Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

Hope everything is ok small. When I had my booking in appt, my mw said to call GP with any issues before 16 weeks but after that, the hospital directly. Do you have the number for your maternity dept? Think it'd be worth calling them directly? Thinking of you xxx

thesmallbear · 27/01/2015 08:30

Thanks all. I have texted my Mideife so will wait for her to get back to me. It's not a lot so hopefully it's nothing to worry about. Every little thing after an MC is terrifying though!

ElleyBear13 · 27/01/2015 08:40

Morning ladies! Sorry to hijack the thread....hope everyone is well! In december i posted on here about my bfp after mc in september and i recieved some wonderful advice. I just wanted to update, i went for a early scan on sunday....baby measuring exactly 9w1d and had a strong heartbeat! We're over the moon, a huge huge thank you to all of you who've been so supportive during this difficult time.

Just checked in- small hope you're ok? While it's probably nothing serious, I would push the midwife for a scan for my peace of mind. Hope they look after you today.

Congrats Elley That's a lovely clear picture

broodylicious · 27/01/2015 08:58

Fantastic news elley! Here's to a boring 31 weeks for youSmile

I second sunbathing's advice, small. Best to be safe xx

ElleyBear13 · 27/01/2015 09:12

Thank you everyone we were expecting the worst and when bean came up on the big screen we both burst into tears! Oh and what a difference there is between private sconographers and hospital ones, i'd love to go back to the clinic for my 12 and 20 week scan. Thank you all again heres to a uneventful 31 weeks! :)

Littlelady33 · 27/01/2015 10:38

Great news Elley! Small hope you can see your midwife and get some reassurance x

Hi girls, just joined and was reading through your posts for a bit of positivity. I just lost our little boy Max 2 weeks ago. I was 41 weeks + 4 days overdue and was due to go in the next day for a check but I went in with reduced movement on the Sunday and his little heart had stopped beating. My whole universe just collapsed- the whole pregnancy had been perfect. I delivered him on the Monday- he was perfect. Obviously we are beyond devestated and the only thing I can think of for comfort is to get pregnant again as soon as possible. Max was my first pregnancy and it took us 18 months trying with him. I'm just hoping it'll happen quicker this time and I've heard you might be more fertile immediately after a pregnancy so hoping to find that. Doctor has advised we can try again after 6 weeks healing. I'm doing well physically, healing well and trying to focus on eating well and getting lots of excercise to get my body as prepared as possible. I know another pregnancy now would be so stressful and I know we'll never replace Max but after holding and kissing his little body I know even more than before how much I want to have a family.

I'm so sorry, Mrs.

Feeling really low here today. Still got brownish bleeding so that's over a week now of on/off discharge and although EPAU have been lovely and said not to worry I find it so hard not to. Got scan on Friday and terrified that despite all my symptoms it'll all be for nothing.

Everyone else at work has guessed, though not to my face. Rushed headlong into the loo yesterday to throw up and someone had put a glass of water by the door when I emerged.

How far along are you Commander? Xx

Boozle80 · 27/01/2015 12:42

Mrs that must have been the worst thing to ever have to go through. Sending you massive hugs

CommanderShepard · 27/01/2015 12:48

6-7 weeks; they've not been able to date it properly yet.

It probably won't help at all but I had weird spotting all the way through up until 12 weeks. It just came for a week and then went. Then would appear again a few weeks later. They found a small pool of blood in my uterus that kept appearing and a bit would get through - red at first and then turning to pinky brown. I was terrified everytime, but it was ok. When are they next scanning you?

Boozle80 · 27/01/2015 12:52

Sorry, I just re-read - Friday. I'll keep everything crossed for you. It's so hard, sending you massive hugs

longestlurkerever · 27/01/2015 13:43

Mrs I am so sorry to read of the loss of baby Max. I know you won't forget him but hope in time you do begin to heal and that you have the family you dream of.

Small I hope you're OK. I think at this stage it's much less likely to be a sinister cause but I hope you get reassurance from the EPU.

Well how is this for posifrickentivity? I bumped into the woman from dd's old nursery and ended up signing new baby up to their waiting list. It's a no brainer choice as we loved it there but seems a bit too organised. Hope I haven't jinxed anything!

broodylicious · 27/01/2015 14:11

Absolutely heartbreaking to hear your story, mrs. Just can't even begin to contemplate the pain you must be feeling. I hope you find some comfort from the baby loss boards on here and that when you're pg again, we see you on here Smile

Sorry to those who have spotting or odd, unexplained symptoms. Keep up the positivity though, ladies, we are pregnant today! Xx

Littlelady33 · 27/01/2015 15:50

Mrs I'm so very sorry for your loss. Commander the waiting must be agony but great that you'll have another scan on Friday. I'm finding my symptoms more manageable just now at almost 15 weeks which is great on one level (living a more normal life) and on another in worried!

charlieis30 · 27/01/2015 17:36

Nausea has popped up to say hello yesterday/today (14w-ish). On another note, suddenly all my jeans are really digging in to my waist/hips. Any recommendations for mat jeans that aren't hideous?

happygojo · 27/01/2015 17:44

Hi charlie I have a pair of h&m skinny over the bump jeans that I really like. They look totally normal once you have a top on. I am only 11 weeks and my tummy seems to have popped, but I think it is mostly bloat

Boozle80 · 27/01/2015 17:49

I got some skinny jeans, over the bump, from mothercare which I love - they were on £8 in the sale too! M and P jeans don't look right on me at all.

broodylicious · 27/01/2015 18:05

I went shopping today and noticed primark do a maternity range now - they'd got both under and over the bump skinny jeans and felt nice. Alas, my fat baby making hips means boot cut are the only cut I can wearHmmConfused
