Hi all, not posted for a while but been checking in to see how you're all doing. Had my 20 week scan yesterday (at 19+1) and all looking good. Still feeling very few movements, but felt reassured by the scan and seeing lots of wriggling around. Feels like a milestone and am hoping I might start to relax and enjoy it now! Not bought anything yet and not planning on buying anything big until October, but may treat myself to a few bits. We decided not to find out the sex, so lots of white sleep suits I think!

Congratulations on the positive scans and welcome to all the newbies. Thinking of you tinx.

Babytinx11 · 18/08/2015 12:13

Well doctor has been around :( if nothing shows on tomorrows scan I have two choices wait until Friday for more bloods and another scan or they will assess me for either drugs or surgery to end the pregnancy as it will be classed as a pregnancy of unknown location :( feeling totally lost at the moment

Nousername2015 · 18/08/2015 12:47

baby So sorry to hear that you are under so much stress. You don't have to make a decision until tomorrow's scan is done, I'll keep fingers crossed for you that it is good news tomorrow.

Babytinx11 · 18/08/2015 12:59

Thankyou I really don't know how to feel at the moment just hoping for a good.outcome tomorrow

Congrats on all the good scan news, and how scary/exciting to see two beans mummy!

Sorry you're still in limbo baby, I hope the scan tomorrow brings you some answers.

melonface · 18/08/2015 19:40

FX for good news for you soon baby

mummy that's so exciting! congratulation!

Nousername2015 · 18/08/2015 20:34

tootle I missed your post, congrats on the scan! It must be a load off your mind.

Shitty day here today. Found out that someone from work who had her baby in July lost her at the weekend to meningitis. Just so so sad, she's been on my mind all day.

After stressing about heartbeat have now moved onto stressing about movement. I thought I was feeling something last week (although I've no idea what its supposed to be like) but felt literally sweet fa since Friday. I'm 18w tomorrow but it feels like everyone at this stage is getting kicks! I know I need to be patient and I have no idea where my placenta is, but you also can't help thinking the worst.
Sorry for the 'all about me' post, just needed to vent a crappy day.

Mummyofonesofar · 18/08/2015 20:46

Scary but exciting Grin

Tftpoo · 18/08/2015 21:06

Wow mummy that's amazing! I have twin boys and remember so well getting the news at the scan! How do you feel? I was in shock for quite a while before it sunk in.

Thinking of you baby, I really hope everything is ok for you.

Mummyofonesofar · 18/08/2015 21:11

Tft in complete shock. I don't know...just anything about how to cope with 2 babies!!

mrsdiddlydoo · 18/08/2015 21:13

mummy!!! Wow and congratulations.

baby hope you are hanging on in there.

nouser I wasn't feeling much around 18 weeks. Try not to worry. It's only been the last few days things feel a bit more regular for me at nearly 23 weeks. How awful about your colleague Sad

Great scan news tootle

Tftpoo · 18/08/2015 21:18

You will cope mummy, it's amazing what you're capable of. If you want to PM me on anything twins and twin pregnancy related, then please do. I hope you have a relatively stress free pregnancy from now on - there are loads more checks and scans with twins.

northdownmummy · 18/08/2015 21:57

Just cried cause I realised its only Tuesday and that means bake off isn't on

Bloody hormones :-(

Treaclepie19 · 18/08/2015 22:37

Nouser, I was a late one for movements.
Didn't feel much at all until 22 weeks so try not to worry (I know it's impossible) :)

Pandapops8 · 19/08/2015 06:04

Thinking of you baby

Wowsers mummy how exciting!!

cloudjumper · 19/08/2015 08:47

nouser Please don't worry - movements are very random, there is no hard and fast rules! With DS, I didn't feel anything until 22 weeks. Maybe you have really strong abs? That can prevent movements from being felt, like a million other things. Is this your first baby? Honestly, it's all fine!

north Haha, I totally understand! I cry at everything these days, especially stupid adverts (Lloyd's black horse advert, anyone? Or the bank one, where the dad leaves the scarf on the bus?), it is so embarrassing. I have not yet reached the pit like with DS, when I bawled at a flippin' Jamie Oliver cooking programme, but I reckon it's just a matter of time. We saw 'Inside Out' last week, and at one point I was stifling proper sobs Blush Bloody hormones.
