Thought I'd do an update for anyone that's interested. EPU called and reminded me that it had been 2 weeks and I had to take a test to make sure it was negative.

Just took said test... It was an immediate, strong positive! Going to EPU tomorrow, absolutely terrified it's an ectopic or something retained - but what if it isn't? I don't even know what to think!.

Oh my goodness. I've just read through your thread and went from being delighted for you, then sorry for the bad news and now..maybe hopeful after all? What a tough time for you.

Really wish you all the best and will be keeping everything crossed for you. Flowers

Eminado · 02/07/2015 14:17

Oh wow!!! I am praying for you wish you all the luck in the world.

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 02/07/2015 14:28

Thank you so much everyone.

I honestly don't know what to think. I'm trying to stay positive but given the last two weeks, anything can happen. Will definitely update tomorrow morning after scan.
I'm so confused by the fact my bloods went down to 157 thou?! How could I possibly be testing a strong positive over two weeks later?

Badgerface How is your little miracle coming along if you don't mind me asking Smile

SunflowerSmile · 02/07/2015 14:36

Thinking of you -fingers and toes crossed

BadgerFace · 02/07/2015 14:51

12 week scan tomorrow so fingers crossed, thanks for asking!

I don't know anything about blood results but really hoping it was a freak low number for you and a happy outcome tomorrow. You deserve it!

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 02/07/2015 15:00

Oh wow, I shall be thinking of you, please let me know how it goes Smile

Just spoke to hospital, they said they will need to do a blood test which means I won't have an answer in the morning as they do the results early evening, but I might push for a scan? Just in case, just this once they can see something.
I'm hoping it was just a random number and it started going up without me realising!

This is awesome! Brightened up my day. Congratulations to you and you DP. Wishing you a very uneventful 9 months Flowers

BadgerFace · 02/07/2015 16:40

Yes, I would try and get a scan if I were you wicked. How many weeks do you think you would be? It might be an internal scan so be ready for that (although as you have done IVF in the past you will be an old hand at that!). I am sure they will offer you one in any case given the circumstances.

Here's hoping to your miracle. Smile

worriedmum100 · 02/07/2015 16:40

Hi wicked I would push for a scan. How far along would you be now?

I really hesitate to write this but I had a strong positive 2 weeks after I had an ERPC following a missed miscarriage. It was because of retained 'products' and they were only able to detect that on a scan.

I really hope it's good news for you x

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 02/07/2015 17:04

Badgerface I'd be 8 weeks + 5 I think? Going by LMP
Me and internal scans are old chums, fear not but thank you Smile

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 02/07/2015 17:09

worriedmum I am worried it might be that tbh, or an ectopic, or a blighted ovum (or anything but a baby Sad) because I only bled very briefly for about an hour after they told me my levels had dropped.Just spoke to them, they said they will need to do a blood test which means I won't even have an answer in the morning :(
All they could see on the last scan was a really thickened womb lining so I expected hell to rush forth when it started, so my first thought was retained product.
Thank you so much for your honesty, it helps to hear different stories and I'm sorry for what you went thru Flowers
