I just can't wait for a proper bump, at the mo,I defo just look fat lol. Doesn't help that I cannot stop eating. It's ridiculous how hungry I am.
Also girlies, where is the best place to register for freebies?? I saw that @Princezz had some diary and toy lol. I'm too scared to start buying anything yet coz it's still so early, but I wouldn't mind getting a couple of bits and bobs sent to me lol 😂 xxx

@MistyBxx I agree! To scared to buy anything I was too scared to even sign up for a chat site until in had my scan! But when I signed up for this site they asked for my address so they could send me deals etc an so I gave it, I was reluctant at first. But glad I did now. I'm sure u can add your address on your account info maybe?

Awe @Bobbiepin maybe it's depends when u sign up or something? No it was a complete surprise I just really hope that my scan next week does confirm 2 beating hearts! But I'm aware it could still only be 1 as we hear last week.
I hate not knowing tho!

Hey! I've been off for a while but nice reading back to see how you've all been getting on and hi to new ladies :)
Life has been so hectic, got made redundant, moved house... Talk about stressful!
On the upside baby is all good, measuring big! I'm feeling huge at the moment, I'm 30+1.. I can't imagine how much larger Il be when I'm full term!! Eeep!

Also got to see my pre ordered pram today... Was so exciting! I'm in love with it! I'd recommend looking at pram world website aswell, as this pram which has free car seat, changing bag etc, is suitable from birth, basically does everything was £200 less than it was in any shops! So was such a good price at £400!

Huge congrats @MistyBxx and totally understand your feelings re body shape we have all been / are all there!

@Missonhartbaby nice bump and loving the pram colour! Ended up with a grey silver cross which looks smart but I am usually very colourful so not sure it feels like 'me'. Sounds silly I know!!!

@Princezz fingers crossed for you I secretly wanted twins and have big history of it in my family. Keen on some freebies too so will investigate!

Hi all, bit nervous about posting as just joined today but this was one of the first threads I have come across!

First time pregnancy, still very early only 5 weeks! A whole mix of emotions at the moment!

Feeling so so tired though and quite bloated, that's normal right?

Hi @simply, congratulations! Sounds totally normal. I had a massive "bump" at 8 weeks but then it disappeared - all bloat!

@lydia I looked at loads of prams but the design on this one just stood out. It's nothing too in your face either and everyone I've showed it to is like that's so you! Haha. I do really like the silver cross ones though in grey, can always snazzy it up with blankets etc!
Congrats @simplysmeeks unfortunately it's all normal! It will ease off for a while and then comes back nearer the end! I'm constantly bloated again now and so tired, I keep falling asleep all over the place! I'm 30+2 :) but for the past few months before this I've been fine tiredness wise so it will get better! And having symptoms are always a good thing for baby however annoying they are! Haha

I got something free but I can't remember where from, it's like a month by month calendar on a stand that goes from conception to babies first birthday, it's really good, I'll have a look where it's from when I get home xx

@Bobbiepin @Missonhartbaby Thank-you! And that's alright then, yeah I definitely can't be showing yet must all just be bloat lol. Ahh well it's all pretty exciting, jut got booked in for my first appointment with the midwife as well so the ball is rolling 😊 xx

Went window shopping with my mother in law today, and I think I might have chosen our pram! Just waiting until after the 20wk scan (8th sept, still a while to go yet!) and hoping to see it in an offer. It's the mamas and papas urbo2, in skyline grey. I've seen offers on preciouslittleones but it's the wrong colours :(. The bundle with the carry cot, car seat and base is £999 in mamas and papas so hoping I'll find it somewhere either cheaper, or with some extra bits in the bundle.

Was hoping to go to the mamas and papas new parent event in the hope there's a discount voucher, but they're all fully booked. I'm booked onto the mothercare one, but not sure if a) they do bundles on the pram and b) have it in the colour I want.

Surely it would be worth hanging on for another mamas and papas event? You've got time and the discounts on something that expensive would be worth it. Or have a look ok ebay?

We got the icandy peach, does everything we need to and aside from a little hormonal drama about the colour which we wont dwell on, its lovely. Works with the maxi cosy car seat which I was set on.

The iCandy Peach is a lovely pram, we went for the Orange in the end but I do prefer the colours for the Peach.

I understand the emotional drama. I found an urbo2 bundle with more stuff in and much cheaper than in mamas and papas, but they don't have the right colour. It HAS to be skyline grey or nothing! Of course if I can't get that one for a decent price before I get too close to January, I might see reason and realise I need to be more open to a different colour!

I'm 31+3 today, count down on! My belly button has almost popped out and some stretch marks on my hips but not too bad! Measured perfect at MW app today!

My hospital bag arrived today, I've cheated and bought an amazing made up one which has most things in it! Also chose his coming home outfit!

@TheLionQueen1 your bump is lovely! Do you think the bags are worth it then? X
