Really hope you get a date soon ginger. I'm terrified about the 20wk scan tomorrow - been having horrendous dreams. Wish appt was at least in the morning!

SomeSortOfDeliciousBiscuit · 09/03/2015 19:27

Congratulations to Tanny and Holly! It's lovely to hear of the end result. Smile

I had pretty much convinced myself things were going badly, as I'm certain I had hyperemesis by this point in other pregnancies, and I've only been very slightly nauseous, and really infrequently.

But... I had my early scan today and there was a heartbeat and I'm bang on for dates. Grin They placed me at 6w5d and I'd reckoned 6w4d, so that's pretty good.

Booking-in appointment with the midwife tomorrow so she can refer me off to whichever clinics I need.

Huge congrats holly and again to you tanny Smile Such wonderful news.

Good luck for tomorrow littlelady. I'm sure everything will be fine but sending you all the best positive vibes xxx

Wow sunbathing, get you in the final trimester!!! Eeeek!!!

Not much to report here. Having exceptionally peculiar dreams, some really quite violent, when I can get to sleep. Other nights, I can't get to sleep or stay asleep because of stupid restless legs and feet. Absolutely horrid!

Treaclepie19 · 09/03/2015 20:14

Brilliant somesort :)

Eek sunbathing, baby will be here before you know it :)

I've felt a bit more normal today (apart from a 2 hour nap) so I'm worrying!
9 days til my scan.

good luck tomorrow littlemiss are you finding out the sex?

mrsthoree3009 · 09/03/2015 22:43

Hello I have been directed here because I am approx 8/9 wks preg and have lost 3 babies. 2 MCs and 1 emergency termination because of severe cystic hygroma. All in the last 2 years.
I am so anxious. I am always checking for blood. Over thinking everything. Have my booking in appt on 17th. Hoping they will give me an early scan to reassure myself and my husband. Just praying its 4th time lucky this time. I want to let myself feel excited!! Xx

Welcome, mrsthoree. You're certainly in the right place. Smile Sorry to hear what you've been through.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Right now, today, you're pregnant and that's something to be happy about, and you can be as happy or anxious, or as worried as you like here. Everyone here 'gets' it.

mrsthoree3009 · 09/03/2015 22:59

I have had a read through the the thread and you all seem lovely. Its nice to talk to others that understand. I have all finger and toes crossed for us this time xx

Ugh, moved from lactulose to Fybogel. Let's hope this helps get rid of my stomach pain!

I can second that Broody and I'm so, unbeliveably, tired! What happened to the second trimester glow...

happygojo · 10/03/2015 11:26

Hi Treacle no luck with the lactulose yet? I hate fybogel with a passion…. Tastes like grass and turns to jelly if you don’t drink it fast enough! although lactulose knocks me sick too. I got told I couldn’t use movicol for the first 12 weeks in my first pg, which is what I used pre-pregnancy so I might text my MW because I have boxes of the stuff and I find it is easier to maintain a good level with it. Tastes ok if you mix with lemon squash. It isn’t actually absorbed into the blood stream so shouldn’t even make it to bubs. I stopped taking my lactulose Blush and now I have blown up like a balloon. I look 6 months gone not 4. So I have started being good with my lactulose again

Boozle Broody and sunbathing ….. I second the tiredness and weird dreams….all my friends are going on a night out on Friday night and I am so gutted I can’t go but by the time it gets to Friday I can barely form words in the evening and struggle to stay up til the end of gogglebox, so dinner and mocktails are probably out for me. My BF is going so I think I will stay home and eat whatever I want and go to bed at about 7.30pm lol!

Hope everyone is well

Treaclepie19 · 10/03/2015 11:43

Well the Fybogel has worked! Magic.
This pregnancy lark, causes some discomfort doesn't it? :p

I'm feeling less nauseous today which is worrying me.
Not long til my scan. 8 days to go. 8 days to go...

Welcome mrsthoree and congrats, we all understand the anxiety!

Can you take Fybogel in the 1st Trimester? I've not taken so much as a paracetamol despite having awful headaches constantly because I'm so paranoid.

I was really 'bunged up' from 4-7 weeks but the last 2 weeks I've been having the opposite problem at times and really struggling with food.

I am angry today, work is really stressful and my hormones have sent me into Grumpy overdrive. I'm debating how wise it would be to tell my boss about my situation, I'm only 9w2d but my workload is insane and frankly I can't take it anymore. My sis-in-law told me that if I tell my boss she is obliged to make sure I'm not stressed. But I'm worried about anyone knowing before I'm past that magic date... What did all of you do re work?

happygojo · 10/03/2015 11:49

Aren't you 11 weeks now treacle ? If so feeling less nausea is most likely just a sign that the placenta has kicked in and your hormones are normalising.... May have to try some fybogel.... No ahem.... Movement.... For me for a while now so something will have to give eventually

Treaclepie19 · 10/03/2015 11:56

Thats good to hear Tori :)
Yeah mel, my doctor prescribed it.
She said normally they just do lactulose but fybogel is fine. It's just fibre :)

I'm 12+2 now happy :)
Definitely recommend fybogel. I've been taking lactulose for weeks without much improvement.
