So sorry stealth. Take good care of yourself, hope you've got some good support.

Good luck miami everything crossed for you today.

Sorry you're not feeling great say is it worth a GP appointment? Check it's not a urine infection or something?

TheLegendOfBeans · 22/05/2017 11:08

Ah jeez stealth I'm sorry x

SayItIsntSo1 · 22/05/2017 11:50

So sorry Stealth. I hope we see you back here soon.

Grain I've booked Drs for this afternoon so hoping they can give me some indication of whether they can do anything or it's just pregnancy woes. Think I've felt baby moving around in there this morning a few times so trying to keep my head straight and not jump straight in to catasrophes.

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 22/05/2017 12:43

So so sorry for your loss @Stealthtoast 😞 Really hope you have someone around you you can lean on if you have to.

Did they say anything about whether you'll need further checks / management or do they think your body has managed it naturally?

Miami81 · 22/05/2017 12:58

Oh @Stealthtoast I am so sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself in the next while.

peachgreen · 22/05/2017 15:33

Hi ladies, newbie here, graduating from the TTC after miscarriage thread. Currently 4+2 (going by ovulation date, 4+5 going by LMP), my first BFP since a MMC at 11.5 weeks back in October. Trying to stay positive and zen, especially as it's so early, but twitching at every little cramp. I'm 32 (with PCOS) and DH is 39 and we've been TTC for almost 2 years in total.

@stealth, I'm so, so sorry for your loss and I really hope you're back here soon. x

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 22/05/2017 16:43

@peachgreen I know exactly what you mean - don't think I'll ever feel relaxed again! Good luck Smile

Miami81 · 22/05/2017 17:22

Scan all ok today ladies. Measuring 3 days ahead and all good.
We even got a wee limb bud wave at 9 weeks. Very exciting times.
Hi @peachgreen welcome. Stay strong we are all here for you.

peachgreen · 22/05/2017 17:24

@Miami81 I'm SO pleased everything is going so well for you after following your TTC journey x

Miami81 · 22/05/2017 17:39

Thanks peachgreen it feels really surreal that we have officially made it three whole weeks in development terms then we ever have before. It feels like massive progress.
The next few weeks will be tough for you as I am sure you will know, just try and take each day as it comes. My cousin who has been through an awful lot (mc's, chemicals and a twin stillbirth) suggests downloading series of books on kindle, keep your phone away from you at night, try not to google every twinge and try to distract yourself as much as possible. And also congratulate yourself on the completion of every day. She has two babies after all that trauma and is so levelheaded about it all, she is basically my hero.

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 22/05/2017 18:35

That's great Miami Smile Glad all is well

theotherendofthesockportal · 22/05/2017 18:44

So happy to hear your news @Miami81!

Welcome @peachgreen, it's a friendly crowd here!

@Stealthtoast my thoughts are with you 💐

mammabear4 · 22/05/2017 18:47

Ah so so sorry for your loss stealth really hope to see you back on here soon.

Miami that's great news on your scan and your cousin sounds amazing, think I could do with taking a leaf or two out of her book! I've had on and off bleeding so far in this pregnancy and every time it is such a horrid sinking feeling in the gut, the stress never gets easier does it.

I've got a scan booked in tomorrow morning 8.20 to check on the bleed I had thurs night, could do with downloading a good book to keep my mind distracted tonight if anyone has any suggestions??

Miami81 · 22/05/2017 18:51

Mammabear
I have had three bleeds so far this pregnancy, so please try and stay as positive as you can.
I read the latest Ian rankin which I enjoyed. Karen rose has many books in a series. I enjoyed the Shetland series by Anne cleaves (I think) as well. So basically kind of thriller ones for me.

mammabear4 · 22/05/2017 18:58

Thanks Miami I do love a good thriller, will check out the new Ian Rankin, sounds promising 👍

SayItIsntSo1 · 22/05/2017 19:26

Congratulations Miami! Really pleased for you.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Mamma.

My Drs appointment was fairly uneventful, she wants send off samples and check I don't have any underlying infections. She said my urine sample was 'inconclusive' but there are white cells in it... I'm thinking it's the joys of pregnancy and not much more but an infection may help explain why I've still been feeling so rough the last few weeks. It took her an age to find babies heartbeat with the doppler. I was just starting to think about panicking even though 30 minutes earlier his kicks were strong enough to make my belly move Hmm

WLMcI · 23/05/2017 07:41

peachgreen I'm so pleased to see you here!!! Holding your hand through the whole first loooonnnnng wait until the scan Smile

Fabulous news Miami!

mammabear I hope the scan is all good as the previous one was! Paula Hawkins was on radio 2 bookclub last night (she wrote The Girl On the Train) so if you like thrillers her new one might be good. It's called On the Water or something like that. I'm currently indulging in the Outlander series (books, not TV, although Jamie as seen on TV is almost exactly as I had pictured him and that's very rewarding Grin!)

mammabear4 · 23/05/2017 10:08

Everything absolutely perfect!! Two healthy babies and two strong heartbeats 😊💓💓 and we got a picture this time!!

Amazing @mammabear4 !!! So exciting!! Smile

SayItIsntSo1 · 23/05/2017 12:14

Great news mamma!

peachgreen · 23/05/2017 12:21

@Miami81 Thank you for the advice

Sweetyboo · 23/05/2017 14:12

Congrats @mammabear4 so happy for you.

lightgreenglass · 23/05/2017 16:55

Congratulations mammabear and welcome to anyone who's recently joined.

I had my 16 week cardiac and anomaly scan today - heart looks perfectly normal and hb was within the normal range this time so yay. But then at my anomaly scan the baby's femur is measuring below the 5th percentile but everything else looks great. I just can't catch a break. Will know more at the 22 week scan. Grr.

Hazandduck · 23/05/2017 17:25

@Miami and @mama, I started a reading challenge on the Good Reads app to distract myself as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Set myself a target of 50 books in a year and it is an excellent way to keep myself from over-googling and helping me to fall asleep instead of staring at a little screen all night. I would definitely recommend reading as the best distraction, it takes you away from your own reality in a way that a TV show can't because there is always the temptation to quickly look on your phone or iPad when you are sat in front of the telly. X

Hazandduck · 23/05/2017 17:26

Also stealth I am so sorry for your loss, just catching up on the thread backwards.

Congratulations on your scan Mama.
