Hurrah brummie! Topsy I'm still worried at 34wks, I'm sorry to say, my focus of worry just changes! I'm not bizarrely that scared of pain and of labour, I should be but its so much the unknown - I'm scared something will hurt the baby and still find it hard to believe I'll bring a little boy home!

cavamonster · 12/06/2015 23:54

Lovely news brummie

little everyone keeps asking me about labour and am I scared cos that will help but at the moment I am purely worried about is the baby ok or will the baby be ok when they arrive.

28week appointment, measured fine, hb they said was good and urine test fine. Consultant said everything was extremely normal and average!

Boozle80 · 13/06/2015 17:52

Awesome news Brummie, bet it was such a wonderful feeling

Treaclepie19 · 13/06/2015 20:23

Can I ask a bit of a tmi question?
Have had more discharge than normal anyway but noticed some trickled out earlier and pants were quite wet. Put on a pad after to monitor and all has seemed okay, pad not wet just still wet down there.
Sound normal? I'd really rather not ring for advice if I don't need to.

I'm 9 weeks treacle and that has been a pretty constant feature for me so far this time.

Treaclepie19 · 13/06/2015 21:33

Yeah I think it's probably normal...
Rang midwife just to check as it was more like a leak this time, waiting for a call back.

brickiemum2 · 13/06/2015 22:52

Yeah, mine does that too. Have to change my underwear sometimes lol Blush

Treaclepie19 · 13/06/2015 23:16

Yeah, I've had a pad on today to monitor.
Going through another anxiety spell at the moment I think!

treacle possible tmi but I've been wearing liners since 6 weeks for exactly the same thing. I've been getting 'gushing' feelings too like you described every so often. Frantic googling later (I know...) and it appears to be one of the very unglamorous symptoms of pregnancy and pretty common.

Brummiegirl15 · 14/06/2015 08:17

Treacle I'm wet all the time and have to keep dashing to the loo to check!

Boozle80 · 14/06/2015 08:20

Yup, I had that and was convinc d it was the end on a daily basis, it did stop around 15 weeks and has just returned now I'm near the end. Pregnancy is rock and roll, so glamorous ;)

Treaclepie19 · 14/06/2015 08:56

Thanks ladies, I thought by 26 weeks it might have calmed down!
Hey Ho.

Hi ladies can I join? I'm 10+1 on third oregnancy .... 1 18yr old DS and 1 Mmc in dec last year at 9 weeks (baby didn't grow past 5)

I've had 2 early scans 1 at 6+4 and one at 8+3 .... All seemed perfectly healthy!!

Joining in for the support .... DH doesn't really understand my worry!! He says he just knows that this baby is the one!!! Every single day is a milestone in my eyes!

broodylicious · 14/06/2015 11:01

Welcome mrsfazSmile

treacle, I went through a phase of that probably around the same time. Mine though was more because my pelvic floor muscles were shit so I was literally leaking weeBlushBlush Couldn't sneeze, cough or move suddenly without leaking. So so so embarrassing at 36 yrs old!! Since then I've been doing my kegels every day and no more escapes.... As yet!

Treaclepie19 · 14/06/2015 14:15

Oh no broody! Luckily ivI'I've managed to get this far with no accidents, will keep up my exercises and hope it continues.

Welcome Mrsfaz :)

Brilliant news Brummie.

Treacle - yes, normal in my experience too.

Welcome *mrsfazruns. May your stay be long and uneventful!

Gr33dyeggs · 14/06/2015 17:50

Welcome mrsfazruns I hope you have a boring 7 months with us!
I'm shattered today. I did a couple of hours driving yesterday and then next door were chatting in the garden til 2.30 am so had broken sleep too.
The house is a tip but I can't be arsed. And its takeaway for tea.
Tomorrow is scan day and I'm busy in work b4 due to short staffing - I guess it will keep my mind occupied!

Topsy34 · 14/06/2015 21:38

Welcome mrsfaz congrats, hope nothing exciting happens!

Definate yes to the disacharge, yuk. Im sure it was like this with ds Confused

On a very happy happy note, i think i just felt a kick!

Zeuxippe · 15/06/2015 07:55

Happy Monday everyone! Hello to all the newbies.

Congrats brummie on the positive scan and good luck Gr33dy for yours today!

Counting down the days till our dating scan - only 8 days to wait!!

mrsdiddlydoo · 15/06/2015 07:57

Welcome mrsfaz

12 week scan this afternoon. Dh is coming. And DS because we've no childcare available. At least I know its on the maternity ward not epuepu with possibly mc ladies. Bit scary. Haven't got this far for what feels like an age. Have felt dreadful all weekend which has to be a good sign. Bit eek about the fact dh will want to come out if this goes well. Will be making him wait until screening results come back though.

mrsdiddlydoo · 15/06/2015 07:58

Good luck today gr33dy

Nousername2015 · 15/06/2015 08:18

Good luck to those with scans today Smile

Littlelady33 · 15/06/2015 09:54

Good luck to all with scans today! 34wk midwife appointment today. I'm keen to ask about whooping cough vaccine which I understand should be happening soon? I'm also keep to know which way round my little one currently is (I can't tell a foot from a fist) but I guess it's too early to be very meaningful?

Amyyy27 · 15/06/2015 10:01

good luck to greedy and mrsdiddly for your scans x

tigermilk · 15/06/2015 10:27

Hi all, another newbie here. Okay if I de-lurk and join you?

I'm 36, with a 3yo DD, and had a very early miscarriage in May, at 6 weeks. Am now pregnant again (somewhat unbelievably, thought our timing was totally out) and am 5w+4 and freaked out. Feels like a strange no-man's land between being pregnant and not-pregnant. I can't keep on about it to my husband, and haven't told friends yet, so would be great to be able to check in here...
