Hi @profRiverSong! Yes my app says that I'm due the 28th April but to be honest I think the date I conceived was the 5th August so I believe my actual due date will be the beginning of May. How far along are you?

@TeaAndToast85 did you see/ hear a heartbeat too?!

So we had our private scan today and everything looked fine! If I was a crier I'd have cried. Still can't quite believe it. Measuring a couple of days behind but nothing I'm worried about, lovely strong heartbeat. Don't think I drank enough, scan pics not great (I had an internal with DS at about the same stage and it was amazingly clear) but I'm just so relieved! We did see baby having a wriggle head is on the right hand side, body on the left, yolk sac at the top.

So went for my scan and everything is fine, I'm exactly 8w1d which is what I thought, baby is measuring 16.5mm and has a heart beat of 167bpm
I feel so much better now knowing that I've seen the little heartbeat and everything is coming along nicely phew
I am definitely tired after all that worrying!!

Love all the scan pics I have my second scan in morning I'll be 8wks6 fingers crossed everything is where it's meant to be. See sac n womb @6wks but couldn't get clear view to see if anything in tubes high risk of tubal pregnancy after reversal

So had my scan this morning. all good just one little babe in there. good strong heart beat , woman doing scan not very friendly she gave one pic and didn't give any measurements pretty much told me u have big scan at 12 wks see you then

I had my private scan at Mothercare and the staff could not have been better. Would definitely recommend Mothercare for private scans if your local branch does them. (I believe it is only done in the large stores.)

Im in Ireland so not option, can get private scans but they expensive I got good look at screen and so did dp so will be fine the big scan at 12 wks we wil see all not finding out sec if baby before birth and just happy all was as should be

Anyone got their 12 week scan coming up? I have mine a week tomorrow and I'm panicking so much! Feel like my pregnancy symptoms are going away but I'm only 10w5d, hoping there's nothing wrong x

@charlie0692 I have my scan two weeks Wednesday and am 10 weeks tomorrow... I am starting to worry as sickness has definitely improved. My boobs hurt a lot over the last few days but no significant nausea... hmmm... why is this so nerve wracking!

It's awful isn't it @lisara79 😩 the waiting around and wondering if everything is ok or not is stressing me out so much. I was tempted to book another private scan last weekend but my husband said to just wait for the scan next week 🙈 x

@charlie0692 if I has unlimited funds I'd have scans every week lol... alas... I think the cost is prohibitive here. I just want to feel sick in the morning. Surely it's not mich to ask! 😀😀

@charlie I have my 12 week scan on Monday. I'll be 11+6 so pretty much bang on. Haven't heard a thing such I went to the GP back in Aug to say I was pregnant. So this will be my first interaction with the midwife as well as my scan. They obvs trust me to be taking folic acid etc so no booking apt here Seems like such a strange system that everyone gets treated differently.
My nausea is still bad, although no vomiting and I can eat through it. Sore boobs and sensitive nipples! Insomnia and tiredness too, which is ironic.
Looking forward to Monday, finally get a sneak peek of what's going on in there and proof that these symptoms are worth it!

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the thread, I'm due on the 16th April with my first child... so excited! I have my 12 week scan on the 5th October - think once I've heard the baby's heart beat it will all start to feel real... 😍

Hello ladies. I'm new to the thread too. Due on 15th April...so just a day before you JamieAnn11. I had a reassuramce scan at 8 weeks and everything was fine but I haven't received any info about my 12 week scan or my booking appt. I'm trying not to panic though .

Have any of you had to buy maternity clothes or bras yet? My bras feel like they're cutting into my ribs already haha x

Hey @charlie0692 don't be put off about lack of pregnancy symptoms! I haven't had any (other than tiredness) and I'm into my 9th week. I had my scan on Sunday and the baby was absolutely fine

I finally gave in and bought bigger clothes as nothing fits me...especially bras! I also invested in a couple of sleeping bras and worse one for the first time last night...best thing I ever did, as apart from usual toilet breaks, I slept like a log for the first time since being pregnant. No boob pain...yay!
First scan this afternoon, super nervous and excited at the same time! 🤔

Welcome new people!

My first appointment is a week on Tuesday when I will be 11+4 (they don't really have midwives here so you just have to go to hospital for all your appointments unless you have a GP which most people don't). I don't even know if there will be a scan, I've read that they don't do it until Week 20, which will be so frustrating if it's true because you can't even get one privately without a prescription here. I'm desperate to know if everything is still OK since the private scan I had while I was back home at 7+6.
