brilliant to hear so many positive scans! Hooray!

Can't believe it will be 9 weeks for me tomorrow - this is the furthest I've got apart from my one successful pregnancy. Starting to really have some hope.

Good luck Lisa and hope it's brilliant news.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 12/12/2017 11:49

Congratulations thought and juniper. Scan was good news - still all looking good, and bean now measures 8+4, so exactly right for my dates. Am in a bit of disbelief - I've had so few symptoms that definitely thought it was all over. That was my last EPU scan so I think we'll book a private one for just before Christmas to try and keep my nerves in some sort of check. But today I'm pregnant!

brogueish · 12/12/2017 12:20

So happy to see positive updates from so many :)

A quick one from me, I'm now 14+5 and everything appears to be fine, touch wood. Harmony results came back low risk, yay. I'm 41 and this will be my first child after many years of it not working, so we were expecting issues but the worries this time were unfounded. Oh and we're having a little boy! Bear

I have Anti-E antibodies so I'll have extra bloodwork throughout (anyone have experience of this? The info that I was sent doesn't talk about the E ones, helpfully). Next scan is next Thursday. I have gained 8 lbs which is crazy, definitely need to ease off the constant munching.

I have never been this pregnant before. I know there's still a long way to go, but it feels great :)

Lifeofpies · 12/12/2017 12:31

Such lovely news from everyone, really pleased things are ticking along for most. Congrats on the scan, lisa and thought.

And congrats on the boy, brogueish!

Hollymchollyface · 12/12/2017 12:40

Hi ladies, mind if I tentatively join? I started a separate thread but then saw this one existed.
I'm around 6/7 weeks pregnant with dc2. 2 previous losses at 6 & 12 weeks. This has been quite a stressful journey so far. I've had worryingly mild symptoms, and then spotting today since this morning. Got a strong positive with a hpt so still don't know if I am in or out. I have an appointment on Friday with the epu so hopefully will get some clarity then, until then I will see whether the spotting progresses to bleeding or not.
Weirdly have more morning sickness than usual today :/
Hope everyone else is doing well, I will try and catch up a bit as I can see there is a lot of pages to read!

Babydreaming · 12/12/2017 13:15

Lisa really glad the scan went well! Every pregnancy is different and some women don’t get many symptoms, glad that was the case for you!

Welcome holly! I’m only 5 weeks so even earlier and just joined too.

MsJuniper · 12/12/2017 14:00

Fantastic scan news @ThoughtAboutThisTooMuch and @LisaSimpsonsbff - really really pleased for you. Great that your results were good too @brogueish and congrats on finding out it's a boy! And @GreyCloudsToday it's a really good feeling to have got to this point of pregnancy, hope you have a smooth ride ahead.

Welcome @Hollymchollyface - hope your spotting amounts to nothing and you have good news ahead too.

NooNooHead1981 · 12/12/2017 14:07

Another one joining here after an ectopic and surgery this March... I'm now 12w2d with my DC2 and am praying I get to next Tuesday for my 12w scan...

Lifeofpies · 12/12/2017 14:13

Welcome NooNoo and Holly - here’s to a peaceful and healthy ride

Ekphrasis · 12/12/2017 14:27

Hello all!

So sorry I've been absent; crazy work, my son's birthday and I also had quite a mostly uti at the end of last week and the weekend. (Do get seen asap I didn't know they could be that awful in pregnancy! I was really quite ill and delirious and it got worse quickly and after I'd started the antibiotics.)

Congratulations to utter! I'm
so sorry about the loss of your little boy. I hope your little girl is doing well!

I'm sorry for your sad news East. look after yourself.

Congratulations to all of those with good scan news! And well done MrsJ!

18 weeks and feeling many more kicks. Hips gone to the knackered yard though. Belt from now on I think. Round ligament pain is really bad this time round too!

Hi pommie7 - my scan is on the 21st and I'll be 19 weeks :) snap - ish!

Hollymchollyface · 12/12/2017 16:21

Thanks for the welcome. Spotting has got heavier, and I feel like if I stand up for to long, everything is going to fall out Confused so I am not feeling very hopeful.
Can I ask others who've had early scans, do they do it through your belly or vaginally?

MsJuniper · 12/12/2017 16:22

Hi @Ekphrasis - good to hear from you! And welcome @NooNooHead1981

I've started a new thread as we're running out of space here:

Ekphrasis · 12/12/2017 16:33

Sorry to hear that @Hollymchollyface - I had a scan at 8 weeks and it was trans vaginally I'm afraid as I was spotting. Here to hand hold if you need it Thanks

Ekphrasis · 12/12/2017 16:34

Thanks for the new Fred @MsJuniper!

Ekphrasis · 12/12/2017 16:34
