I'm only 'glowing' in the sense that horses sweat, men perspire, and ladies 'glow'. Thanks to hot flashes at night, I regularly wake up covered in 'glow'!

I do feel pretty good though, but it's early days still and I know I'm comparing it to my HG pregnancies and also to how I felt after chemo/radiotherapy. The first trimester tiredness is not quite as bad as cancer fatigue but it's damn close some days.

Of course, the flip side of skipping vomiting is that I'm constantly wondering if everything is ok, because pregnancy without vomiting is such an alien concept to me. I have moments of queasiness that last for hours, but it goes away if I eat something, or suck on a mint or hardboiled sweet.

broodylicious · 21/03/2015 13:23

I'm not glowing either. Skin is great though now - thanks neals yard ;)

Anyone else plagued by vivid and horrible dreams? Early on I would dream constantly about bleeding and now I have crazily vivd dreams about not looking after a baby properly and something dreadful happening to him... I also have nightmares that I've been drinking, smoking and in one case taking cocaine (please note that I do none of these things in real life!! - ok well I used to drink before I was pregnant not the other two). I'm getting close to dreading going to sleep...

little, I'm having some very odd dreams this pregnancy. I've been given a mouse by an owl, moved to Boston in America (I've never even been there so ?!?!), married someone completely different to my dh...and then yeah some quite violent stuff as well. Not the nicest.

Littlelady33 · 21/03/2015 19:32

Thanks both and Broody that giving birth to an animal thing sounds familiar apparently that's really common! Definitely worry and hormones might try those meditation techniques again

StickChildNumberTwo · 22/03/2015 09:22

Joining you on the weird dreams, last night's involved me having to work out which of the two guys I'd sort of shagged in a bar (dream was a bit hazy on the logistics of that) might be the father. Never got to the bottom of it, and it was one of those weird dreams where it was simultaneously absolutely real but I knew it was a load of nonsense.

Needless to say there is no actual doubt as to the parentage of this child - only my husband would've put up with the years of shagging to order required!

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 22/03/2015 15:08

Well I seem to have found myself here again ! And a lot sooner than I thought I would as well.

Positive test today, only had 1af between last miscarriage and this pregnancy. Defo wasn't expecting it.

And to sum it up, I am pooing my pants, let's hope 3rd time lucky ?! Confused

Welcome Rebecca and congrats Smile

StickChildNumberTwo · 22/03/2015 17:02

Hi Rebecca, I don't think we've met but very glad you're back here.

fififolle · 22/03/2015 18:13

Congratulations Rebecca, that's superb news!

fififolle · 22/03/2015 18:16

How has everyone else got on with nausea/sickness? I've felt as sick as a dog today and am only 6/52. THIS IS NOT A MOAN! I'm quite happy to be feeling sick as I find it reassuring but I really though I was going to go today...on a crowded coach driving in to the mountains. My boobs are super sore, DS seems to telepathically know that and collides with them at every opportunity. My accupuncturist showed me a great point to press on my ring finger and it's really helped.

Littlelady33 · 22/03/2015 18:56

Fifi I never did quite crack the sickness early on this time but eating little and often helps - hunger really sets it off. As does eating too much! I'd suggest you keep snacks on you, I found Brazil nuts helpful

longestlurkerever · 22/03/2015 19:07

Congratulations rebecca. Everything crossed for a sticky one.

Yes to snacks for sickness. Protein is good and crystallised ginger. It can be rotten though. Sympathies (while glad you're reassured)

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 22/03/2015 19:36

Thanks everyone!!

I've got everything crossed, and my aim is to remain as positive as possible and to not constantly use google ! Bring on the morning sickness is what I say !

Treaclepie19 · 22/03/2015 20:53

Congrats Rebecca :)

I thought I was over the sickness. Feel terrible again tonight though :/
14+1

We're going to need a new thread soon!

Hi all and welcome to the newcomers. Positive thoughts to you all. I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and I am bricking it....even though I had a great 12 week scan and heard the hb at 16 wks and 17 weeks and I am pretty sure I feel movements but i still have this fear that it is all in my head! Ridiculous huh!? I am also scared of something being wrong Confused

I am also having a cervical length scan due to treatment of abnormal cells when I was 22 and a consultant appointment. Going to be a long old morning at the hospital!

After all the good scan news last week I was hoping that everyone could send some positive vibes my way? My scan is at 10:15am. I just hope everything is ok xxxx
