Thanks everyone. I am soooo bloated this morning. On top of all the other scanxiety I also have the fear that I am going to fart when the sonographer presses on my belly! please tell me I won't be the first that this has happened to?

Scan is at 10:15am followed immediately by cervical length scan and then a consultant appointment at 11:30am

I am drinking peppermint tea and hoping for the best

Mslad · 23/03/2015 08:46

heehee happy I'm sure that won't happen, but if it does, I'm sure the sonographer has seen it all before.

Hope all is well happy, and I'm sure farts at scans are far from unheard of!

sunbathing I have an appointment with my gp today, is there anything I should request ? I really feel clueless this time around !! I'm hoping that as I'm under a gyanae following pain after my first miscarriage that might get me a bit more looking after !!

Usually by this point I have some symptoms, but I have none this time, I'm looking at it as a good thing because my others haven't gone so well ,?! xx

I'd ask about a reassurance scan too, Rebecca. Your GP might not have a clue about them though, but you can ask for midwife details and ask them. I would also ask for a prescription for folic acid and vitamin D, as you might get it for free, plus details of who you can contact before your booking-in appointment if you have any concerns. Good luck!

I have the most awful taste in my mouth today. It's not the classic metallic taste that some women get in pregnancy - it's like a penny has rotted inside my mouth combined with eating bad pine nuts. I have no idea whether it's a side-effect of the antibiotics I'm on, or just me! I'm sucking hardboiled sweets like they're going out of fashion.

Hoping all went well this morning happy. Farting while being scanned is prob embarrassing but wait til you're in labour - then you'll have no cares about your dignity, lolGrin

Welcome rebecca Thanks

Managed not to fart but only just! especially during the internal cervical length one. that was pressing on ALL the wrong bits lol!

Hi ladies. I've not read back so apologies if I've missed some big news. Been away at a country cottage for a week celebrating my 40th. Was actually nice to have a break with no phone or Internet, certainly helped withy obsessive symptom googling.

I've got my booking appointment tomorrow. Miscarried the day before last time so feeling anxious with every little twinge today. Although reassured by the nausea
