40+3 today and very impatient

Is anyone else overdue and feeling fed up waiting for our little ones to arrive? Had a sweep done on sunday morning and was in pain all day, was sure it was the beginning but nope still no sign, being gradually losing my plug since sunday night also.

Still nothing! Is it normal to still be losing what i think is my plug since sunday? I keep getting paranoid about my waters aswel lol

I only started to lose my plug yesterday but it has definitely been a gradual thing and not all in one go so I guess it's quite normal.

Hope things start moving for you soon!

Ds1 came at 40+7 but it seems very unlikely I will be going into labour tonight...MW couldn't even reach my cervix to do a sweep this morning :-(

Feeling down and dreading the idea of a weekend of trying to entertain my toddler son for 13 hours per day...!

(I should add, no BHs, no plug loss here, nothing. Nada. Not a sausage).

I did warn u num2 lol still no progress here, not a thing!! Hes still very active tho moving constantly all day but other than that nothin!

Ah don't panic Scottish - labour is not so bad. I found it ok, anyway. And my first ds was a bruiser (9lb4oz!).

I am pretty confident of my dates - although based on my last period I would actually have been due on Sunday 26th July, but at my 12 week scan they moved my date forward 2 days, to Friday 24th...

So maybe I am actually only 5 days late, not 7?? >

Have been for a 25 minute walk round the park this morning. Had sex last night. Ordering a mega hot and delicious Thai curry for dinner tonight and will enjoy it with a lovely relaxing ice cold beer :-). Nothing more i can do really, is there?!?

Woke up this morning and was sick 3 times, feel like poo but i think im also gettin the beginnings of a cold thanks to my OH lookin forward to this sweep tomoro and hopefully bookin an induction!

Ooh Scottish I've heard that a cold could indicate imminent labour!

Bot is right that labour really isn't so bad and the moment you hold your baby in your arms you forget everything anyway!

Bot, your day sounds a lot like mine. Convinced DH that sex would not harm the baby and went for a nice walk in the sun with my toddler in the buggy this morning. Had Vietnamese food for lunch and now drinking raspberry leaf tea.

I also think my due date might be a day after the one given at my scan too so poss only 2 days overdue really.

Come on babies! You have to get here eventually

We went for a scan at 6 weeks as i found out at 4 weeks i was pregnant and as its our first baby my OH was paranoid, at the scan there was literally just a heartbeat and he was the size of a grain of rice and as she couldnt tell much she estimated a due date of 3rd august! Im beginning to think she wad more accurate than my 12week official date of 25th july lol

Do you know when you ovulated? I did as was tracking and always have 27 day cycles so was pretty confident. Even by my dates I'm still overdue though!

I did at the time but cant remember all that now lol baby needs to hurry i cant cope with this heat and being pregnant lol

Hey there! I am also 6 days over! My own dates were for yesterday right enough but still, ready to get this baby out! Went for a sweep today (aka a fisting) but no twinges really so far!

Yeah I got a 3 so not amazing! Even tried sex this morning egads! Unsexiest sex of my life!

2nd sweep done and i am in the worst pain espec my lower back, extremely grumpy now. Induction booked for monday, she had thurs but i asked for sooner! I want to cry but dnt want to ruin my eyelashes

Hey Scottish - back pain after the sweep might be a good sign? Might mean that things get going on their own before your induction appointment on Monday?

Oh can I have join too. Even though am actually only 40 + 2 and always thought baby would be late, I am so fed up of being pregnant. Booked for sweep on Tuesday (gulp). Just been for walk (waddle) round the park to try and get things moving. Had the odd period like cramps but never turns into anything. Trying to be patient but feel so uncomfortable and hot I just want baby out and in my arms. Think will suggest curry for tea!

Welcome Kbro. You sound like the rest of us! I have another sweep on Tuesday and will then be booked in for induction. Want to hold off as long as possible though.

Hey again guys, I've made it to 41 weeks today and kind of feel like this baby is never going to come... Couldn't have a sweep on Fri as my bump hasn't grown so now we've got a growth scan tomorrow instead. Am so fed up with walking, bouncing and eating spicey food. I never thought the end of pregnancy would be this hard!

Can I join in? :) I'm 40+1 today and time is dragging! From about 30 weeks they were talking of early induction but now I'm being left to go into labour naturally so it feels like time is going v v slowly now! I can't even get a midwife appointment for a sweep anytime soon...Grrrrr!

In hospital at the moment been avin contractions since 3, fuck me they hurt. Had a pefedine jab and just waitin about now for labour
