Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone is due in the next couple of weeks and wants to keep a thread of how they're feeling, their daily struggles or keep updated with labour stories etc?!

I'm 38+0 and have been having niggles for a week or so. I have mild polyhydramnios and have been told to expect baby anytime soon, although some days I don't feel pregnant and feel I still have ages to go!

How're you feeling and have you had any signs that your LO will be making an appearance anytime soon?

Sorry miss I keep reading but most of the time sheer exhaustion holds me back from posting. I still want to hear everyone's stories and I'm going to make time for a bit more activity from myself. X

Congratulations tanny, fab news, well done! Hope you're enjoying your baby.
I had a consultant appointment yesterday which was very positive, they've no problem if I want to wait until 42 week's to make a decision about a gentle induction or repeat cs, haven't even got to go back to hospital till then, which is great! Will update the other thread with how I Teton, I think you're right, there's only me left here anyway!

I'm due in 10 days so thought I'd bump the thread. Anyone else due soon?

littlemissy12345 · 17/03/2015 21:53

I'm due in a week. Can't wait to not be pregnant now - it's all getting a bit heavy and painful! No signs other than a few twinges every now and again and masses of braxton hicks everytime I do anything!

ShellyBobbs · 18/03/2015 16:02

Same here, no signs at all. I did get my birthing pool delivered today which I'm glad about. Grin

missmakesstuff · 18/03/2015 17:35

I'm still here... Loads of Braxton hicks since Monday, all up high, was like a belt being tightened last night, but they ease at night. Been swimming and pottering about doing housework etc, got a pile of sewing to do and loads of DVDs I can watch, just getting a bit bored now..my back/rib pain is excruciating, I'm really not dealing with it unless I'm on a heat pad or with lots of co-codamol, which . Don't like taking. Due Monday, wish he would hurry up!

ShellyBobbs · 22/03/2015 10:31

Well I thought yesterday was the day, got in the bath and everything stopped Angry

This baby feels so big and heavy, plus with spd it leaves me virtually immobile. It's my 40th tomorrow so hopefully little baba will make an appearance at some point tomorrow which would be nice, but I won't hold my breath!

Can't stop weeing Grin

missmakesstuff · 22/03/2015 15:33

I'm the same.. Barely walking a few steps without Danny daggers, in the evenings when he's really active its agony when he moves his bum about in my ribs and head wiggling away..
due tomorrow, so I guess one way or another I just have to remember I've only got absolute maximum of 3 weeks left..as at that point I will have tried induction and booked for cs!
I guess at least anything like tightenings etc at this stage are a good sign, things getting ready..!

ShellyBobbs · 28/03/2015 22:57

Woohoo, had my homebirth yesterday! She came on her due date too, good girl. From Wednesday I knew it would be within a couple of days as her head was so low.

Hope you've had yours too. x

missmakesstuff · 29/03/2015 13:15

Congrats shelly, fab news! I'm still waiting..not very patiently, 41 weeks tomorrow.

littlemissy12345 · 29/03/2015 18:47

Had my little boy on Thursday, he tried for his due date but missed out by an hour. Forceps in the end so I'm very sore but Sams fine!

Hope you don't have to wait much longer! X

missmakesstuff · 30/03/2015 08:58

congratulations littleMissy!

I'm fed up, been awake half the night with cough, which now seems to have set off bh, although they are quite sore, don't think it's the real thing..
have kept Dd off today as she still hasn't eaten anything after a vomiting bug on Saturday night (another night of no sleep!). So not ready for this baby to come yet, need to sort out the piles of washing and feel better first...

ShellyBobbs · 15/04/2015 17:47

I'm presuming that you've had your baby now Miss. What fid you have, are you both well? x
