Great scan news today, congratulations everyone.

I've done preg yoga throughout this pregnancy. I wanted to do it during my last two pregnancies but they didn't progress far enough. So I felt very emotional when I did my first yoga class at 16 weeks, it felt like a real milestone! It's also been great for keeping aches and niggles at bay and I've met lots of lovely local ladies. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Well I'm now 36 and a bit weeks and I've started mat leave today! Having this baby has been a long 2 and a half year struggle for us and I can't believe it's nearly time to meet him.

longestlurkerever · 18/03/2015 19:23

Aw congratulations on starting mat leave suzy!

fififolle · 18/03/2015 19:59

Can I join you? I'm just over 5 weeks pregnant, I got my BFP on 9th March. First day of last AF was 8th Feb. I don't really want to think about due dates at the moment! I have one DS aged 4 and had a MMC last October. We've been trying since mid November having previously conceive v quickly. I've been having acpuncture which I've found really helps.

How's everyone doing? What stages are you at?
I've been doing yoga for the past couple of months Suzy and plan to keep going for as long as possible. I've really enjoyed it.

StickChildNumberTwo · 18/03/2015 21:56

Great news on the scans ladies!

Delighted to hear so many have enjoyed pregnancy yoga, I'm looking forward to it even more now.

longest I have been having accupuncture for around a year now and will continue right up until birth. I find it has really helped with some of the common pregnancy issues like morning sickness and constipation. I also find I am so much more relaxed the week after accp and sleep a lot better. I've always taken the attitude that you can't know if it has definitely helped or not but I really enjoy the experience and I find it relaxing so I'll continue with it. I'd make sure you go to a fertility one though.

broodylicious · 19/03/2015 07:33

Hello and welcome fifiSmile

I wonder if acupuncture could help relieve my restless legs and feet? It's driving me totally insane and preventing me from sleeping well or sometimes at all!

Littlelady33 · 19/03/2015 08:04

Welcome Fifi! Tori amazing that you're 30wks not long to go now! I'm just adjusting to how pregnant I suddenly look, am 21+4, there's really no hiding it now. I'm not feeling movement yet, I don't think, but trying not to panic as this is my first and that's apparently not unusual

SuzyBean · 19/03/2015 10:40

littlelady I don't think I felt movement with my first until about 22 or 23 weeks and they were just like bubbles popping or butterflies, very subtle.

fififolle · 19/03/2015 10:45

Broody have you tried the old fashioned bar of soap in the bed? Apparently it works!
I'm just doing normal yoga, not pregnancy yoga yet.
Littlelady it's still quite early to be feeling movement but it won't be long!

Littlelady33 · 19/03/2015 13:53

Thanks Suzy and Fifi that's reassuring. I'm just SUCH a worrier - only had good 20wk scan last week and am already stressing about a new thing. The Internet is full of women apparently getting constantly kicked from 16wks, I should step away from Google!Smile
