Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

Just remember that you have to wait for scan as before 5 weeks they really won't be able to see anything. Just try and take it easy until Wednesday (easier said than done I know).

Littlelady33 · 22/01/2015 13:05

Ah Rebecca I see my mistake I thought you were slightly over 5wks for some reason. Try to rest if you can, I know the waiting is horrendous

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 22/01/2015 13:33

I'm about 5 and a Half weeks, the hospital just called and the midwife said they have had a cancellation for tomorrow and said I could take the appointment to ease my mind a little but to be aware they may not see anything, also they will so some bloods. I haven't bled much more but I'm starting to get period like discomfort so I'll be honest I'm thinking the worst.

Great news Cava! Really hope the next scan is a good one too.

Rebecca that is so difficult if they won't scan. Could you get a private scan or do they just say it's too early?

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 22/01/2015 15:46

I've got a scan tomorrow now, midwife called and said they'd had a cancelation and I could have it to ease my mind. To be fair I don't see much point in going. Keep getting strong waves of pain and a fair amount of blood now. Was really hoping id be lucky enough to not have a second miscarriage in a row, really makes you feel like there's something wrong. Sorry for being so miserable ladies.

Littlelady33 · 22/01/2015 15:48

Rebecca I'm so sorry, but glad that you will see someone tomorrow and get some answers.
Cava that's very exciting news about the 7 week scan. I worried plenty after my good 7 week scan too but the odds really really are in your favour now.

Mslad · 22/01/2015 16:05

Oh Rebecca I really really hope it's not bad news. My heart goes out to you. Definitely go tomorrow, cos you never do know. I'll be thinking about you.

sunbathing that's annoying they couldn't see everything but if what they saw looks good, then that's a great sign! When do you have to go back?

I've felt very little/no movement today...trying not to think about it/worry. It can be so hard to keep a positive outlook. Must try harder!

Flumpy2012 · 22/01/2015 16:15

Hello all,

Rebecca I'm so sorry you're going through this horrible anxious time, everything crossed that things are ok for you.

Good news on the good scans. How many weeks are you sunbathing?

Baby is probably having a tired day mslad, have you tried a very cold drink and a lay down?

Think I'm 5 weeks tomorrow so going to do a digi test and hope it says 3+
Was so chuffed to gag on my yoghurt this morning after worrying about no symptoms. What a ridiculous thing to be pleased about!

My bowels are still messing around, either Deere constipation or diareah. Anyone else?

Hello everyone

Rebecca - I'm so sorry you're in limbo land. I hope you can get some answers tomorow.

Had quite a stressful morning at work and felt crap by lunchtime. Tired and nauseous. Was better after I ate something. I'm finding that I don't fancy food but when it's put in front of me I inhale it like I've not eaten in weeks!

5 weeks today. The time is going so oooo slowly.

Treaclepie19 · 22/01/2015 17:59

Glad all looked well sunbathing :)

Flumpy, my bowels are the same!

Babytinx11 · 22/01/2015 18:24

mslad if your worried about Movement talk to your midwife or mau better safe than sorry nothing to do with staying positive there it's what my midwives have said to me all along :)

HollyBen · 22/01/2015 19:13

Thinking of you rebecca I hope it doesn't turn out to be bad news xx

maverick79 · 22/01/2015 20:40

Flumpy, me too especially in morning's. Thinking of you Rebecca.

Flumpy2012 · 22/01/2015 21:30

Any movement mslad?

Glad to hear others have strange bowels too!

Worried, sorry to hear you've had a stressful day. I agree with the slow time! Are you hoping for early scan? I'm aiming for one at 8 weeks. 3 weeks to go!

Today we are pregnant x

worriedmum100 · 22/01/2015 21:40

Hi Flumpy - I've got a private early scan booked for 7 weeks. In some ways I'd rather not have one. Bad experience with MMC last time being left in limbo for ages, endless scans etc. But I have a severely defective c section scar and Ashermans (caused by having to have two ERPCS last time) so have to have a scan to check baby isn't settled in the scar tissue.

I'm lucky that my job very isn't usually hugely stressful but today I had a very short time scale to get something important done so forgot to eat and felt dreadful by 2pm. Bit better after I'd eaten!

SuzyBean · 22/01/2015 22:07

poco and rebecca I hope it's not bad news for you, fingers crossed. If the worst does happen please don't think there's something wrong with you, it's normally just terribly bad luck. I had two mc in a row and took 18 months to conceive this baba, I really did think that I wouldn't be able to have another child (not least because I'm now 39 and as my boss keeps telling me ancient!!) but 28 weeks later and I'm the size of a space hopper!

I've been following but not posting much, mainly because I'm knackered and uncomfortable. Only 6 weeks till mat leave, I'm counting down the days.

KellyBird1980 · 22/01/2015 22:13

Hi ladies, I'm not sure if I'm going to ask for an early scan either - after my mmc they only hold sad memories for me and I almost feel like I want to give it as much time to develop as possible before I go through it again (sounds weird). I haven't been to the Dr yet or arranged a booking appt etc but think I will start the ball rolling next week when I hit the 5 week mark xx

Flumpy2012 · 22/01/2015 22:26

Oh worried poor you, sorry to be naive but what's erpc?
Everything crossed for your 7 week scan x

Kelly I'm the same as you and haven't spoken to gp or anyone yet, nor booked anything. 5 weeks tomorrow I think, doing a digi test first thing. I think I'll contact gp at 6 or 7.

Im scared I'll have an early scan and they won't be able to see anything and I'll have that awful wait before I can go back again to check.

KellyBird1980 · 22/01/2015 22:44

Flumpy - me too, am doing a digi test on sat. we found out last time at a 10 week private scan that bump had only grown to 6+4, so I'm just holding my breath to pass that first 6 week milestone before I do anything else x

Digi test said 2-3 so can't quite be 5 weeks! Argh more waiting. Because I haven't had af since mc it's hard to know exactly although I think I ov around first week of jan.

Hope everyone else is ok today x

broodylicious · 23/01/2015 08:10

Hi ladies. Been missing for a bit, nothing sinister, just been busy. Hope everyone is ok and early pg isn't driving you newbies too insane (impossible eh?!)

That's a bugger they couldn't see everything sunbathing. At least you get another scan, looking on the positive sideSmile

I'm 14+4 today. Still shit scared.
