Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

Still pretty anxious over here too despite no reason to be, and plenty of symptoms (including some pretty special ones relating to a tilted uterus, full bladder... Incredibly irritating.. You don't want know...) Broody my midwife told me that she's try to find a heartbeat at 16w appt - she said that because I'm quite small it apparently might work out but, partly due to stupid tilted uterus, I shouldn't get my hopes up.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 07:39

Feeling rotten and snuffly this morning. Trying to focus on the fact my boobs are still getting more sore/tender and not on the fact that I'm not suffering too badly from nausea/sickness! 6 +1 today I am pregnant.
Wish DH was here for a hug and not in the Lake District. Or that my mum knew. We agreed not to tell the mums yet as DMIL is having a REALLY tough time at the minute and don't want to give her good news and then take it away again!

worriedmum100 · 24/01/2015 07:52

Rebecca - I'm so sorry. Hope you have lots of support.

Commander - how are you?

I know what you mean Doctor. I wish I felt worse. I dont feel great. Sore heavy boobs, tired background queasiness but not the horrible travel sickness feeling whenever I even moved my head that I had with DS. Oh well will just have to take each day as it comes. Keep telling myself that's I'm not bleeding and have no severe cramps but after a MMC that's not all that comforting.

5+2 today.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 07:58

Exactly worried. It was 6 +4 that I had a private early scan that found empty sac Hmm
Think Tuesday is going to be a little difficult. I just keep thinking that if I can get to the midwife appointment with no bleeding then I might just be ok...

worriedmum100 · 24/01/2015 08:14

Are you having an early scan this time? (sorry if I've missed that in the thread ).

Both my last two mc have ended between 5-6 weeks. One spontaneous and one missed and not properly confirmed til 9 weeks so this is the hardest period I think.

My early scan is at 7 weeks. Not sure how I'm going to cope wit the anxiety on that day!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 08:17

Going to ask midwife for one. Not going private as it wasn't nice getting that news in a place not set up for bad news. The EPU here were excellent.

Littlelady33 · 24/01/2015 08:34

Doctor couldn't agree more about avoiding private scan so early - some I'm sure are very good, with consultants, but the sonographer who confirmed my MMC was dreadful - not her fault but limited medical knowledge and left me unnecessarily worried about a small routine cyst that she thought was benign and had to be removed. When I took her scans and notes to the EPU the next day their disapproval was obvious!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 08:36

I had doubts about my place when the letter arrived. They used comic sans as their font! I

worriedmum100 · 24/01/2015 08:52

Oh dear - worried now! I'm having mine at the consultants office who I've been seeing for the ashermans. Decided to do that because he has all the details about where the scar tissue is etc so thought that would be best. If bad news I guess I I'll have to go to NHS EPU to confirm.

Littlelady33 · 24/01/2015 09:14

Worried that will be fine! My concerns were with the many private scan clinics really just set up to do quick checks and without proper experience if the news is bad - a consultant who knows your history would be wholly different thing and I'm sure the best place to go.

That's strange. My EPU accepted the private scan. It really bugs me how the experience of pregnancy is so different in different trusts.

I haven't had a private scan. Hopefully I will be having an early scan next week though.
I'm feeling quite negative today.
I had a dream I was bleeding and then been having flashbacks to my miscarriage including saying I could never do that again.
I said to DH yesterday I feel like we're just waiting for the scan so we can know it's bad news.

Treacle I have bad and vivid dreams constantly - but I'm sure they are very normal in pregnancy, due to hormones, stress and broken sleep. Doesn't make them less upsetting though.

Treaclepie19 · 24/01/2015 11:05

Thank you both x
It's hard as I don't feel pregnant. 6 weeks tomorrow.
Feel like my symptoms are disappearing. All I can do is wait and hope I suppose.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 11:08

Treacle - with you there! But think I've got fewer symptoms today as I actually had a decent night's sleep last night. Boobs are still getting bigger though!

CommanderShepard · 24/01/2015 11:29

Hi worried - I'm ok. Back to just very pale brown which is more discharge than anything. Still feeling really sick but it's started delaying itself to mid morning and before bedtime. Boobs are tingly and firmer but not bigger, though not surprising.

Next scan is Friday - praying they'll be able to see growth.

Hoping for some good news on Friday commander. Treacle at 6 weeks I felt the same then by week 8 I literally couldn't remember what that blissful time was like, once life became a cycle of dry toast, Rennies, and trying not to be obviously sick Hmmat work. 6 weeks is still quite early for symptoms i think and plenty of women say that 'feeling pregnant' doesn't really happen for them

pocopearl · 24/01/2015 16:27

Hey ladies, sorry been quiet the last day, I know some of yu were asking after me. Had 2nd bloods today BHCG level was 3. Obviously was not meant to be. Good Luck with your pregnancies. xxx
