@LisaSimpsonsbff I know from experience this doesn't help much but I had absolutely nothing until 6+4 - not even sore boobs. In fact I had a bleed before I had any symptoms whatsoever.

I can't imagine what you're going through right now. The first trimester was interminable for me and I've only had one previous MMC. It does get easier but I know that's of no comfort right now. Hand hold for you, if that helps at all.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 22/11/2017 14:56

Thanks peach - I know you're right, that I can't read anything into having or not having symptoms. I am hoping it will get better, if I do stay pregnant. I always lose early, around now, so while I absolutely won't be 'out of the woods' in another couple of weeks, at least I will be better able to convince myself that this pregnancy isn't going to be just like those ones. As it stands I just feel like history may be repeating itself exactly Sad

peachgreen · 22/11/2017 15:01

I'm thinking of you @lisa Flowers

MsJuniper · 22/11/2017 18:21

Hi Lisa, thinking of you and hope the sore boobs return soon. That’s the only symptom I get too and the poor things get prodded and poked so much I don’t even know if they are sore any more. All I can say is this pregnancy has been very low/fluctuating symptom and the first time I’ve not had an implantation bleed so there’s been no pattern at all and no way of knowing. It’s so frustrating and worrying and the days/hours/minutes crawl by I know. I have everything crossed for you.

Ekphrasis · 22/11/2017 20:56

Hand holding Lisa, I felt like symptoms faded a little at 5 - 6 weeks and it was very hard. Remember every pregnancy is different and the main symptom everyone has is no period.

Ekphrasis · 22/11/2017 20:56

Very much hoping the weeks become months for you.

Brenna24 · 23/11/2017 04:59

I hope all is well Lisa

Thanks so much for nice messages. Trying to accept that what will be will be and that worrying about it can't change anything - so hard, though! Time just feels like it's crawling at the moment - every day feels so long (and yet I'm getting nothing done at work!).

WLMcI · 23/11/2017 11:35

Welcome back @LisaSimpson and best of luck with these first few weeks!
Congratulations on the healthy scans @MrsJ and @Brenna Smile

I'm 35 weeks today and it's still going well, although I am in with the consultant for another growth scan today. I'm not too worried, as last time at 28 weeks baby was right in the middle of the growth line on the chart, despite my fundal height measurement being tiny! Hard to believe that I could give birth to a perfectly viable baby anytime from now--mind blowing!

GreyCloudsToday · 23/11/2017 14:50

I'm the same Lisa, just a little fluctuating nausea and no other symptoms. This has been the case with my other mc pregnancies.

It just absolutely sucks. I don't know how to get through this period "well". More like dragging through it trying to retain any thread of sanity whatsoever.

hotcookie · 23/11/2017 15:25

Anatomy scan today... Keeping my fingers and toes crossed we don't get bad news. I am trying so hard to be positive, but sometimes it's difficult!

Bump seems to have got massive (although I am pretty bloated and also constipated too-any tips? Eating lots of veggies & having dried apricots every evening) I KNOW I've put on too much weight, but am trying to be relatively healthy.

Fingers and toes are crossed for all others, especially in the early pregnancy no-mans land, oh for the innocence of pregnancy before MC eh?!

Hope your scan goes well hot.

Thinking of you Lisa, it's so tough isn't it.

I've been having mild cramping for a few days and a headache since Tuesday. I'm 11 weeks today and surely shouldn't be cramping at this stage. Is that normal? I remember with my mmc having severe cramping at one point that had me doubled me over and it's not like that, it just feels as though my period's about to start at any minute. Scan first thing on Monday.

Ekphrasis · 23/11/2017 18:34

I’ve had them recently @brogueish, am 15 weeks. My mc symptoms were more heavy pressure baring down from the top of my uterus. My growing bump can get quite achy.

Ekphrasis · 23/11/2017 18:36

Sorry ds interrupted me! Hope your scan was ok @hotcookie.

brogueish · 23/11/2017 19:01

Oh that's really good to hear, Ekphrasis and AnUtter - thank you.

MsJuniper · 23/11/2017 19:52

Hope everything has gone well @hotcookie.

I am still having days where I feel periody at 21 weeks. Just that heavy feeling, different to the mildly terrifying round ligament pain. It's so hard not to be uber aware of every ache and pain though when you are expecting disaster any minute.

I have to go back to the diabetes clinic next week and be prescribed metformin as my fasting bloods are too high each morning. Bugger.

hotcookie · 23/11/2017 20:16

Thank you all-scan was all fine, everything appeared normal, no problems, and they think it's a little girl :) To say we're relieved is an understatement!

I had on and off cramping from about 4 weeks until well gone 14. Constantly thought was about to start bleeding. I do still get it a bit, just the dull period ache

Felt super nauseous for a fair while too, and then panicked when I wasn't. It is so hard, I think I decided I really just had to take each day at a time.

hotcookie · 23/11/2017 20:17

That is we are relieved that everything seemed fine. we didn't care whether it was a boy or a girl, but it's nice to know which!

Ekphrasis · 23/11/2017 20:30

Ah great news hotcookie! You must be relieved.

Oh no that’s pants MsJuniper. I hope that sorts it. Do you feel ok with it?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 23/11/2017 20:49

@Ekphrasis Oh that pressure feeling 😣

@hotcookie That's wonderful news. So glad your scan went okay, and what a lovely little extra you have 😊

I should have my scan at the weekend, hopefully Saturday. We're booking it at midnight when husband gets paid (yes, yes I did demand midnight and the first thing we do). Hopefully little bubba is doing okay in there. The spotting seems to have stopped (it comes and goes but currently about 5-6 days without it now) so hopefully it's all good. Though I have dull pain when I walk for more than 10-15 minutes which has happened for a couple of weeks. God knows what that's about 🙄

BlueeSpottyTiger · 23/11/2017 20:59

cookie great news!! :)
unicorns hehe! Midnight.. i hope to be fast asleep by then 😂

I think I'm going to have to book another scan in the next week or so. Just to put my mind at rest.. waiting until the one i booked for 10+2 seems ages away I'm only 6+1 atm. However I'm having alot of nausea and sickness and had to leave work 1.5hours early today as i was sick 4 times while there. Atleast I've been given the key for the disabled toilets so i can puke in peace, i think i need nappies i piddle abit everytime i throw up. So glamourous. I remember in my pregnancy with dd i threw up in front of the tesco delivery driver and wee'd myself, ill never forget that 🙈

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 23/11/2017 21:07

@BlueeSpottyTiger So much class and grace 😂 Book iiiit! We're ordering pizza and just said screw it we'll have a late night, it's the end of the week and he works nights so figured we'd just spend some actual time together (not as tmi as it might sound)

Brenna24 · 24/11/2017 09:23

Great news Cookie. What a relief.

I have had intermittent mild cramping all the way through to now. I think it is my uterus stretching. I seem to have a pattern of a couple of days of the mild cramping, then a couple of days of round ligament pain, then several more tops don't fit me any more. Although the last big stretch I did the round ligament pain overlapped with the cramping and lasted 6 days. I got massive during those 6 days.

Grin Pregnancy is so glamorous BlueSpottyTiger. I was describing some of the best bits to my little sister by text the other night (she has been living in china for the last couple of years but is due home in a couple of weeks). Her first reaction was to tell me her ovaries had packed their bags and run away. Her second was to say my DH deserved a medal saying 'congratulations on surviving the sweaty, lactating, farting walrus'. Grin
