Just been to doctors they had a letter from hospital saying I've got a uti so can they prescribe antibiotics and get in touch with me

mrsjkerry · 15/08/2017 18:16

This happened to my friend. Try not to worry too much about it, at least they picked it up and can treat it xx

I had one at start of pregnancy too, just panicked off the voicemail they sounded dead urgent 😂😂

@MSH2010 how are you today?

lydiangel83 · 15/08/2017 19:38

Hope you're ok @MSH2010 was wondering how you're doing today.

And hope you feel better soon @ew1990 good that they detected it and can start treating quickly!

Anyone got an IKEA cot? They look decent and considerably cheaper than alternatives so wondering what the catch is!?

Bobbiepin · 15/08/2017 19:51

@ew1990 don't worry so much about it. I had a really minor one a few weeks ago. They just like to treat early and get rid of it before it has the chance to get to your kidneys. What antibiotics did they give you?

ew1990 · 15/08/2017 20:31

@Bobbiepin amoxicillin. I had an inkling I had one I was needing a wee straight after having one

@lydiangel83 we have got one, we've got a matching dresser too just need the wardrobe now, they are actually really good quality and look good, the cot also turns into a toddler bed

Hopefully it clears up quickly. I looked at the ikea ones but DH hates ikea for some reason. We ended up getting some mamas and papas ones in the sale, 8 weeks and £20 for delivery! I wasn't impressed but at least the changing table top comes off so it'll last for ages as a chest of drawers. Baby's room is pretty tiny so needed something small.

Squigglefish · 15/08/2017 22:29

Thanks ladies, glad I'm not alone @ew1990. It's usually my right side too!
It's probably colostrum not milk and normally only a small amount. it's just irritating.
You're right, there are so many differences to everyone's pregnancy. Even our bumps so different x

TheLionQueen1 · 15/08/2017 22:46

I've got an IKEA cot and changing table, we don't have a fortune to spend on it and they look the same as some of the more expensive ones with great reviews! Do also have a snuzpod for when he is in our room but will move him into the cot when he moves into his nursery!

Icantthinkofastupidname · 16/08/2017 10:39

We're definitely getting IKEA wardrobe and CoD. Can anyone confirm for me that the cots are standard size? I've always stayed clear of IKEA beds as someone once told me they are obscure sizes not standard ones so you need to get your mattresses and bedding from there too. Don't know if it is true but I had no reason to doubt it!

I've just need looking at the bounty offers now and then. They usually have a cotbed on for £80-£100ish inc mattress.

mrsjkerry · 16/08/2017 12:12

Does anyone get pain or pulling or stitches low down in their belly? Mine is under the bump. Where I imagine they'd cut you for a c section...

lydiangel83 · 16/08/2017 12:20

I've got piles and I don't know what to do about it :( any advice??

ew1990 · 16/08/2017 14:31

@lydiangel83 I tried going to chemist but they wouldn't sell my anything, you have to see your doctor

@mrsjkerry I haven't had that yet, hope it's not painful for you?

lydiangel83 · 16/08/2017 14:56

@mrsjkerry I had that near the start and turned out to be a urine infection. Alternatively as others had said it could be round ligament pain x

ew1990 · 16/08/2017 18:31

Girls my belly button makes me feel sick 😷 Id post a pic but don't know wether some are really squeamish x

Squigglefish · 16/08/2017 18:34

@mrsjkerry I get them if I move get up too fast and move awkwardly.

Eeek, I woke up in agony at 3am with cramp in my calf. My poor hisband thougbt I was going into labour. Poor soul was in a total flap for a few seconds! 😂

Bobbiepin · 16/08/2017 18:35

@ew1990 do it! I don't have a bellybutton any more. Its just flat. I'll post mine if you post yours 😂

Squigglefish · 16/08/2017 18:55

Hahaha! Mines almost inside out now 😂

mrsjkerry · 16/08/2017 18:56

@ew1990 let's see!
My belly still very cramped. I don't know what it is. Must be just stretching 😢

OP posts:
ew1990 · 16/08/2017 19:17

It's dead stretched, feels like it's going to rip where my piercing used to be

First Time Pregnancy (4)
ew1990 · 16/08/2017 19:18

And my bellys hairy 😂😂

mrsjkerry · 16/08/2017 19:36

Haha! I like when the belly buttons pop out because it's like classically pregnant isn't it. Here's mine...no sign of it popping out! Though I'm worrying about stretch marks now where the skin feels like it's being pulled !!!

@mrsjkerry it sticks out under my top 😂 I can't see any stretch marks on you, my bellys stretched loads and I haven't got any (yet). I know everyone's different but I don't think they would bother me, there our stripes ladies and we've earned them

Bobbiepin · 16/08/2017 19:41

I've managed to keep one of my piercings in, but the other one went quite early.

ew1990 · 16/08/2017 19:47

I had to take my piercing out at about ten weeks
