Continuing the thread for ladies who are pregnant after MC

nouser I was exactly the same with movements at that stage, had started to feel some and then went a whole weekend without feeling anything. It is very normal at that stage (though I did end up going to the midwives to check the hb, which they were very happy to do btw). I have an anterior placenta and even now at 24 weeks I have days where I only feel a few subtle kicks, whereas other days I'm being frequently booted all over the place.

northdownmummy · 19/08/2015 09:38

cloud yes yes yes to the nationwide as about the scarf on the bus. Gets me blubbing every single time, much to my husbands amusement.

Thanks everyone

And cheers Tftpoo I may have to take you up on that!!

Nousername2015 · 19/08/2015 10:06

Thanks everyone. It is my first cloud and I've got a couple of close friends also pregnant which for me both raises the stakes and means I'm making endless comparisons! It's just leapfrogging from one thing to worry about to another... Have now booked a private gender scan for next week though but still feels ages away!

Thanks to whoever reminded me about bake off, brain is a sieve now so totally would have forgotten. Bread week is my favourite one too.

Good luck for the scan today baby

brickiemum2 · 19/08/2015 10:22

Just a heads up ladies that many of you are on the list of hacked usernames and passwords. If you use these passwords for anything important please go change them.

MsGlitterJunkie · 19/08/2015 10:36

Thanks for posting that link brickie was wondering where to find it!

Good luck baby really hope everything goes well today.

Great news re: twins mummy so exciting!

melonface · 19/08/2015 10:38

Thanks Brickie. mine has already been changed and isn't used for anything important. can't see as I'm on my phone but am I on the list?

Babytinx11 · 19/08/2015 11:24

So had my scan they found a large sac to early to see anything in it so back.in a week for another scan but it is in the right place :) so I am off home hormones are back nearly 3x what they were last time so quite high for.the stage I am.actually at but that has to be a good sign doesn't it?

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 11:30

Baby that sounds like a great sign, how many weeks are you?

I was on the list but have changed mine already, thanks brickie

Melon if you open the list on your phone and then search the page for your username, you can do this on an iphone - not sure about other phones.

brickiemum2 · 19/08/2015 11:40

baby !!!!! Excellent news, just excellent. I have everything crossed for you.

Metalhead · 19/08/2015 12:00

Great news baby, that sounds really positive! Fx everything will work out well in the end.

bythesea82 · 19/08/2015 12:01

baby what a relief, will be keeping everything crossed for next week.
brickie thanks for the list, have now updated my password.
mummy twins?! Exciting times!

Happy to hear others cry at the scarf on the bus advert, I can't get through it and DH mocks me all the time for it!!

So 33 weeks and everything feeling a bit different, movements more squirmy, more pain in pelvis/back/bottom of bump. Guess this is all normal?!

Babytinx11 · 19/08/2015 12:22

Not sure how many weeks it can't be more than about 4 should they be able to see something in the sac next week? I am so relieved just wish mil would hurry up

melonface · 19/08/2015 12:51

Sounds like great news baby!

mrsdiddlydoo · 19/08/2015 13:02

Great news baby!

And thanks for the list brickie

MsGlitterJunkie · 19/08/2015 13:41

Must have been such a relief baby to see the sac in the right place and to know your HCG is rising. If you're only about 4 weeks then it's really unlikely that they will be able to see anything, I was told 5 weeks onwards is when they expect to be able to see a yolk sack and maybe a fetal pole but it really does vary from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. Fingers and toes crossed they see something next week.

Marchgirl · 19/08/2015 14:04

So glad it's good news baby. Hoping for more progress at the next scan. Btw,did you know your user details are on the list? Just so you can make sure your password is changed

Nousername2015 · 19/08/2015 14:05

What a positive outcome baby, that must be such a relief.

ToesAndFingersCrossed · 19/08/2015 14:06

Hi, can I join in quietly?

I've been having IVF and got pregnant in January only to miscarry at around 9 weeks. Have been letting everything settle down a bit, and just had another round a few weeks ago. I found out from the clinic today that I'm pregnant again, and I think I am as happy as I am terrified. It's a whole 3 weeks wait until they will do a scan, they say there isn't much point before 7 weeks.

melonface · 19/08/2015 15:23

Welcome toes and sorry for your loss earlier this year. wishing you an uneventful 9 months.

I went to the midwife today after my bit of pink spotting on Sunday and all is fine, got to hear baby's heartbeat again which makes me so happy!

Babytinx11 · 19/08/2015 15:53

Thanks guys yea it was a huge relief Smile no marchgirl I didn't know but it might explain why I had to change my password earlier

Marchgirl · 19/08/2015 17:08

I think they are making everyone change as i had to a well, but if you have the same password for any un-mn things then definitely worth changing them. Don't know what this loser thinks he's going to gain by having mn. What a knob.

Welcome toes and congratulations. Wishing you a boring 8 months ahead Grin

dobbythedoggy · 19/08/2015 17:56

Just checking in.

A bit more relaxed since my appointment with the consultant on monday, worlds shortest appointment, in and out in less than a minute. Just to talk about options for a vbac or second elcs, which I'd already discussed at length with my midwife. All being well should be able to try for a vbac. Have to see him again for a scan at 35 weeks. I had been under the impression I wasn't due to see him until 20 weeks plus, so with the bits of spotting I had earlier on I had been worrying about the appointment.

Hoping to feel up to letting the ils know this weekend or next week. Hoping dh will step up and tell mil over the phone so I don't have to deal with reactions face to face, and she can be asked to keep it out of conversation. But he thinks she'll be so happy it should be done face to face showing off scan pictures or for her to take copies to show to all and sundry. He doesn't quite get how unsettled that makes me feel mentally.

12 weeks today so almost out of the first trimester. Hoping that morning sickness will die down a bit, but sods law, after not feeling too bad last week I've been really struggling with feeling sick the last few days. Heart burn and indigestion really don't help matters. Nor does my mouth mouth tasting like I've been sucking pennies.

Congratulations mummy, my dad's one of twins, my grandma had quite a surprise coming home with 2 babies. She ended up with 3 under 18 months...

So pleased things are looking more positive baby fingers crossed for more good news for you.

Welcome toes.

MrsR84 · 19/08/2015 19:04

Firstly, I apologise if this upsets anyone, as my intention is the complete opposite - to give hope to those who are feeling the same way I was not very long ago.

Some of you may remember me from last July, when I was here trying to deal with my feelings after suffering an 11 week missed miscarriage with our first attempt at pregnancy.

Well, I'm pleased to announce that our rainbow, Daniel, arrived on the 20th of last month (a year and 5 days after our loss, in the same hospital), happy & healthy after a really (physically) easy pregnancy & birth, despite CRUSHING anxiety from the moment I peed on that stick to the second he took his first breath - miscarriage, cord accidents, stillbirth, they were all I thought about, I drove myself half crazy counting the kicks!

We still don't know what happened with our first, but if you're trying again please take heart in knowing that it CAN work out in the end & know that I'm sending positive thoughts to all of you who are trying again.
