... After a horrible round of IVF that nearly killed me, an early miscarriage several months later and then 5 years of absolutely nothing.

This has just happened today. I am utter shock Shock

CuppaSarah I just assumed my period was, as per usual, playing silly buggers! I was congratulating my friend on her surprise pregnancy and she was asking me how I felt etc and I had literally said the words to her, I've made my peace with never getting pregnant - and something willed me to test, I honestly don't know what. When the faint line appeared I burst into tears and hugged my dog. The ClearBlue has been my forth test since last night ahem

TheWildRumpyPumpus He is as shocked as me, we are both struggling to take it in. I have this week been signing forms to donate my frozen embryos (IVF with a previous partner) to training and research so as you can imagine, this is pretty unexpected!

Congratulations! I'm 25 weeks with a total surprise after years of secondary infertility, fertility treatment and miscarriage. I still can't believe it sometimes. I know it's a cliché but one day at a time Grin
