Thank you BadgieBear Smile
I have a very lovely and supportive DP who is being wonderful, despite this being such a crazy situation. I have finally given in and I am letting him come to my scan today. My boss is also being incredibly understanding and she is just worried about me more than anything which is lovely considering the implications and how long I could be off for etc. She also hasn't pushed me for exactly what is going on which is really nice of her x

just read this and wanted to add another BEST BEST LUCK for you. you sound incredibly strong and must be an amazing person as there is not even a hint of the "why me's?" that I would have in your situation. whether it can be this little bean or whether it's another one day, they will be lucky to have such a caring mum.

really really hoping for good news and thinking of you.

AllThatGlistens · 07/07/2015 11:49

Just caught up with this, my word what an absolute roller coaster you are on at the mo!

Wishing you all the very best, and glad to hear your Dh will be with you Flowers

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 07/07/2015 12:41

Oh I am so sad for you! :(

scarednoob · 07/07/2015 15:56

really sad to hear this. I had my hopes pinned on the 30% for you. one step at a time - get the op out of the way first and then you can start to deal with things.

what a cruel rollercoaster of emotions for you. life is an absolute bitch sometimes.

brickiemum2 · 07/07/2015 16:11

So sad to hear it turned out this way Sad Wish there was anything positive to say but it would just sound trite.

Roseybee10 · 07/07/2015 16:18

I'm so sorry. Xx

RattleAndRoll · 07/07/2015 16:22

I'm so sorry to read this wickedwitch.
Thanks X

moggiek · 07/07/2015 18:06

Truly sorry, wicked.

PotOfYoghurt · 07/07/2015 19:35

Oh wicked, I'm so sorry. I hope the op goes as well as it can on Thursday. How cruelly unfair life can be at times, amongst the wonderful things it can bring. I hope there will be far more of the latter for you in the future.

MrsGentlyBenevolent · 07/07/2015 19:44

I'm so sorry, you read like an amazing person and had hoped for a happy ending for you on the journey, honesty. Hope life brings you something amazing after this, as it will be much deserved xx

eggsnbeans · 07/07/2015 21:13

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 08/07/2015 10:27

Oh wicked, I read the full thread this morning and with each click to the next page I was hoping for good news. I'm so sorry to hear the outcome and wish you well. Flowers Brew

NeuroticFox1 · 08/07/2015 12:24

So sorry to hear that, take care of yourself xx

SunflowerSmile · 09/07/2015 13:14

So sorry that it wasn't good news. In case it helps, an Internet stranger is thinking of you on the other side of the world. I have been in a similar position and at times I would wake at 4am for nights on end and feel so alone. I am thinking of you and please be kind to yourself. One day at a time is all you need to focus on.

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 09/07/2015 13:27

I'm thinking of you so much wickedwitch. I wish the outcome had been better. Fingers crossed you recover well and you and your DP are ready to face whatever you decide to do next. I'm currently 23wks after 5 years of nothing, and as you say yourself, you are NOT broken. Much support to you. Flowers

Wisteria1979 · 09/07/2015 20:34

Hope today went as well as it could given the circumstances. Flowers

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 10/07/2015 06:24

Currently recovering ok after yesterdays surgery.
Didn't find out until a fair bit later on that they had to remove one of my tubes, I'm struggling to let that sink in atm.

Thank you all for thinking about me Flowers

Huge hugs wicked how bloody Shit and unfair it all is Sad You seem like such a grounded, wise person with such a lot of love to give. As said upthread I truly hope that you can one day have your dreams come true, whether it's biologically or to a child in desperate need of someone like you. Flowers
