Oh miami so sad for you. I understand how you feel. I had 3 m/c feel so dishearten & no hope for this pg but still keeping it together

Miami81 · 01/05/2017 21:01

Thanks ladies
I feel like you all have been picking me up all week. Spotting hasn't got any worse so just going to try and calm down for a small bit. Might give docs a buzz tomorrow to see what they say.
Scan not til 9 weeks, which is such a long way away. May have to reconsider that!!

mammabear4 · 01/05/2017 21:13

Oh no @Miami81 it's so hard to stay positive isn't it. But cramps and spotting could just be normal early pregnancy symptoms. Sending hugs Flowers hope you're doing OK. Is it worth going to a&e and getting an early scan yet? I'm keeping everything crossed for you, your symptoms sound so promising. I know I'm only 4+3 but don't FEEL pregnant yet as had no in-your-face symptoms i.e. sickness. The early days are so stressful aren't they and sure the stress isn't helping anyone 😞
@Thingymaboob congrats on the weight loss. You're about as far along as me! I had a MMC in February and had the op early March, so caught on 1st "normal" cycle after the MC. It sounds positive that you feel different - I do too! Although so early on I do keep thinking is it just wishful thinking. Fingers crossed for us as everything progresses xx

Thingymaboob · 01/05/2017 21:29

Thanks mamabear4 I'm so bloody nervous. Got cramping like I'm going to have a period. I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Sweetyboo · 01/05/2017 22:48

IM NEW on mums net🙋🏻anyway Thingymaboob im same, i keep getting like a sharp pain in belly or pain like period & back pain & i get worried & paranoid. Im only 6 weeks today so keeping it cool & calm. Inside im panicking if 4th time im gonna have to go thru all that crapConfusedSadi hope all goes well tho. Good luck to every1

MoonlightMojitos · 01/05/2017 22:53

I've pm'd you knorrig :) good luck for tomorrow! I'll be there too for the same thing! Mine was also low at both 20 and 30 weeks.

miami so sorry you're going through the stress :( fx everything is OK, so many people on here have had spotting and everything be fine and it's completely normal in early pregnancy but we all know how extra stressful everything is after mc. I remember well the stress of every little cramp and twinge too and constant anxiety. Like everyone else has said try and stay positive which is so much easier said than done.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 02/05/2017 06:13

Today I am 6 weeks pregnant otherwise known as the day the miscarriage started two months ago. It's going to be a long day but nothing dramatic to report yet.

Miami81 · 02/05/2017 07:06

Donna
Holding your hand today. I am also 6 wks today. Both of my poor wee beans stopped developing at around 6+2 and 6+4, this whole week is going to be hard. Today I am pregnant though. Woke up very thirsty and been asleep since 9pm.
Try and keep as distracted as you can today. I have loads of meetings at work and a few deadlines so hoping they distract me enough.

WLMcI · 02/05/2017 07:24

Sweety welcome! We're all in the same boat here (or different variations of the same boat), so we all understand that anxiety. You're exactly as far along as DonnaNoble and Miami81 if you're 6 weeks today (and 2 days ahead of me), so we're literally going through the same stage! Here's a link to all the acronyms people tend to use on mumsnet, which I found helpful when I first joined: www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms Smile X

GingerHanna · 02/05/2017 07:59

My previous mc was 6 weeks also and I remember well the fear when I got to that day on this pregnancy. Happy to say I'm now 11+4 and looking forward to my scan next Tuesday. (Admittedly slightly anxious of getting bad news at that one but I have a feeling that never goes away).

GingerHanna · 02/05/2017 07:59

What I meant to say was I feel your pain but more likely than not you will get through today just fine and all will be well. Flowers

Hazandduck · 02/05/2017 08:29

Handholding for today Donna. Getting past that milestone is one of the hardest parts of being pregnant again after mc. X

DoctorDonnaNoble · 02/05/2017 08:35

Just frustrating that I know I'll be temporarily relived only. I found out about my MMC in 2013 when I went for an early scan at 8 weeks.

Sweetyboo · 02/05/2017 09:50

Updates ladies im 6weeks pg & got an early scan tomorrow im SUPER worried & paranoid. Heart beating so fast since i find out

DoctorDonnaNoble · 02/05/2017 09:55

Got hold of midwives!!! Huzzah! They're going to get back to me with an early scan.

Thingymaboob · 02/05/2017 10:23

Really worried as my BFPs are lighter today! Am convinced another MC is imminent. I'm not bleeding etc. Just lighter tests

theAntsareMyFriends · 02/05/2017 10:34

Sorry to not read anyone else's news but a quick update to say my baby boy arrived on Sunday weighing 7lb. He was extremely quick - I was reading bedtime stories to DS1 at 9pm and holding my new baby by 10.20. He was delivered by DP at home as the MW was still on route to us. We are all well and he's a good feeder and sleeper so far.

Good luck to everyone else on this thread and wishing you all a happy ending too.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 02/05/2017 10:38

Wow! Congrats Ants.
Just heard back from midwives. Scan booked at the EPU on the 16th May. And it's one of my days off work. Now to get through the next two weeks.

Hazandduck · 02/05/2017 10:44

Wow amazing Ants huge congratulations! X

GingerHanna · 02/05/2017 12:16

Congrats Ant that's great news!

oliversmummy26 · 02/05/2017 12:19

Wow Ants what a birth story, and how special it must have been for your DP to deliver baby. Congratulations!

INeedNewShoes · 02/05/2017 14:42

Brilliant news Ants. Congratulations! That's quite an entry into the world for your baby boy Grin I hope that you and your DP(!) are recovering well.

TootsyBella84 · 02/05/2017 14:59

Hello ladies! I didn't realise a new thread had started and thought the other one had been rather quiet 🙈
Had my scan this morning at EPU and happy to report I have a little baby with a little heartbeat. I cried!
