Hi ladies.. early days but thought I'd start a group for everyone due April next year... see how we're all doing!

I think for a pregnancy announcement I'm going to be really in original and get my eldest a big brother t shirt to wear to the exteended family.

Had my scan at the weekend all was looking fine and measuring 2 days ahead

@lisara79 I know what you mean about having friends that are struggling to conceive. I'm selfishly going to be doing it anyway.🙈 As I would have already told my two close friends who are struggling to conceive.

@Loosemoose28 I'm exactly the same. I'm also trying to carry on with Sw. But all the good stuff makes me feel sick. Until today I've only had a lot of heaving but that resulted in being sick today. But Atleast I feel better after it. An doing an announcement with your too dogs is so sweet. What breed are they?

@HarryHarry how has the spotting been today? My sister in law had similar symptoms, there was no bleeding from the uterus itself so she was diagnosed with a grumpy cervix! Have also got the vague nausea feeling, nothing appeals to me but if I don't eat I feel much worse. Truly hoping this goes soon!

@Griffin252 when are you off to Italy? Have been thinking of you these last few days.

With the whole conception announcement am not sure yet. I spent a long time saying I didn't want children and it was only in the last year that I've come round to idea. I just know 'I told you so' will be the first thing out of my parents mouths and it's putting me off telling them to be honest!

Has any one else got the smells that make them sick yet?? I love chocolate any kind and form of chocolate it was my partners sons birthday yesterday so we got him a chocolate cake I cut a little bit off this morning for my 2 to have some and was nearly sick off the smell of it anyone else had anything like this? This is my 3rd pregnancy and never been like this before zz

Thanks @WonderfullySunny, we've just arrived, I was anxious about the travelling just in case anything happened but I feel okay now I'm here. I'm trying to put the whole thing to the back of my mind for a while

WonderfullySunny It's the same every day. I'm just ignoring it now as (so far) it doesn't seem to have had any effect on the pregnancy.

@Griffin252 great news glad you got there ok. Exactly right just focus on relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous place that is Italy and it's food!
@HarryHarry it's a pain but at least like you say it doesn't seem to have affected the pregnancy which is the main thing.

I've just seen Kate and William are due their third DC in April 18, wondering if anyone here will have the same due date lol

Nausea ongoing over here, got a huge professional exam on Thursday, revising for the last month has been hit and miss due to nausea. Think I'll just be happy if I get to the end of it without vomiting over the examiner!

Can I jump in? Due April 25th :/ so am in the throws of early pregnancy.. nausea, fatigue, dizziness are all dear friends now. Smell of curry also very offensive at the moment. (Usually love curry) I started a thread about how I'm hating it. Maybe will feel differently at scan in 2 weeks.. so that'll be week 9. Will I be able to see much? Not a totally expected pregnancy so catching up on what I need to know. The news was happy for me and partner but just a whirlwind.

Can i join in? Im due April 28th. Pregnancy does not agree with me this time round and looking for people who are in the same boat!

I thought the emotions were supposed to start to subside at about week 8?? iv e had tears in my eyes 3 or 4 times today... in work! lol... ridiculous... I get loads at home but never in work. I look crazy.

Welcome @Teeeee and @profRiverSong ☺ @Teeeee I had a private scan at 7w1d and could see what looked like a little kidney bean the heartbeat! So you should defo be able to see something by 9 weeks ☺ I have my 12 week scan the end of this month, I am counting down the days!!! I'm currently 8w5d and feeling really nauseous all day, also the smell of some foods is really getting to me, I seem to be going off all of my favourite meals 😩 I'm sure it will all be more than worth it though!! X

Hey all and welcome newbies! I'm horribly nauseous. 9 weeks tomorrow and feel like it's only getting worse. Like lots of you I'm having massive food aversion, have gone off most of my favourite foods. I can never think what to eat, and then after I eat something can't stomach the thought of eating it again.. No matter how nice it is! Curry is a big no no for me too @teeee!

I'm on a diet of toast and marmite. All my favourite foods make me feel sick to think of! I'm even off avocados and houmous which I love. I'm drinking a green smoothie a day alongside the vitamins to make sure I'm getting those. Nausea no where near as bad as last week.

Oooh toast, laughiny cow spread and marmite here. Started trying to be good and use cracker bread but its vile

Feeling sick a lot but haven't been yet. Eating anything and everything 😣. I have a feeling I'm going to pile on the lbs in this pregnancy. 1 week today until my private scan. I'm 6 weeks today.

@ScarletSienna Toast and marmite also a favourite meal for me!! Don't know what I'll eat if I go off that too off to bed in a sec. oh geez. Night all xx

Hello @PGTips83 waves enthusiastically nice to see you on here! When are you due again? I'm 6+6 at the mo, typical of everyone of here exhausted and not wanting to eat anything, have a weird feeling like I've got a lump at the top of my throat but haven't actually been sick as yet. Wading through treacle is a good analogy, have you had any other symptoms as yet?

@MamaOfTwos Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your previous losses, will keep everyone crossed for you and your bean. What time is the scan today?

@Teeeee you have a fellow due date buddy! How are you feeling today? I'm finding some days are easier than others but with a constant nausea in the background.

WonderfullySunny I'm just hoping it holds off for 3 hours on Thursday morning! I'll let you know if I actually vomit during it (which would be rather embarrassing!)

@WonderfullySunny feeling the lovely usual waves of nausea and am very very tired, but it's ok cause I'm not at work today and the partner is on a mission to locate some chips! How are you today? X

@wonderfullysunny @Teeeee That's exactly how I feel right now too, and it's always this time everyday that I just want to sleep. I'm only two days back at work from my holiday, where I was able to blissfully nap whenever. How is everyone else coping, especially with work? I'm in a job that means I have to be "on" all the time and I'm wondering whether to tell my boss early to explain why I'm crashing so badly. What does everyone else think/ do about this?

Other symptoms have been feeling sick and hungry at the same time, and a strong aversion to eggs. The usual sore and mahoosive boobs, and dull period pain types cramps. Anyone else noticing their nips are sticking out more than usual? I felt like a pinup girl this morning!

On a very positive note, today I had my six week scan and everything looks as it should - we even saw the heartbeat!! I blubbed.
