Hello everybody! Hope it's ok for me to join in...it's time for me to jump over from the TTC boards, because I am now 4 and a half weeks Grin Main symptoms in the last couple of days have been tiredness, and burping Blush Hope you're all having a nice restful Sunday x

Bobbiepin · 20/08/2017 18:41

Congrats and welcome @Polliver!

@mrsJ absolutely! So heavy and its only getting worse. When you think about whats in there it makes sense but thinking rationally doesn't make me more comfortable!

mrsjkerry · 20/08/2017 19:07

Haha @Polliver get used to the burping!!

OP posts:
lydiangel83 · 20/08/2017 20:39

@mrsjkerry yep uncomfortable and heavy here also

Icantthinkofastupidname · 21/08/2017 11:17

Only 18weeks but had a bad night last night, just couldn't get comfortable and had a dull pressure type ache in belly pretty much all night. Can only describe it as similar to trapped wind.

My boobs seem to have filled out and became firmer, but they're not really any bigger, still fit into my little 34B's anyway! Still time left for them to blossom I guess! I had the tiniest drop of milky liquid on the left nipple last night when I went to bed, so maybe that's the milk glands developing? So I could be in for a growth spurt.

Squigglefish · 21/08/2017 12:44

@Icantthinkofastupidname i started leaking really early on, it now happens every night and quite a bit too.

I'm so uncomfortable today, it hurts to walk Sad

mrsjkerry · 21/08/2017 15:20

@Squigglefish I am achy too. Belly sore. Back hurts. Feet hurt. All I did was pop to the shops for an hour!! On top of that been throwing up all afternoon 🙄

Please baby come early! 😄

Back hurts and belly sore too. Can't believe you're still being sick @mrsjkerry that is pretty miserable :(

Flatwhite31 · 21/08/2017 16:36

Hi all, hope you don't mind me saying hi! I'm nearly 12 weeks, 31 and this is my first pregnancy. My 12 week scan is on Wednesday. I'm finding it really hard to keep a lid on my nerves about it! I'm honestly so nervous. Did anyone else on here feel the same?

Bobbiepin · 21/08/2017 18:16

@mrsJ can't believe you're still being sick. That sucks so much!

@flatwhite definitely! I think we've all been terrified or nervous about one thing or another. The scan calms you for a bit then something else pops up and you're back to the ever present state of worrying! Congratulations.

Polliver · 22/08/2017 12:19

@mrsjkerry DH is finding it quite amusing to have such a burpy wife Grin

How is everyone today? I'm trying to get used to decaf tea. BrewBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuit

TheLionQueen1 · 22/08/2017 12:58

I have drunk stupid amount of decaf tea Polliver! I still have a coffee a day or if I don't have a coffee when I'll have a few normal teas but other than that it's decaf!

I've got tonsillitis again so back on antibiotics which I hate having to take whilst pregnant, hard to differentiate between what's a normal pregnancy pain at the moment (33weeks today so lots of them!) and what's pain as a reaction to antibiotics which I'm not great on!

Bring on baby arriving!

ew1990 · 22/08/2017 18:46

I've just gone into the 3rd trimester (28+3) and I am exhausted, I've struggled this week at work and just wanna sleep all the time

Bobbiepin · 22/08/2017 19:48

I quite like decaff tea. I don't drink a huge amount of it but its better than decaff coffee.

lydiangel83 · 23/08/2017 04:24

I'm 30 wks today and still not sleeping with low energy levels and low mood (work related). I'm finishing work at 35/36 wks so not long to go and now worried a month off pre baby is too long?!

TheLionQueen1 · 23/08/2017 07:02

I'm finishing at 36 weeks as well Lydia, I can't wait! I just really hope he isn't too late and I've wasted a load of mat leave!!

I've been having a bubble bath before bed then a mug of decaf tea or hot milk and using my pregnancy pillow and found I am sleeping a lot better. Still up every other hour for a wee though! Heard lavender oil is supposed to be great for sleeping?

I've got my first antenatal Class this morning, makes is seem incredibly real!

lydiangel83 · 23/08/2017 08:22

@TheLionQueen1 yeah I worry about that too! Never had a month off work before! I have got milk and lavender spray on pillow I think my mind just gets active at night, as does baby! Wouldn't be so bad if work wasn't so draining :-/

mrsjkerry · 23/08/2017 12:47

Haha. I'm the opposite. I've just had six weeks off and now not looking forward to going back to work for five weeks!!

4d scan today ladies: really worth it and would definitely recommend if you're considering it.

@Littlelouse your little one looks perfect

mrsjkerry · 23/08/2017 18:05

That's a great shot! This is the best one we could get. She had her hands in front of her face the whole time. 😄🙄

OP posts:
Bobbiepin · 23/08/2017 18:11

@mrsJ I'm the same, 6 weeks off and then back for 5 weeks. I'm hoping those 5 weeks go as quickly as the summer holidays have!

Saw the midwife today, baby is back on average growth after her little chunkster sizing last time. Head down at the moment too, all going to plan 😊

lydiangel83 · 23/08/2017 18:13

Wow @Littlelouse that is a great shot. @mrsjkerry she's probably just camera shy :)

Littlelouse · 23/08/2017 19:14

Admittedly, this was after being send out of the sonographer's room to do star jumps and have a cold drink so that baby moved his arms away from his face.

They also provide an estimated birth weigh, which I've heard is grossly inaccurate but I'm really hoping is correct (7lb 10oz)

I took my mum as it's her birthday today and she's quite possibly the most excited soon to be grandmother who has ever lived Hmm She loved it.

MistyBxx · 23/08/2017 19:43

Hi girlies, I'm looking for some hope!
I'm really not feeling myself if I'm honest, I am ridiculously tired. I'm off work at the mo and all I want to do is sleep, and I'm really miserable when I'm awake coz I want to go back to sleep! Today I woke at 9:30am then back to bed at 2pm til 4:30, now I've been awake for 3 hours, I've got cleaning to do and the kitchen to tidy and I can't be bothered, I just want to go back to bed for another hour or two. Even if I sleep from now til 9, when it comes to bedtime tonight like 11-12, I will still be ready for it. I will wake a couple of times to pee in the night, but I will still sleep through til gone 9 tomorrow then it will start over again! Everyone keeps telling me the fatigue is normal but this feels too much, like I'm worried. I can't be deficient in anything coz im taking those pregnacare which literally cover every vitamin going surely. I'm 15w 4d so quite far behind a lot of you, so just wondering if I'm likely to feel like this for the duration or if it will ease at all?!?

Amazing scans by the way girlies. I'm having a private scan a week Saturday where I will find out the sex! It's a normal scan but they do a "4d peek" so can't wait to see that 😍
