How lovely! Congratulations Flowers

Crumbelina · 13/06/2015 09:17

Oooh, I love this! Congratulations, I'm so happy for you!

We struggled for 2 years (which in no way compares to you) and it was a massive shock to get a BFP. We're currently renovating a wreck of a house ourselves and I'm 21 weeks. Not the best timing but I take it day by day and it'll work out somehow. So scary and exciting!!

Bosabosa · 13/06/2015 11:52

What great news! Such a miracle! I am also early in pregnancy (BFP on Tuesday) and i have my fingers crossed for you as well as me ;-)

Littlefrenchmummy · 13/06/2015 15:39

Amazing ! Keep us updated how you get on!! X

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 14/06/2015 12:08

Wow. Thank you all SO much. Massive congratulations to everyone who has got their own recent BFPs and everyone who has made it that little bit further Flowers
For anyone who is on their own journey TTC, I am one of those women who they literally wrote off, when I told my fertility consultant about my original spontaneous pregnancy, he was in absolute shock. I have NO idea how I've managed a second time, but I really hope this one sticks!

Due to my history, I'm under the care of my EPU, they couldn't see anything on Fri, but my womb lining is super thick (23.5mm I think) and they took my bloods and said it was what they would expect for a normal early pregnancy and I have a scan booked on Tues, as they estimate my levels will have reached the needed level Smile

I'll keep this thread updated. Thank you all for your well wishes again xx

That's amazing news big congrats :-)

MuddyWellyNelly · 14/06/2015 21:43

OP I wish you the very very best of luck. I'm currently nearly 34 weeks with a donor egg pregnancy after 4 years of trying, both naturally and through IVF, with own eggs. I was definitely a write-off, and have glibly been telling DH we won't need to worry about contraception after the bump arrives. Maybe I better reassess that plan Grin.

So incredibly happy for you, but I know how scary these early weeks can be. Hope things look good at your first scan.

Bair · 14/06/2015 22:54

Congratulations!

Another write off sitting here with a 30 week bump. Wishing you an uneventful and happy pregnancy and birth.

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 16/06/2015 21:37

Sadly I don't have great news - they still couldn't find anything on my scan, they've taken my bloods and I should hopefully know a bit more tomorrow.

I'm clinging to the fact I could just be less pregnant than I thought, rather than what is more likely, an ectopic. I don't have any bleeding or pain so I'm crossing my fingers for good news tomorrow.

Thank you all again Flowers

Congratulations. My older sister and I are fertility drug babies, my younger brother and sister were happy surprises....

MuddyWellyNelly · 17/06/2015 13:17

Wickedwitch I'm very sad to read your update. What did the bloods show? Fingers crossed it's just too early but I know it's hard to stay optimistic.

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 17/06/2015 13:26

Still waiting! They were too busy yesterday and I phoned up earlier, when they told me to and they were busy again and said "I was on the list and would have to sit tight and wait" Sad

wickedwitchofwaterloo · 17/06/2015 13:44

I'm just trying to keep myself busy, I feel like they aren't going to get back to me until this evening as that's the time they usually call back Hmm

Sad news I'm afraid. Levels have halved since last week so think it's going to be another no go Sad

Thanks to everyone who wished me well, it was exciting for a little while, at least x
