Congratulations @Ashleigh1989 Smile

Seeing all these scan pictures is making me very excited but also nervous for our first scan next week! Mixed emotions or what! Can't keep it hidden for much longer as I'm hardly fitting into any of my clothes!

Ninjamilo · 12/09/2017 08:22

I've been told I'm crazy for wanting a private scan to reassure myself, but all these scan pics are making me want to book it even more!

We've got a lot of social things on the next few weeks, and if I'm not drinking people will know I'm pregnant so I'd feel a lot better knowing everything is ok so far and just telling them.

Maybe I'll just book it and drag hubby along!

INeedABiggerBoat · 12/09/2017 10:04

Hi everyone, can I tentatively join? I'm 11 weeks, due on April 2nd. I've mostly been on the pregnant after MC thread because I got pregnant straight after MC in June. Had a private scan on Saturday and saw little one waving and kicking, but getting to the 2nd trimester still feels like an age away!

Hi @ineedabiggerboat welcome to this thread... I'm on the pregnant after miscarriage one too!

amysaurus87 · 12/09/2017 21:10

Hello all!! Been off here for a few days...there was me thinking I was escaping from the bulk of pregnancy symptoms but no...new in over the last few days...extreme aversion to strong smells, looks like I'll be avoiding perfume counters for a while! Grin

Still haven't heard about my booking appointment or first scan, it's been a month since I was referred so I'm chasing that tomorrow!

All the scans are looking fab...i can't wait to see my own little bean!

Griffin252 · 12/09/2017 21:42

Hi everyone, seems a few people joined when I was holiday. Congratulations to all new people.

I glanced over the thread whilst I've been away, so pleased for you all with your little ones growing nicely.

Just an update on my situation for those that remember my early Scan. It was worst case I'm afraid, I started bleeding on holiday and miscarried fully today. I'm just really glad the worst bit waiting until I was home.

I really wish you all the best with your pregnancies. Xx

So sorry to hear that @Griffin252 Flowers

I've got my booking in appointment with the midwife today. Can't wait to get my little file 🙈 I'm still suffering from extreme fatigued and nausea. I can cope with the nausea but the tiredness is killing me. I'm too busy to be tired.

AnnaMadden · 13/09/2017 10:12

@OliviaFullman are you sure on that date lol...a very long pregnancy Confused

FourForYouGlenCoco · 13/09/2017 13:35

Griffin I'm so sorry. Look after yourself Flowers

Welcome Bigger and Olivia....guessing you meant 21/04 Grin

Bigger pregnancy after mc is very scary. Amazing scan pic though, a proper little baby! Your chances of all being fine are brilliant at this point, I know it's still a worry though - this is baby #3 but pregnancy #6 for me and the worry never quite leaves you.

Still feeling so ill here, went to bed with the kids yesterday at barely half 8. Have booked a private scan for Saturday and the time is going sooooo sloooowly...I just want to know if everything's ok or not. Keep saying to DH, there better be a point to feeling this sick!

julia02 · 13/09/2017 14:13

@Griffin, I'm sorry darling. Be strong, everything will be ok.

@Olivia we have the same due date together 21.04.2018.
I don't know if you girls have experienced this. I'm worried. Last night, I felt a couple sharp pain at vagina just for a second. The pain come and go. I asked today the midwife (I had the first appointment) and she said you have to discuss this with consultant or if the pain repeated go to A&E. Have u been at the same situation? Many thx

HarryHarry · 13/09/2017 15:13

I'm worried because I don't feel that ill. I've had vague nausea for weeks but I haven't thrown up at all. Now I pretty much feel fine except for tiredness and a few twinges now and then. Is anyone else having the same?

CaffeineBomb · 13/09/2017 17:11

So so sorry Griffin that's awful news.

how's everyone else feeling? I'm not actually being sick much but have such bad nausea in the afternoons and evenings I'm struggling to eat and drink. I've gone off so many foods too and have an aversion to strong smells Sad feeling more ill than with dc1 although I actually physically was sick more then. HarryHarry try not to worry all pregnancies are different and not everybody feels ill. Tiredness is one of the main symptoms but I found a bit earlier on that my symptoms came and went although if it would put your mind at rest have a chat with your midwife xx

WineAndTiramisu · 13/09/2017 18:56

My EDD is 21/4 as well Smile

My symptoms have been much less since about 7+5, only nauseous now when I get hungry, so think it depends on the person. Think there's a huge variation in normal at this stage!

Teeeee · 13/09/2017 19:10

@Griffin252 I'm so so sorry
