New thread for shiny scan pics were hoping for.

Can't believe we are coming up to our 20 week scans how weird is that! For those who aren't as far just wait til after your 12 week scan it flies over!!

Mine is 3 weeks on Wednesday, but we have our private scan a week on Saturday. Just desperate to know baby is ok!

Greedy I am looking into buying an angelsounds... do you think its a good idea? I'm just a bit worried I will either become obsessed with it or it will cause me extra worry if I can't find the HB!

Barbie I can't wait to see our baby in 4d... even if it is too early to look like a 'proper baby' I know I will fall in love! And yes its probably scanxiety! I'm sure all will be well on Saturday x

I was thinking about Angel Sounds too. Kept dithering but worried I won't be able to find heartbeats and will get really anxious about it.

Bristol my hospital said if I was high risk, I would receive a phone call within two days so if I didn't hear in that time, it meant low risk. Letter with actual risks came within a week but this varies between hospitals.
Think there is someone else here in Bristol though who could be at the same hospital and tell you their procedure- chasing maybe? Sorry if I've made that up though!

bristolian my downs result took about 3 weeks to come through the post.

amyyy I was worried but have found the heartbeat each time within a minute. It's just lower than I expected. It helps I had the recording from mw to compare against. I've used it for ds to be more involved and for reassurance - after an accidental kick there and of periods of no obvious movement - probably 5 times in 3 weeks.

Hey bristol. I'm under southmead. Our scan was on a Thursday and I got the letter on the Monday iir, they'd advised if it was low risk I'd hear in a fortnight via letter or I'd be called asap for high risk x

Re angelsounds I think it will depend if MW lets me hear tomorrow. If she doesn't I will be desperate to go out and get one (I'm starting to have major anxiety again!), but if she lets us hear tomorrow it will hopefully put my mind at ease until our scan.

Greedy I'm actually going to ask her if she can feel my tummy and show me exactly where baby is as I feel like my uterus is just under my belly button and I don't know if that's normal or maybe just bloating?

Morning all. amyy really hope you get to hear the heartbeat. I loved hearing it at my 16 week. The anxiety is creeping back in now mind!

Anyone else still feeling/being sick. I felt a lot better last week but yesterday and today have been awful. had to call in sick yesterday and this morning. Struggling into work now for the rest of the day.

Are these angel sounds things expensive? I fear I might get obsessive but you've all made me want one!!

Thanks genni I hope so too! Still sick here but am on tablets so only sick on a morning, and very nauseous on a night time and OK-ish during the day if I keep snacking. I know argos has them and amazon but they have to be ordered online! Around £30 iirc.

What happened to 2nd tri glow? I'm covered in spots (literally everywhere, wth?), knackered and still sick. Plus being sooo uncomfortable. I feel like someone has put a bag of rocks in my tummy!

Been feeling a bit nauseous the last couple of mornings. It's when my stomach's empty so I've been eating lots and nipped out at lunch to buy some healthy snacks I can munch. And i'm super tired but not sure whether I'm still getting over the jet lag of flying overnight Saturday and an 8 hour time difference. Could quite happily have a snooze at my desk!

Midwife called before and got booking in on 19 June - same midwife as last time, I remember her being nice

That's good news about a nice midwife tootles I'm struggling with mine Atm I find her a bit snobby (for use of a better word) and really shoots down anxieties and just everything really

Chasing that bumps awesome gonna post another in my maternity clothes in few weeks (still having to hide the pregnancy Atm as you can see it's quite hard now!) so wearing baggy tops and vests underneath... Can't wait to crack out the bump tops as I like to call them :-)

16+ 3 today. But as a disclaimer I am a size 16 and after dd I had a naturally rounded tum even when I lost most of my baby weight and got back to a size 10/12 so it hasn't taken long for it to 'pop' x

16+6 twin bump. Still not much to see really. Just a bit wobbly.

My SIL gave birth to a baby girl this morning. Can't wait for some newborn cuddles at the weekend!
