Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Ew that's so expensive!! We pay £3 for 4 pictures, but were lucky with the 20 week scan because we had a trainee so she took loads of pictures and printed them all! Can't believe yours are £4 a picture 😲

Lovely scan icantthinkofastupidname that is so clear!

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 23:24

I know it's ridiculous! A couple of week before a scan we just chuck pound coins In a tin and then take them, along with hospital parking it costs near to £20 lol xxx

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 23:24

Oh god didn't mean to put the kisses

ScotsLamb · 18/07/2017 23:49

We are so lucky up here. We get one free scan picture for 12 and 20 week scan. There was an article in BBC news about it.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-40633286

MSH2010 · 19/07/2017 06:14

Oxfordshire is £5 for 1 or 3 for £10

We were given them at 12 and 20 weeks. Didn't get asked last week at our 28wk scan. But the bigger they are the harder the image I suppose

mrsjkerry · 19/07/2017 08:22

Our hospital just says on the letter "if you'd like to purchase a picture it's £5". But every time we've been they give you about five..!

lydiangel83 · 19/07/2017 09:47

I think ours are £5 each too, in Bucks / Beds. Just had 25 wk midwife check up, took ages to find heartbeat and she said I should be feeling movement more than 2 times per day which is what I said. Midwife says need to pay more attention and should be more movement than that

mrsjkerry · 19/07/2017 10:42

Did she offer you any further checks @lydiangel83 or does she think it's a case that you're not paying attention?? I pay close attention and don't feel anything some days!!!

lydiangel83 · 19/07/2017 11:23

@mrsjkerry she said she thinks it's a case of not paying close attention and offered nothing further. She advised lying on left side for 2 hours and count number of episodes. Should be at least 10 and if not call hospital. Got a horrible cold today - will be having early night tonight as not sleeping well.

MSH2010 · 19/07/2017 13:51

Ever just have one of those days.... almost 29 weeks, first time mum, 8 weeks to go and just feel so under prepared. Just feel like I haven't got a clue what I'm doing, should be doing or need to do.

And I'm going to be responsible for two babies?!?!?

lydiangel83 · 19/07/2017 14:16

@MSH2010 yes - honestly nearly every day! And I guess twins will be double the adventure and also the reward :) no clue about anything and too tired/ stressed to take in new info. I'm hoping to have just under a month off before baby arrives to prep and get my head in gear!

ew1990 · 19/07/2017 15:24

@MSH2010 I feel exactly the same, it's a constant worry

I feel so exhausted these past 2 days, not been sleeping well can feel baby kicking my bladder and I'm up all night going to the toilet, I've done nothing but lay on the sofa drained

lydiangel83 · 19/07/2017 15:30

Recent things I've googled in case it makes you feel better:

  1. how long is a pregnancy in weeks
  2. when does 3rd trimester start
  3. what is a baby vest?

Seriously! I am totally clueless! Blush

TheLionQueen1 · 19/07/2017 15:36

Lydia I have literally googled all those things 😂 I also had a melt down trying to buy nappies during an online baby event as the sizes were over whelming!

Seriously though the baby vests are ridiculous, long sleeve, short sleeve, baby grow etc. I just need someone to seriously tell me what I need to dress this baby in!!

Hope you're feeling ok MSH, you're definitely not alone in feeling that way way!

lydiangel83 · 19/07/2017 15:42

Christ @TheLionQueen1 I haven't even thought about nappies! Where are you buying them online? A colleague said her friend just gave someone a bunch of cash to buy everything they needed - I imagine not a cheap way to do it but would be easier lol!

TheLionQueen1 · 19/07/2017 16:44

I only bought a few because there was a baby event, think it was Aldi (may have been Lidl!) and it was so stressful! Giving someone else the money to sort it sounds like a great idea!!

Just had my 28 wk MW app and was told it was my last blood test (I'm horrendous with them!) and the buggers have just told me that, because I want to go MW led, the birth centre might need to take more bloods at 34 weeks to check iron levels! Ahhh!

mrsjkerry · 19/07/2017 16:47

Left school straight away at the end of the day to come home and do my examiner marking but I've had to just lie on sofa I feel so nauseous. 24 weeks tomorrow and still bloody here!!!

ew1990 · 19/07/2017 16:58

We tried to buy some nappies, there were so many different sizes we came away with a 52 pack of mini size 2 (6-13lbs) which should last all of 2 and a half days, I'm thinking we may need some of the size below as well

TheLionQueen1 · 20/07/2017 17:09

How's everyone feeling today ladies? I've become incredibly tired over the past week, had a nap today when I got back from work and still struggling now. Not fun!

lydiangel83 · 20/07/2017 17:54

Stinking cold so put out of office on came home early and lazed around! Due to go to first local pregnancy yoga class tonight and don't want to miss it but know I'm not well enough really :-/

TheLionQueen1 · 20/07/2017 18:23

I don't blame you Lydia! I wouldn't push yourself if you feel rubbish as you don't want to make yourself feel worse! Hope you feel better soon Flowers

ew1990 · 20/07/2017 18:31

Don't want to put a downer on you all but These last 3 days have been hard, I've been so tired and had to drag myself off the sofa - just don't feel myself, and today's been 2 years since my dad died, just finding it all a bit overwhelming at the minute

TheLionQueen1 · 20/07/2017 19:35

So sorry to hear Ew Sad I would just not feel guilty about not being able to get off the sofa etc, have some you time as it must be really hard. I know for sure my emotions are already all over the shop so can't imagine how you must feel x Flowers

ew1990 · 20/07/2017 19:40

Just had a bath and some tomato soup with a crusty roll and feel miles better. Thank you

Everything's just so overwhelming, like money worries after the babies here, am I gunna be a good mum. It's all so scary x

lydiangel83 · 21/07/2017 12:51

How are you today @ew1990 ? Also feeling rubbish and DH out tonight (as was I meant to be) so feeling sorry for myself!
