Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

Yessss treacle!!! Bet it was such a relief for you xxxx

Treaclepie19 · 12/02/2015 08:09

Go for it doctordonna :p

It really was broody! :)
Now to chase up the midwife! Been trying to get an initial appointment for 3 weeks.

MelB2014 · 12/02/2015 09:13

Thanks all. I've got a GP appointment at 11.10 today so I will ask them to refer me to the EPU. Fingers crossed...

Littlelady33 · 12/02/2015 10:30

Yay treacle and good luck Dr Donna! God the 16wk (at least I got to head a heartbeat) to 20wk stretch is long isn't it...? Anyone else feeling like time is slowing down?? I'm also really not showing much at 16.5... It's my first, I'm pretty small and have a retro verted uterus so it's not surprising but I'm still a little worried!

happygojo · 12/02/2015 11:04

Hi littlelady I am finding the 12-16 week wait quite long, especially as there is no guarantee they will listen to the HB at 16 weeks. I mean I know there is a baby there, I have a picture..... but apart from that I am clueless. I can't feel movement yet so I have no idea whether everything is ok.

Littlelady33 · 12/02/2015 11:18

Yep happy 12-16 is loooong too! Although probably nothing is quite so bad as the 4/5 until 12 wait which is truly torture. I'd love to feel some movement but it's unlikely at this stage. Made the mistake of briefly looking at fetal heart dopplers on Amazon, who now keep emailing me about offers - just stoking that fire of crazy...

happygojo · 12/02/2015 11:30

I looked at fetal dopplers too but my BF told me off, because he knew I would just end up stressing myself out.

I have had trapped wind today and yesterday. Everytime i think it is... ahem.... 'clearing' more air seems to take its place Sad. It is quite painful where the baby was at the ultrasound but think it is just wind.

I just wish I could get on all fours and stick my bum in the air.... but might look strange in the office lol!

Babytinx11 · 12/02/2015 11:53

Still no baby yet :( and the whole process has upset my kidney and made me poorly again on my second propess now hopefully after a horrible night last night where I got to 6 then madam moved and I went back to 2/3 then got very sick this will do the trick or they are gonna break my waters tomorrow morning

tannyLoo · 12/02/2015 13:26

Sorry it's such a long process, baby, I hope things get moving today. It sounds exhausting x

Littlelady33 · 12/02/2015 14:15

Sounds hard work baby thinking of you and the end is in sight!

silverine · 12/02/2015 16:06

Aww baby, induction's no fun, is it... Wishing you strength! x

Babytinx11 · 12/02/2015 18:32

This time has been awful looks like they'll be breaking my waters and putting me on the drip tomorrow but nervous because ideally I don't want an epidural Hmm but there we go the meds seem to have my kidney back under control so other than awful sickness I'm doing better and fingers crossed after a good nights sleep baby will make her appearance

DoctorDonnaNoble · 12/02/2015 18:58

Fingers crossed baby

HollyBen · 12/02/2015 18:58

Sorry it's such tough going baby. Just keep thinking of the end goal and those squishy cuddles. Thinking of you x

worriedmum100 · 12/02/2015 19:21

Hope it's all over soon baby.

I'm having a major wobble. symptoms have really eased since Tuesday. I thought it was because I don't work on Tuesdays so had a bit of a lie in and more relaxed at home, no commute etc.But I've just done Wednesday and Thursday at work and don't feel anywhere near ad bad as I did last week. Oh gawd this is so difficult. 8 weeks tomorrow. No cramping or bleeding or anything. Roll on the 9 week scan. Sad

thesmallbear · 12/02/2015 20:36

There's a woman at work who's six weeks pregnant. She came up to me today to say she had some pink spotting and what should she do. A bit later she said it was like her period. She left work and went to the hospital. She has a scan at 9am in the morning, but she's clotting now so it doesn't look good.

I'm noticeably pregnant now. I remember how hard I found it being around the pregnant woman in my team after my MC. And now I'm going to be the one causing the distress. I'll rein in the pregnancy chat, but people who don't know what the other woman has been through are bound to ask me about my pregnancy in earshot of her Sad

tannyLoo · 12/02/2015 20:52

small, I really appreciated people being sensitive with me at work about pregnancy within the team. I'm sure your colleague will appriciate your efforts.

Small it's nice of you to worry and I hope she's ok. I think that because we've been through pregnancy loss we are naturally sensitive - I have two friends struggling TTC and I feel guilty for my own happiness sometimes

Thepurplegiraffe · 12/02/2015 21:55

Small I was 2 weeks behind someone at work who mc at 11 1/2 weeks. I put off telling her about my pregnancy for ages, only did it a couple of weeks ago at 17 weeks, but she was so good about it and we had a really nice chat. I still feel really awkward though, every time it comes up in general.

Baby good luck for tomorrow, hope everything goes more smoothly than today. We are all thinking of you.

thesmallbear · 12/02/2015 22:03

Thanks all. I just know how irrational I was after my mc. I won't talk about my pregnancy now. Well, I won't start the conversation and I'll try and nip it in the bud if others do.

tannyLoo · 13/02/2015 07:44

Eek! We need a new thread! Can anyone on a computer do one and post the link please? I know I'd screw it up from my phone Smile ...

Treaclepie19 · 13/02/2015 07:52

I have done it but excuse the typos and name, apparently I'm still asleep!
