Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

@ScotsLamb interesting about not having fruits and veg on there for listeria!

ScotsLamb · 12/07/2017 17:48

Potentially because most of it Ian washed and then people rewash before they use it. It was written in 2014 and the author is american. I just find it interesting.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 12/07/2017 18:07

It's really interesting! Shows how uncommon it really is as well! Are they figures for overall or just pregnant women?

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 13/07/2017 08:48

Hello second trimester!! 🎉

ew1990 · 13/07/2017 09:52

I managed to get a video of my stomach of baby kicking last night, can proper see it ❤️ @Victoriaaaaaaaa it flies by doesn't it?

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 13/07/2017 10:02

Yeah @ew1990!!

I'm still so scared to have sex even though I'm now 13 weeks. Dh is now starting to get pissy about me not wanting to even try it because I'm still really poorly!

ew1990 · 13/07/2017 10:09

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I was scared but there's no reason to be honestly, your cervix is closed so nothing can get up there, don't worry, xx

ScotsLamb · 13/07/2017 10:09

Victoriaaaa I'm the same at 16 weeks. We had sex at 11 weeks (and I can honestly say it was the best sex ever) but the next day I fainted (hopefully not sex related...) and then my sickness got worse. My sickness is getting better so no reason why we can't go again. I did say it might help me feel baby move...
Go for it. You'll love it!

MSH2010 · 13/07/2017 10:58

Honestly ladies pregnancy is natural you'll drive yourself insane if you worry about everything.

As for sex I went mad in the early days. Just couldn't help it. OH was knackered as I just wouldn't give me a day off. Enjoy it whilst you still can. Believe me the bump soon gets in the way and makes it bloody difficult and uncomfortable.

NC1990 · 13/07/2017 18:10

I agree MSH2010 it's so easy to worry about everything but it does no good at all. Your risk of stuff like listeria in this country is so, so small if you take the necessary steps to avoid it (which is really just basic food hygiene).

ScotsLamb I am another Scot on here, I live in the NE. You can probably guess what industry I work in 😄

ew1990 That's so exciting I'm looking forward to being able to see the kicks and rolls. My little lady kicks and prods all day long, usually strongest when I'm in a meeting 😁

mrsjkerry · 13/07/2017 21:43

I still can't feel baby 😩 23 weeks!

ew1990 · 13/07/2017 21:47

@mrsjkerry you will do when you least expect it.

What's everyone doing in regards to cot bedding? I don't like the sound of blankets, although they are tucked in I don't think I'd sleep for fear of them covering face, I was thinking maybe like a gro bag? It's all so daunting at times

TheLionQueen1 · 13/07/2017 22:23

I've bought a few sleeping bags Ew, due in October so bought a few different togs. I'm just going to pop him in one of those with a vest and sleep suit on!

ew1990 · 13/07/2017 22:33

@TheLionQueen1 I think that's what I'm gunna do

FirsttimemumJan18 · 14/07/2017 07:28

Hi Ladies

I'm not a regular poster on here but as I've been awake since 5.30am I thought I'd read up on some discussions and just say Hi 👋🏻
I'm 14 weeks today after a rollercoaster and emotional IVF journey so this little one is very much wanted and we cannot wait to meet him or her!
In all honesty despite having already had two scans it doesn't seem real yet and it all feels quite surreal although the nausea is very real! I also wanted to introduce you to baby Harley at a scan at 13 weeks and 3 days. It was pretty cool as we saw
Him/her doing what I can only describe as a
Mexican wave! Do I know a baby is def in there just hard to believe at the mo x

mrsjkerry · 14/07/2017 07:55

Hello @FirsttimemumJan18! Congratulations xx I have also seen baby in there FOUR times now, but I don't believe it at all! I'm convinced I'm just getting fat 😄😄

NC1990 · 14/07/2017 08:08

Welcome @FirsttimemumJan18, I know of quite a few IVF parents in real life and all their little ones are doing brilliantly. I've had FIVE scans so far 🙈 three NHS and two private! Will probably go for another private scan in a few weeks to check baby's growing fine as she was quite little at 20-week scan.

ew1990 I have bought a little sleeping bag too, they can be quite pricey so will be keeping an eye out in the sales.

ScotsLamb · 14/07/2017 10:35

I'm also in the don't believe teeny is in there. I had convinced myself that something was wrong before my 16 week appointment and if the hadn't checked for heartbeat I was going to book another private scan.
A friend who has 3 children said she didn't believe she was pregnant until she felt movement in all 3 pregnancies. I get the feeling I will be the same.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 14/07/2017 16:44

I had Chinese a couple of weekends ago and planning another one tonight. It does have msg in in though.. would you have another one so close to the last one with it being only a couple of weeks?

ew1990 · 14/07/2017 17:30

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I have Chinese once a week, before all these rules come out women ate whatever they felt like x

TheLionQueen1 · 14/07/2017 17:54

I've had more than one Chinese in a week! Just read the NHS food guidelines Victoria as a lot of stuff you have mentioned isn't even mentioned there or a concern at all! I would stick by what they say and try to relax a bit!

ScotsLamb · 14/07/2017 18:50

I've had a Chinese once a week since being pregnant. Hoping it's not an issue 😧

TheLionQueen1 · 14/07/2017 18:55

Ladies, how do you think the women in China have babies?! 😂 A Chinese is fine!!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 14/07/2017 19:08

@TheLionQueen1 they're used to it though 😂

gardendrama · 14/07/2017 20:01

A bird flu over me earlier: do you think I might have somehow accidentally contracted bird flu? Or toxoplasmosis from the cat that lives next door maybe?
I ate some chicken three weeks ago; should I be worried about salmonella?

Dear god: how do people live their lives like this?
