Ladies thinking to have a bath as its still brown spotting but whats safe? Only water bath or add something?

emvy · 14/06/2017 19:57

So I'm properly bleeding and cramping now. This whole thing was very short lived. Absolutely gutted but knew all along. Going to have ring the gp back again tomorrow and hope for a quick referral and same day scan.

peachgreen · 14/06/2017 20:05

Oh @emvy, I'm so sorry. I really hope you can get an answer soon. Sending you Flowers

Sweetyboo · 14/06/2017 20:05

Add salt in bath yes no??

Sweetyboo · 14/06/2017 20:06

@emvy so sorry to hear im on the edge too

conkerchops · 14/06/2017 20:42

Yes in same boat as you @emvy - bright red bleeding and cramping now too :-( just been out and bought super pads - don't think my EPU will scan me until next week and by then hopefully it will be v obvious what has happened and pregnancy test (which was strong) this am will have turned negative! Even though I tried so hard to attach this time as I was so sure it wouldn't work out I still feel utterly devastated this eve! At least we hadn't told too many people and therefore I don't have that horrible round of untelling to do!

peachgreen · 14/06/2017 20:45

Oh @conkerchops, I'm gutted for you. So so sorry.

conkerchops · 14/06/2017 20:50

Thank you @peach - I'm gutted too - but also relieved that it has happened naturally this time and there is no horrific shock in the scan room as with the last two - I can still feel the horror of both of those times like it happened two minutes ago :-(

CharlieWeasley · 14/06/2017 20:52

Oh envy and conker I'm so sorry. Hope you get some answers soon.

CharlieWeasley · 14/06/2017 20:52

emvy (sorry - stupid autocorrect)

emvy · 14/06/2017 20:54

Oh bless you conker, I really hope it's not too traumatic for you.

I didn't attach myself to this pregnancy at all. I just knew all along. I'm still gutted but whereas last time I felt like I knew my babies, this time I don't really feel like much went on in there at all. No one knew again this time, same as last time. But we will tell close friends and family as their support was amazing last time.

conkerchops · 14/06/2017 21:03

I have told four close friends who have all been awesome - really hard though as one found out she was pregnant just when I had my last miscarriage- and she is v excitedly telling people now! Why does it feel like the whole world finds pregnancy so easy but not for me ? :-(

emvy · 14/06/2017 21:18

Oh my gosh I KNOW. My wonderful friend being one day ahead of me and having a beautiful little 11 month old - when is it my turn? Sad I obviously wouldn't wish this on anyone let alone her and I'm over the moon she had a good scan result today I'm just feeling the same, a bit - why do so many people find this easy and not me? Want a baby, make a baby, get a baby. Wah!

NoParticularPattern · 14/06/2017 21:22

Oh emvy and conker I'm so sorry for you both. I hope you both have plenty of support at home and are taking good care of yourselves. Sending lots and lots of love Flowers

TheLegendOfBeans · 14/06/2017 21:37

why do so many people find this easy and not me? Want a baby, make a baby, get a baby. Wah!

emvy yep, I hear you. I went fucking feral about this when I mc'd August last year, it drove me round the twist for months, like the universe/god/whatever is just going "nah".

I am rooting for you and conker so much to be ok (and for your situation to calm down sweety). X

Sweetyboo · 14/06/2017 21:47

Still getting spots of brown discharge should i be worrying 🤕 TMI But dont knw where to turn who to ask, also some out atiny sticky thing, like a brown clot but WAS NOT a clot cant explain dont know whats going on

JCleRoux · 14/06/2017 21:48

@conkerchops and @emvy I am so so sad 💔

So sorry that you're both bleeding. I really was hoping for a happy ending for you both.

So so sorry Flowers

Pregnancy should not be this stressful. It's so unfair Sad

Sending you both lots of love xx

JCleRoux · 14/06/2017 21:50

@Sweetyboo could it maybe be thrush? Just guessing from what you're describing.

Did you add salts in the end in your bath. Maybe they caused some irritation down below?

Sweetyboo · 14/06/2017 21:53

No @JCleRoux i had plan water bath

beanhunter · 14/06/2017 21:54

@emvy @conker hope your guys are doing ok. Thinking of you both.

JCleRoux · 14/06/2017 22:14

@Sweetyboo I don think know... maybe just keep an eye on it. It's not itchy or anything down below? Could you maybe ring the GP for a quick appointment if it's doesn't ease up?

@TheLegendofbeans I know what you mean. I had a mmc last year August too and it nearly undid me. I genuinely stopped believing that I would ever get pregnant again. And I kept seeing pregnant women every where. I had to get out the train at the wrong stop once, walked to the furtherst corner of the platform to have a small cry because I was feeling so sorry for myself.

AmyB1986 · 14/06/2017 22:18

Hi all hope you're all ok.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry to those who are bleeding and having a rough time.
I've said it lots of times before, bleeding doesn't mean it's the end. I bled heavily with dd1 so there is hope.

One of the ladies I talk to at dd's school noticed my bump today, hugged me and started to cry! She knows what we've been through previously and said she was just so happy she couldn't contain the tears. She's the first person to publicly congratulate us which felt a bit weird.
22 weeks tomorrow, still fretting, anxious and knicker checking/wearing pads. Passed the 21+5 milestone I lost my twins at now, on to reaching viability for us now. 2 more weeks and I know if this baby comes she will have a chance.

mammabear4 · 14/06/2017 22:47

Wow the thread has moved so quickly!!

Sending love to those with bleeding and cramps really really hope you're doing ok Flowers

Congrats to all with positive scan news! miami so pleased for you - you directed me to this thread and I remember all the anxiety you've had with bleeding in the past. So that's great news. So bizarre that some women just get random spotting it's like the universe is trying to torture us especially when we're on hyper alert.

Sweety I've had in total 3 random gushes of red blood so far in this pregnancy, one actually today after carrying my tired 2yo what felt about 3 miles on a dog walk (I'm 10+5 now) and sounds so similar to what you've been through, quite watery but what seems like a significant amount - it's scary!! I've also had lots of browny CM after and passed a couple of brown blobs so I know what you mean - not clots but again still can be so worrying. I've had 4 scans now and all absolutely fine. My last scan showed a hematoma caused by bruising at implantation on the side of one of the sacs close to the entrance of my uterus - I wonder if you possibly have something similar? Will be thinking of you at your scan tomorrow xx

emvy · 15/06/2017 07:45

It's good to hear that some of you have had worrying symptoms that turned out to be nothing. I know in my heart, however, that that isn't me. It's heavier than a period now. I'm passing large clots. Will hopefully speak with the doctor later and update you all but it looks like my time with you guys was only short lived. Let's hope next time is a bit more successful! If I was worried about miscarrying again before, well now... SadAngry

Best of luck to all you wonderful, strong ladies and all your little wriggling beans. I hope the next time I speak to you it will be back here when you're all comfortably into your third trimesters or mummies 💕 Thank you for all your support and best of luck for your 12 week scan sweety x

mammabear4 · 15/06/2017 08:00

@emvy oh no I am so, so sorry that you're going through this. I really hope you can get booked in quickly and get a definite answer about what's happening. Sending hugs Flowers
