Your not you're - I swear that was my phone changing it to wind me up!

Boozle80 · 12/03/2015 20:11

Although I am now wondering how to get coke out of the carpet...

Treaclepie19 · 12/03/2015 20:48

Haha thanks Boozle, I'm going to leave it.
Its a long shot to think I'm rhesus negative when I don't even know and I only had a minor trip.

Coke on the carpet... not a good thing!

Thank you sunbathing :)
I may try and ring my midwife tomorrow just to ask if she thinks I need to do anything.
Normally I wouldn't have even thought about the trip and just laughed it off so it really wasn't that bad.
Got myself into a bit of a state now though so I imagine it's no sleep for me tonight.

Sunbathing Id like to give you a massive hug.
I needed that, that was how I was trying to get myself to think. I can't see how a little trip up the stairs would hurt baby but you can always persuade yourself the worst will happen.

I'll ring my midwife tomorrow and hopefully she'll tell me I'm over reacting! :)

Treacle Didn't you have a blood test with your MC, if you were rhesus neg you would have known then surely? They didn't tell me what my blood type was then, I just know I didn't have an injection. I know I am A+ now though. Nice and dull!

Feeling a bit better about everything today

Just soooo hungry... all the time. I have told myself I can eat as much as I like as long as it has real nutritional value and is healthy..... so basically not cake, biscuits, fizzy sweets or pastry. Doesn't help when a woman at yoga told me that i was VERY big for 18 weeks and was I SURE I wasn't having twins.

I know the chances of late MC are super rare and have an underlying cause, but its always a fear, along with anything else that could go wrong.

Hope you feel better today Treacle. My friend fell fully onto her bump when she was 8 months preg and she has a bouncy 9 month old now that is no worse for the experience

Treaclepie19 · 13/03/2015 11:23

I did happy but it was to check if my hcg levels were rising. I don't know about my blood group.

I'm at the doctors now because the midwife said to go get checked.

I'm sure all will be well treacle, especially as you didn't bump the bump. Let us know what doc says though hun xxx

Treaclepie19 · 13/03/2015 11:44

Thank you :)
Will do, i can't see anything being wrong but I know I'd drive myself crazy if I didn't come in.

Treacle sure you'll be fine but let us know how you get on x

Treaclepie19 · 13/03/2015 13:05

She just said ive got my scan Wednesday, she doesn't think it would've hurt anything and unless I have bleeding not to worry.
Nobody knows my blood type. It's not on file there or at the hospital. She said it's not a concern as I'm having everything tested wednesday.

Glad you've had some reassurance Treacle, not long till scan now. How are you feeling?

I'm nervous... I'm talking about baby as if they will arrive but still worried my scan won't go well.
My body aches but otherwise ok.

Sunbathing, insomnia definitely makes anxiety worse.
I know its so hard to think positively. Can you relax a bit with a bath or book?

I'm from 'the other' thread and dipping a tentative toe in here, largely to reassure treacle. I had booking in today and mentioned how I feel bad not wrestling with my ds. The mw said scaled down it should be fine - as others said, baby is well protected behind the pelvis and as pregnancy progresses is protected by the waters - she gave an analogy to an egg in a balloon of water and no matter how much it shakes the egg just floats.

Hi to the few names I recognise sunbathing, northdown & phryn.

I'll step back out now until if when i have a more positive outlook or definite viable pregnancy.

Treaclepie19 · 13/03/2015 15:03

Hiya gr33dy, I remember you.
Thank you :)
I think i know really ill be fine, I'm just crazy :p

Hope all is going well.

MelB2014 · 13/03/2015 16:12

I'm sure everything will be fine Treacle

Re blood types, I don't know mine yet and I didn't have any blood tests taken when I went through my MC. I think different health authorities must take different approaches, I only had the scans.

I need to go and have my blood taken for all the tests that are now required but I'm dreading it as I pass out every time blood is taken without fail.

Treaclepie19 · 13/03/2015 18:55

I'm getting annoyed now :(
I've been on antibiotics for a water infection. I don't think it's gone but I can never be sure as I'm often tested for one and in pain but it's nothing.
Dunno whether to wait til my hospital appointment or just go to the walk in tomorrow.
I'd really rather not have to!

Is there anything they can do to help you with your blood being taken mel?
