Thank you for the welcome sock. I had a scan today and the doctor couldn't see anything so I am pregnancy of unknown location for now. We weren't expecting to see anything as I am only day 22 of my cycle but I am still nervous. Waiting for my hcg and keeping my fingers crossed. Hoping everyone else has some rest in store for the bank holiday.
X

PollyCazaletWannabe · 30/04/2017 10:04

Thanks Tiggy. I have a scan on 8th May so that's good, but despite starting my course of progesterone tablets yesterday I am still bleeding a bit today :( I have to go back on Tuesday for another blood test to check my levels so am trying to stay calm until then x

Hazandduck · 30/04/2017 10:11

Sorry you are bleeding polly I hope it stops soon for you :( How far along are you? Could it be implantation spotting?
Crossing fingers for you too meadow.

PollyCazaletWannabe · 30/04/2017 10:13

Thanks Haz. I am 5 + 5 according to LMP but the doc thinks I might be a little less based on my HCG, so I'm not sure. It is brown blood but it's still worrying :(

Hazandduck · 30/04/2017 10:57

I really hope it just means the bean is making itself firmly attached in there! It's bloody horrible after going through pregnancy loss all you want is to be pregnant again but as soon as you are in a whole new world of fears and anxiety! Are you having a nice laid back bank holiday? I would just keep my feet up, rest and eat lots of comforting food if I were you. X

PollyCazaletWannabe · 30/04/2017 11:10

Yes I hope so too haz. DH and I are having a lovely relaxing weekend. Going out for dinner tonight to a steak restaurant, which will be great. How about you?

Hazandduck · 30/04/2017 11:21

I have got a slightly busy day, I have to go and paint fence panels for my wedding haha. My dad, OH and FIL are building a little bridge thing and I need to paint it! But it's one of those ploddy on type jobs, and it's at my mum and dad's so I can always slope back to the house for a cup of tea and biscuits. It's one of those situations where I know my whole family know I'm pregnant but they are waiting for me to tell them, so they are letting me off all the labouring a bit lol. Tomorrow we have no plans and I plan to be horizontal on the sofa all day! Glad you have a restful day ahead, sounds like just what you need xx

AmyB1986 · 30/04/2017 13:53

Hi all hope you're all ok...

Welcome and congrats to anyone new here.

15+3 now and feeling absolutely shocking! Is anyone else around the same weeks feeling like they could just curl up and die? I can't even describe how I feel right now. Felt like I've been brewing for a cold the last few days but nothing has come, feeling hot but no temp, sick, tired, weird sore throat and kind of like my nose has something stuck up it but not bunged up. Feel worse now than in the 1st tri 😖

On the plus side, my belly had popped right out and I've felt some tiny swooshy type movements every now and again.

SayItIsntSo1 · 30/04/2017 14:05

Amy I'm glad it's not just me. I have had a couple of better weeks in the 2nd tri but feel grotty so much of the time. DH and I had a lovely evening yesterday just the two of us; cinema then dinner but I've had a dodgy stomach since we got back last night. I expend all my energy getting through the week and then crash at weekends. I'm starting to wonder if I should plan to finish work earlier than 38wks as I'm not convinced this is going to get any better now.

Needless to say having an upset stomach is making me worry something is wrong. Just laid on the sofa having a cup of tea and hoping I feel bubs having a move around to put my mind at rest Sad I'm pretty sure I felt him this morning.

I hope everyone is having a lovely bank holiday weekend. We have our house extension starting on Tuesday which will be exciting and stressful for the next few months, so we're getting prepared. I think I may be kidding myself to think it will all be done and decorated by the end of September though...

TheLegendOfBeans · 30/04/2017 17:19

Say - I've had gippy tummy every day for about a week, just feels aggravated and grumbly.

Amy I am so much worse this pregnancy than I was with DD; I'm beyond exhausted. Small inclines are puffing me out. Hills are a no-go. I've done a total of an hours walking today and I'm dead on my feet.

I just want my energy back: my second trimester "bounce". Everything is such an effort and it feels like I'm getting worse not better.

AmyB1986 · 30/04/2017 17:46

Say and legend sorry you're both feeling crappy too.
I came home from work on Friday evening feeling like all of my energy had been sucked out of me. Got up early yesterday as I took my cousin, mum and dd's to the Warner brothers studio tour. The 2 hour drive there, 3 hours walking around and 2 hour drive back probably hasn't helped the crappy feeling.
I've tried to eat today but only managed half of what ever I've had before I start feeling like I'm going to throw up.
Hoping this stage will pass quickly! Have too much to do to feel ill

CharlieWeasley · 30/04/2017 18:41

Can I very tentatively join in? Had a mmc in October last year which knocked me for six, I really struggled to deal with it. Got pregnant again and then MC at 7 weeks in march. Just had a bfp so it's fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky! AF was due yesterday and i got 2-3 weeks on a cbd this morning so I'm happy that for now things are how they should be.

mammabear4 · 01/05/2017 09:35

Hi @charlieweasley. You're in a similar position to me! I've been kind of lurking in this thread because I'm only 4+3 and don't want to get my hopes up yet. But as the thread suggests trying to stay positive 😊
Hope everyone's doing ok and enjoying the bank hol.
How are you doing @Miami81?? I'm still getting cramps on and off but very bloated and starting to suspect it may be trapped wind ha! One of those lovely pregnancy symptoms! Think I'll feel better when I start getting morning sickness... the only time in life when I'm actually wishing to be ill!

Miami81 · 01/05/2017 09:49

Hi @mammabear4
All seems to have settled down a small bit. I am 5+6 this morning and I feel grim (Yipppeeeee). I have been texting my sister all weekend questioning symptoms. So far I have, blocked nose (since around 5dpo), bleeding gums when brushing teeth (must make dentist appt, but apparently this is due to more blood??), tender nipples and bigger boobs (but not killing me like they have been with the two mc so very worried about that). However my new big symptom (which my sister also got) is the trots! No vomiting for me, no no, I seem to be dealing with the other end instead. I was writhing around for around an hour yesterday morning and then just felt nauseous for the day. Oh and headaches, lots and lots of headaches. And very thirsty.
So all in all I seem to have gone from no symptoms this time last week, to quite a few in the space of a couple of days. I am hoping they all keep getting stronger and am trying to make sure I drink enough water.
I hope you are ok. I must say I do feel slightly calmer now that the cramping has stopped/ lightened off and there has been no more spotting since Friday. I am hoping that was all just really strong implantation stuff and that it is the same for you. All the best.

GingerHanna · 01/05/2017 09:57

Just found this thread having wondered why the old one was so quiet! Baby brain in full force already!

I had four days of the nausea easing off and today, back in the office, and it's here again. Grrrrr... Suffering with headaches and now migraines again. Going to see if I can get to the docs tomorrow to ask about what I can do for it. Old meds are off the table for the duration of the pregnancy.

Still feeling relatively good about the pregnancy but 12 week scan due next Tuesday (will be around 12+4) and can feel the anxiety building. Will also get bloods taken for NIPT which is nerve wracking also.

knorrig · 01/05/2017 10:13

Morning all,

Welcome to all the new joiners..hope you get lots of positivity from this thread like I have!

Great news on the symptoms Miami sorry you're not feeling good but I know how reassuring symptoms can be. For me I had dodgy tummy week 5, nausea and permanent hangover feeling week 6 and the puking week 7 onwards! When I went round to my best friends and cried at how rough I was feeling she assured me it was a good sign!

I'm now 32+2 so getting close. Had our first NCT class yesterday, was good to meet real life people at the same stage at us with the sane questions!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 01/05/2017 12:26

Hi can I join?
I'm 3+6 so a long and worrying time ahead! I have been trying for dc3 for 18 months, with a mc a 6 weeks about 8 months ago. I had another mc between dd1 and dd2 at 12 weeks whilst abroad which was particularly traumatic (involved an air ambulance!) and I'm a bundle of nerves now. I feel like I owe it to the baby to be excited and assume everything will be fine, but I feel like I could be setting myself up for a massive fall.

I will be poas like a mad thing anyway, agonising over whether lines are getting darker and whether or not the clear blue digital dates agree with mine.

MoonlightMojitos · 01/05/2017 13:02

knorrig you're not in the June due dates bus are you? Just thinking were close in dates :). Not that anyone uses the thread on here anymore but give me a shout if you're on Facebook and want to join our (secret) group. I have found it so invaluable!

35+5 and so happy to be nearing the end now! The final stretch! I have my scan tomorrow to check placenta and baby position so feeling nervous about that, so hoping everything is OK as I really don't want a csec although obviously if that's the only choice then whatever is best for baby will be.

Hope everyone is ok, I find it hard to keep up on here but still lurking.

Miami81 · 01/05/2017 15:39

I spoke too soon. Spotting is back. I am so worried and distracted now, I know there is nothing I can do, it is just all making me so sad though.

INeedNewShoes · 01/05/2017 18:37

Ants - how are you getting on? I think you said today was your due date?

I'm struggling with nasty heartburn but otherwise am feeling pretty good. CS booked for Friday so just a few more days to get the house in good order!

Knorrig - my antenatal group have turned out to be fab. We've got a lovely WhatsApp group running and everyone is so supportive to each other. I hope you find the same support in your group.

Moonlight - good luck for your scan. I'm dealing with CS disappointment but as I've tried everything I can to turn baby it is now the only option so I'm reaching acceptance on it!

Miami - I really feel for you having frequent worries over bleeding. Some women do just seem to bleed a little throughout pregnancy though without it harming the pregnancy so try to remember that. When's your next scan?

WLMcI · 01/05/2017 19:17

Oh Miami I was all pleased for you for about 18 seconds reading the thread Sad I so hope this is just one of those times when everything is fine regardless. Your doctors seem quite good about getting you in for the tests, so I hope they're on top of it!

INeed wow, it's amazing you're going to meet your baby in a few days! Good luck!

I'm 5+4 today and feeling no more pregnant I'm afraid, no real symptoms except indigestion and bleeding gums. But no bad signs either, so I'm holding on to that. As the MWs say, "you are pregnant until you have reason to believe otherwise!" We did have a gorgeous May Day here in Northern Ireland, so I hope everyone else had that today! Lots of outdoor work done and had to be careful not to overdo it!

Thingymaboob · 01/05/2017 19:27

Hi - can I join? I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Just had my first positive pregnancy test. Had a MC last year. Feels different this time. I haven't had any implantation bleeding this time around. My BMI is 30 so bern taking extra folic acid and that. I've lost 1/2 stone since my last mc.

Sweetyboo · 01/05/2017 19:43

What place marking & checking in mean & other words im new to Mumsnet dont understand most of the slang words😞 im pg after 3 m/c & i think im 6weeks today not sure

PTphonehome · 01/05/2017 20:09

Just going to go catch up as not been on for a few weeks.
I'm now 11+6 and have my 12 weeks scan on Thursday. Dh works away and left for 2 weeks this morning so my mum is coming with me.
I really need to stop eating I'm becoming an absolute porker and it can't continue!

knorrig · 01/05/2017 20:30

@MoonlightMojitos no I'm not on an antenatal group on here, I was too worried to join one after the mc's as the hated having to leave it last time. That would be fab to join your Facebook group though, thanks - how do I join.
I've got my 32 week growth scan tomorrow and should hopefully get more of an idea of if I'll need a c section - I might need one due to low placenta that was low at 20 & 28 week scans.

@Miami81 sorry to hear that...again, I hope it's nothing and hate that you have this constant worry. Are you having more tests to see if HCG levels rising?

@Ineednewshoes sorry it's turned out as a CS for you but there are many positives so just focus on those...and how exciting that it's so close now and you know when baby is coming! Is your mums arm better so she can still come and help?

Good luck to all the new joiners in the early phases, I remember how daunting and anxious it can be!
