Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

I signed up ages ago but haven't got anything icantthinkofastupidname! Registered online! Did you get it quite quickly?

Icantthinkofastupidname · 17/07/2017 17:01

It's taken a fair while, I just filled in the paper form that came in the pack from midwife at 8week appointment. Sent it off with maternity exemption certificate. So it's probably been 4 weeks or so. I already had a boots advantage card, don't know if that makes any difference? Although it was in my maiden name and previous address.

ScotsLamb · 17/07/2017 21:49

My Boots stuff took a while as well. Maybe two or three weeks.

lydiangel83 · 17/07/2017 22:01

Did anyone manage to get their Bounty box in the end and if so where from?

TheLionQueen1 · 17/07/2017 22:10

I picked up a bounty pregnancy pack from the hospital where I have my scans. Personally I think It was rubbish! A small freebie pack of pregnacare, a few sanitary towels and then just vouchers for things like Milton steriliser!

TheLionQueen1 · 17/07/2017 22:10

I registered with boots literally about 8-10 weeks ago, will go back and check I've signed up right! Sure I've had emails from them though!

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 11:42

We have builders in today doing the kitchen roof, and I'm still sat in my jamas!! To be fair they were meant to come at 8:30 and didn't turn up till ten minutes ago,

lydiangel83 · 18/07/2017 11:48

I was at the dentist this morning and loved the free clean and check up courtesy of my Mat1B card!

MSH2010 · 18/07/2017 11:57

First day of feeling pants at work 😓
28+3
Bumps booming
But all my blood tests came back clear

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 12:03

@lydiangel83 I must really book into dentist for check up.

I'm sat In the front room and all I can hear is wood and stones hitting the kitchen floor, having the full thing done (roof and ceiling) kitchen is an extension on the back. I'm dreading the clean up afterwards

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 12:05

@MSH2010 hope you feel better soon Flowers did you just wake up one day and feel like bump had grown loads or was it a gradual thing?

lydiangel83 · 18/07/2017 12:07

Oh no @MSH2010 hope you're ok. I've noticed last week or so harder to bend down and put my shoes on already! What am I going to be like later on?! 25 weeks this week!

MSH2010 · 18/07/2017 12:20

Thanks ladies. I'm trying to struggle on through.
I was worried for ages that my bump was small. But had heard it was around the 28 weeks that it changed and they weren't wrong. It's been a gradual thing but I find it also depends on how they want to be positioned. Currently twin 1 is head down on my right side. Twin 2 keeps swimming around one minute it's across under my ribs other times I think it's trying to change to be head down.
All I can say is these next 8 weeks can hurry up!!!

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 12:31

I was getting loads of kicks/punches on my left side and then one night in the bath everything went dead tight like she was turning then I started feeling them on right side, it's still bizzare to feel her moving so god knows what twins are like xx

ScotsLamb · 18/07/2017 12:34

MSH can I ask a potential daft question? How do you know which one is twin 1 and which twin 2?

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 12:46

Scots I was thinking the same 😂

ScotsLamb · 18/07/2017 15:42

For those struggling with nause md a new found love of squash, can I reccommend Bottlegreen Plump Raspberry squash. Expensive but delicious. I think of it as cheaper than wine and more in it!
It makes me feel better than just water as it takes the sick taste away.

Squigglefish · 18/07/2017 17:32

Aww baby had hiccups last night 😍

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 18/07/2017 17:41

Yay!

First Time Pregnancy (3)
lydiangel83 · 18/07/2017 18:00

@Squigglefish could you feel that?! I just feel kicking sometimes and now that others have described the tightness of stomach as baby turning I guess I have felt that too.

Squigglefish · 18/07/2017 18:21

@lydiangel83 that's all I've felt up until last night, it was like a series of rhythmic kicks and I though "what is going on?" Then it dawned on me. They was unmistakable and very sweet, didn't last very long though 😊 25 weeks tomorrow.

Squigglefish · 18/07/2017 18:21

*were

lydiangel83 · 18/07/2017 18:37

Interesting @Squigglefish I'll keep an eye out for that - very sweet :)

Icantthinkofastupidname · 18/07/2017 22:03

12 week scan today. LMP said 12+5 scan nudged me on to 13+1 so due date now 22nd Jan.

Conveniently the machine to pay for your scan photos (usually £3 for 3) was out of order, so the sonographer printed out a reel of about 8 for us!

Think we woke it up as it was rubbing it's eyes!

ew1990 · 18/07/2017 22:06

@Icantthinkofastupidname aww how lovely, I love seeing other scan pictures.

At our hospital they are £4 per picture 😳 we always spend £12-£16 coz they get us a few different shots.
