Omg....when will this labour start!?!?

Hi all....long story short. 39+5 with DC2. PainfulBH for 1.5 weeks, back pain, pooping....I could go on. I had a sweep almost a week ago, made me bleed a bit not much else. Was 2cm but still hard cervix. What is going on?? Any tips to get it going? We DTD this morning, heaps of RLT, I even pulled out the breast pump and have been using it intermittently. Will give another go later. I was induced 9 days late with my first. Please don't let that happen again!!!

Baby Boy Dandy was born at 1:50am last night via emergency c-section following 48 hours of labour.

He is absolutely perfect Grin

My sister gave birth at 2am on the 9th little Tabitha rose weighing in at 7lb 15oz, she is just perfect.

Back to back was horrendous for her but worth every minute she said.

Congratulations dandy well done.

Had my 3rd sweep this morning. Slept for the past 7 hours lol. I'm just exhausted.
Induction is booked for Thursday so I'm holding out for that to be my bubbas day. He's just too darn comfortable in there. xxx Lazy boys!

@sophiejayne96 make sure you get as much rest as you can before your induction and pack lots of snacks and energy drinks, I wish I had packed way more than I did. Good luck!

He's still in there lol. 2 more days until my Induction! I'm not expecting anything to happen before then, I've sort of given up on the idea of him making an appearance on his own. Obviously too cosy in there! xxx

I'm booked in for my induction at 7am Thursday 🙊 Thank You!
I have an appointment with my midwife today so I guess we'll see whether that changes anything at all.

So we got here at 7am, the consultant came and did my BP etc and all good so I'm on an induction ward now. However the midwife came a few hours ago and did an internal.. I'm already 3cm and from the monitor it shows I'm having regular contractions 5mins apart so I don't even need to be induced now, just waiting for a room to be available in the birth centre and then when I go over there they're gonna break my waters and let me have a water birth like I wanted ❤ All good news! Woo.
