Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

Girls have all your belly buttons changed? Xx

KeepingItReal2017 · 08/06/2017 21:17

Hey ladies!
Looks like everyone is OK. I was after some much needed thoughts...

Problem 1 - I probably can't have the Nuchal scan on NHS as I am out of the country between wks 11 and 15. Did you all have it? I know that I can have the anomaly scan around 20 weeks. But did anyone opt out of Nuchal scan and why?

Problem 2 - looks like I might not get an early NHS scan so I will book private at 10 weeks + 5. At this stage, all being well, would you tell friends and family? Or would you wait until the following week and tell everyone at 12 weeks?

Thanks xoxo

lydiangel83 · 08/06/2017 22:23

No change to belly yet @ew1990 but think I felt first kicks tonight :)

lydiangel83 · 08/06/2017 22:23

@KeepingItReal2017 I told close family before 12 wks but everyone else after. Just know too many people who've had too many problems to start telling people earlier :-/

KeepingItReal2017 · 09/06/2017 06:00

Thanks you @ew1990 and @lydiaangel83

ew1990 · 09/06/2017 07:46

@lydiangel83 I'm so sorry but I forget exactly how far along everyone is? I used to have a proper inny belly button and it's popped right out! Xx

mrsjkerry · 09/06/2017 08:24

@KeepingItReal2017 I had to come out about my pregnancy around 8 weeks because I was so sick!

lydiangel83 · 09/06/2017 08:30

Hi @ew1990 there are a lot of us on here :) I'm 19+2 today! Felt baby kick last night whilst DH was getting excitable about the election. None of us slept last night!

KeepingItReal2017 · 09/06/2017 08:35

@ mrsjkerry It's the hardest secret to keep isn't it!!

TheLionQueen1 · 09/06/2017 08:46

I told a few people at just after 8 weeks as I had my private scan and all was ok, then everyone else after 12 weeks.

My belly button hasn't popped which is amazing as I'm bloody huge now, and the feelings from the baby kicking and moving around are very very odd. I love the fact I know he's ok but not sure I'm a massive fan of the kicking Confused

ew1990 · 09/06/2017 08:54

I'm 18 week tomorrow I can't believe how fast it's going! I've felt small movements, like bubbles popping and a rolling feeling but no kicks yet, can't wait for the first kick xx

NicoleC1990 · 09/06/2017 09:16

Hi everyone, haven't posted since the very first thread but been catching up. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow, can't believe it! Just found out we are having a little girl ☺️🎀💗 so excited. I have my 20-week scan on 3rd July, can't wait to see her again even though I've had 4 scans already! (two NHS and two private). Hope everyone is doing well.

KeepingItReal, I had the screening at my 12-week scan, figured I might as well. Fortunately came back very low risk 1 in 100,000, it took about 2-3 weeks for the letter to arrive. We told our parents and siblings at 11 weeks and friends at 12-13, but I know that's quite late for some people. IIRC my SILs told family at around 8 weeks. Xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 09/06/2017 09:16

The piles have started today! Woke up with bad constipation cramps been on toilet most of morning 😩 Any remedies?

Bubbasmama2017 · 09/06/2017 09:35

Congratulations @NicoleC1990 I'm also 17 weeks tomorrow the 20 week scan feels forever away!! Need to be patient really hope we can find out the sex of the baby.
@Victoria I find prune juice helps I have to be really careful what I eat anyway and the pregnancy has made mine tummy much worse!

NicoleC1990 · 09/06/2017 10:26

Thanks Bubbasmama2017, it's nice to have a due date twin! My local hospital won't tell you the sex at the 20-week scan so we had to fork out £60 for a private one, bit of a pain but a good excuse to see baby again and my husband doesn't have any patience so it worked out well! 😊

NicoleC1990 · 09/06/2017 10:31

Also finding myself soooo distracted at work, keep googling baby girl outfits 🙊 must try to concentrate.

Bubbasmama2017 · 09/06/2017 16:57

Is anyone finding out the gender but keeping it a secret? Thought it might be a nice surprise for our family and friends but also might let it slip and ruin the surprise Grin

Squigglefish · 09/06/2017 17:23

Hi all! Just come back from hols, thought I have been feeling kicks for about 2 weeks bit was unsure. I did a doppler for the first time in about 5 weeks (my friend borrowed it) and baby was kicking up a storm and I felt one for sure. I'm so excited now!
@ew1990 my belly button has changed a bit, it looks.....more open?hah xx

ew1990 · 09/06/2017 17:44

Mine is making me feel weird, I don't like being buttons and it's gone from not being able to see it to stuck right out!! Sorry everyone if the pictures too much 😂

ew1990 · 09/06/2017 17:44

*belly

mrsjkerry · 09/06/2017 17:54

Wow @ew1990 !! I am 18+1 and no change in belly button whatsoever!

Teachervoice · 09/06/2017 18:52

Ohhh...that gave me shivers! 18+1 here too and no belly button change. How likely do you think it is?? Confused

ew1990 · 09/06/2017 19:08

Tell me about it it makes me feel all weird inside 😂

NicoleC1990 · 09/06/2017 19:27

I contemplated keeping the sex a surprise but when the sonographer said girl I wanted to scream it from the rooftops 😄 I know a couple of people who have managed to keep it secret though with no issues!

My belly button has started changing too 😞 Becoming more and more of an outie everyday when it was firmly an innie before!

Bubbasmama2017 · 10/06/2017 08:11

@ew1990 that's crazy!!! I'm 17 weeks today and really hope that doesn't happen to me soon Blush woken up today feeling more tired than I have for weeks. Luckily don't work weekends but feel like I could easily spend the whole day in bed Shock
