I am worried but more so because of the risks to myself at the moment with the platelets issues. Especially as I was quite happy at iWork yesterday it's all happened so quick. But I'm in the right place and the special care unit is amazing so what ever the twins need they'll get.
Was determined to make it to the 1st September so they were the oldest in the year. But that's life. I'm 32 weeks and the doctors seem happy enough. So just got to relax and go with it. X

ValentineFizz · 12/08/2017 23:02

@msh2010 best of luck to you all for tomorrow, as you say you are in the right place and being well looked after Flowers

@MSH2010 ooooh! That's so exciting! How are I feeling? How many weeks where u when u where told it's twins? X

rachzilla · 13/08/2017 21:34

Another newbie here! 6 weeks today, only found out Wednesday and it was a massive shock. Literally been off the pill 2 months and put down being late to the pill, just had horrible period/gas like cramp for about 10 days which led me to test. Wish the cramping would go away! Excited but also a bit terrified as we weren't even going to try till next year!

ew1990 · 13/08/2017 21:51

@rachzilla welcome!

@MSH2010 how are you and the little ones today? Xx

Princezz · 13/08/2017 21:52

@rachzilla congratulations! It was obviously meant to be! Amazing news! And welcome x

MSH2010 · 13/08/2017 22:00

Doing alright thanks ladies just fed up of being in hospital already and everything balancing on a shoe string.
I know it's going to be a c section. I know it's going to happen just when is the question.

Princezz · 13/08/2017 22:13

@MSH2010 I hope all goes smoothly for you, sending lots of love x

mrsjkerry · 13/08/2017 22:43

Is anyone else experiencing shortness of breath? I feel like I can't take in a full breath. Especially in the evenings!

Littlelouse · 13/08/2017 23:32

Yep, definitely mrs. Found out yesterday I'm quite severely anaemic though so I'm guessing that's the reason! I think it gets worse in the evening because I've had dinner, which is squishing my lungs.

mrsjkerry · 14/08/2017 06:50

Yeh I read it could be anaemia. I wouldn't be surprised as I am vegetarian. I'll tell the midwife when I see her next week 😬

lydiangel83 · 14/08/2017 07:39

I also have that breathlessness and am also veggie! So fed up of work can't wait to finish in 7 wks time!!!

lydiangel83 · 14/08/2017 07:39

@MSH2010 good luck and thinking of you x

user1498725320 · 14/08/2017 08:22

Hi there everyone...I am currently 18+3 and wondering when it was that everyone else's bumps started to show? I was carrying a bit of extra weight when we fell pregnant so now just can't tell what is bump and what is my extra greedy belly. Thanks x

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 14/08/2017 08:46

Might be tmi but does anyone else suffer with hemorrhoids? I tend to get them in between the vagina and bum and they get really itchy. Last I had a painful bowel movement which caused them to bleed. Woke up this morning to have a wee and when I wiped there was a bit of blood it was red but not bright red so obviously I started panicking but now I'm thinking it was dried blood from the hemorrhoids as they are still quite painful and itchy this morning. Been for another wee this morning and nothing there so fingers crossed 🤞

mrsjkerry · 14/08/2017 10:50

Yeah @Victoriaaaaaaaa I have suffered with this as well. You'd definitely notice if it was serious bleeding from the front. A tiny bit of blood is probably from when you went and it was painful.

OP posts:
ew1990 · 14/08/2017 11:16

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I've got them, I had a bit of blood from the back a while ago x

lydiangel83 · 14/08/2017 11:25

I may have them but can't really tell?! Painful when I go but no bleeding - haven't checked for lumps tho?!

ew1990 · 14/08/2017 11:31

@lydiangel83 bit embarrassing but I squatted over a mirror coz could feel something and I had a couple - I went to pharmacy to buy something but they wouldn't sell me anything - the doctor needs to look at them 🙈
