I know I'm late to the party here but I have no WiFi untill the 29th!!! (first World problems! Haha)
But just wanted to say a massive congrats to @MSH2010 they are both absolutely gorgeous 😍😍 and I bet you can't wait to get them home!!
My belly button is also gross and I have a hairy belly too so @ew1990 and @bobbiepin you are not alone! Haha.
Did the whooping cough really hurt? I've gotten alright with taking blood now but still super squeamish with injections 🙈

ew1990 · 19/08/2017 17:56

For if your rhesus negative blood x

ew1990 · 19/08/2017 17:57

@Missonhartbaby I won't lie I thought it hurt but I'm a soft arse lol

TheLionQueen1 · 19/08/2017 18:32

Misson, I didn't even notice they had done it, I don't think it hurt at all!

I've got my first antenatal Class next week, it's flying by!

mrsjkerry · 19/08/2017 18:52

It didn't hurt any more than a blood test at the time but in the evening after my arm feels very bruised 😢

KimchiLaLa · 19/08/2017 19:11

sore breasts (although that's mostly stopped now - I've read that by now (I'm 9+1 weeks) the breasts will have stopped growing until you're breast-feeding. As I'm already well-endowed up top, I'm very glad about it. **

Where did you read this? Mine have definitely slowly grown over the whole 6 months I've been pregnant. They're less sore now thank God - at 30 weeks!!

TheLionQueen1 · 19/08/2017 19:16

Agree with Kim, mine didn't grow at all until about 15 weeks when I had to get a nursing bra as my back was hurting because of them so much, now I'm 32+4 and I have to buy another bigger one so they definitely keep growing!!

Bobbiepin · 19/08/2017 19:38

How weird, I had my whooping cough vaccination yesterday too! The actual jab didn't hurt that much but my arm is still aching, I had a bit of a crap night too. I had my 28 week bloods a fortnight ago. They haven't called me so I'm assuming everything is ok. I'm back at the midwife next week so hoping she's got the results.

SunyBay · 19/08/2017 20:35

Oh, heavens, I've read so much stuff I can't remember now. I'll see if I can find it again.

Nope, can't find it.

I guess it might depend on the individual. Before I got pregnant, I was a 30FF, which is why I'm not looking to get any bigger! They're already huge!

Squigglefish · 19/08/2017 22:36

Is anyone's baby kicking their cervix area!? I know it's that area because it feels just like when you have a smear. It's so uncomfortable and is making me jump. Baby was still breech at my last midwife check so I'm guessing it's her positioning.
Also, my inner things feel like I've been horse riding. Probably everything slackening up 😂

NW10teacher · 19/08/2017 23:16

I've gone from an AA cup to a D so far (I'm 21 weeks) and I swear they are actually getting bigger every day! I've basically now got the boobs I spent my teens longing to develop - and now I can't imagine why lol!

ew1990 · 19/08/2017 23:34

@NW10teacher mine have gone from a b to a c, I've spent all my teenage years wishing for a big pair of boobs up until about 2 years ago when I started to like the way I looked

KimchiLaLa · 20/08/2017 00:09

Ive prob gone up two cup sizes. I got measured at 16 weeks and that was my biggest spurt, I'll need to measure again now :(

lydiangel83 · 20/08/2017 03:02

Sharp pain where baby's head is (I think),
Anyone else had this? Got to go and travel to visit relative in a coma in intensive care tomorrow so don't want to make a fuss if nothing but also pain doesn't feel good :(

mrsjkerry · 20/08/2017 07:42

Where abouts @lydia? I always get sharp pains and stitches in my belly.

OP posts:
lydiangel83 · 20/08/2017 08:14

Right up near ribs where head is(in breach). 111 said go to A&E but pain subsided as I was on phone so didn't bother. Hoping no damage caused, think I would know?!

mrsjkerry · 20/08/2017 08:41

I have frequently had pain in my ribs. My midwife told me not to worry about it. In fact what she said was "unless you get any pain that doesn't subside after you've taken paracetamol then I wouldn't worry". I've never actually taken paracetamol because I don't like to take anything and pain has always gone away on its own anyway...

Yesterday I felt pain in my ribs like something had hit me there very hard, or like something was caught in my ribs. Is that similar to yours? It went away after a few hours..

OP posts:
Missonhartbaby · 20/08/2017 10:31

@lydia I get alot of pain in my ribs on my right side, it's just where baby is positioned, and between my ribs is stretching to accommodate him which is why it aches quite often. Feels like a stitch. It's not a sharp pain. So it's probably normal :)
Also my boobs haven't grown massively, maybe a cup size up to a 34DD instead of 32D but my nipples are huge!! Haha

ValentineFizz · 20/08/2017 10:35

@MSH congratulations on your twins, they are beautiful - well done!! Flowers

@lydia I've had a sharp radiating pain on my right top rib at breastbone since about 22 weeks, it's there about 90% of the time and bloody sore! Midwife reckons it's stretching and internal organ movements, and advised paracetamol (which I've not been taking) and trying to get up from my desk and walk about regularly as everything is getting hunched up when sitting down. Warm radox baths have been helping and I've ordered a wee heat pad from amazon to try that too.

As far as boobs go, I've gone from a D to FF cup and now those are starting to look tight (overspill) at 28+3 today, so probably need to go and get measured again!

Bobbiepin · 20/08/2017 11:23

@lydia I get a sharp burning pain under my ribs in the same spot on the left side and have since about 23 weeks I think. It comes and goes. MW said its intercostal muscles stretching and advised paracetamol if I needed it (but pretty much told me that pregnancy is uncomfortable and to buck up 😂). I also get this odd feeling like there's a foot under my ribs but only ever on the right side which is more irritating than painful. I think baby is transverse atm (MW said nothing about position so I could be wrong) but I get kicked and poked on either side, sometimes simultaniously, not so much up or down. It could easily be an elbow under my ribs rather than a foot. I can also feel her very present above my bellybutton most of the time.

My boobs are amazing right now. I need to get measured for maternity bras but I reckon I'm about a C/D atm. Aside from my now massive nipples I have the boobs I've always wanted! Getting some serious compliments about them too, which is a lovely distraction from "omg you're so huge, you must be ready to go now right?"

mrsjkerry · 20/08/2017 11:36

My boobs have also grown throughout. I have no idea by how much because I cannot be bothered to get measured for a size that may be temporary and also can't be bothered to buy maternity bras. I hate buying maternity clothes as I won't wear them for very long! None of my pre pregnancy bras fit; I am in stretchy tight ones.

Thanks ladies yes it was a sharp pain that lasts c.30 mins and sore afterwards. Spoke to midwife she said could have been baby turning or other related pain. Said I should go to drop in clinic but can't go today so will call in sick and go tomorrow. I was getting paranoid that maybe head stuck there and causing brain damage, but sure it's all fine. Would be good to know where baby is as I can't tell but have had kicks lower down on either side so I think baby has moved now x

ew1990 · 20/08/2017 15:06

I don't have pain as such more like feeling uncomfortable under my ribs if I sit in a certain position, like everything's being pushed under there

TheLionQueen1 · 20/08/2017 16:15

I don't have any pain in my ribs just awkward times where he decides to sit right across the top and my bump goes a funny shape. But I'm getting awful pain in my pelvic bone (not really a thing but that area), have googled it and don't think it's anything to be concerned about as it comes as goes, isn't constant, but I will mention it to my MW.

The baby hiccuping has been a big thing the past two weeks and is so frustrating! It's like feeling a pulse constantly on the outside where he is jumping hiccuping every few seconds!

mrsjkerry · 20/08/2017 17:48

Does anyone else's belly just feel heavy and sore?
