Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

More dark brown discharge this morning. Eek. GP opens in 15 minutes.

Threw up on way to work and again as I got into office :(

I got that with DD when she'd been having a party in the night, Tori.

GP is going to book scan - now I'm really frightened, weirdly :(

Commander - I'm so sorry you're having to go this this. It's crap. How far along are you now? I hope the scan gives you an answer. X

CommanderShepard · 19/01/2015 09:22

I'm not really sure, to be honest - anywhere between 5+4 and 5+6. I didn't have a period between mc and BFP so I'm guessing based on when I think I ovulated.

I really, really hope that the morning sickness is a good sign.

Worriedmum if you have been worrying through the night and haven't slept well your temp will be affected. Put the thermometer away! And the sticks!

commander surely morning sickness is a good sign. Take care and good luck today.

Mslad · 19/01/2015 12:14

Hi Positive peeps!

I've had a busy weekend so just catching up now. Hello to all newbies, it's lovely to have you on board, and hand holding to all those worrying, especially in the slooooow first trimester.

How are you getting on this morning commander and worried?

Does this sound completely bonkers? Post 20 week scan I have relaxed a little. I have a midwife app tomorrow, and a lot of me feels, for the first time, not as nervous going to it (the listening to heartbeat part- I want to hear it, but what if we don't??), but as soon as I have that thought, the other voice jumps into my head and scolds me for being more relaxed 'don't let your guard down' it's telling me....'as soon as you do that, something will go wrong'. Does anyone else have this voice of negativity or am I just a bit crazy?

Thanks Sunbathing - I had kinda hoped that the negative voice would ease off a bit by this stage Angry

CommanderShepard · 19/01/2015 12:52

Scan is booked for tomorrow at 4. I don't know if they'll be able to see anything but I guess at least they might have an idea of how far along I am.

I am pregnant again following a missed miscarriage last Summer. Scan (a little late due to ignoring the whole pregnancy thing) at 15weeks next Monday and I AM PETRIFIED. Although I have bought the pram, car seat and lots of clothes already.. as if I am telling myself that if I make the baby 'real', then all will have to be well. Hmmm. BUT my belly is definitely getting rounder - good sign I wonder? Grin

thesmallbear · 19/01/2015 16:52

Commander - I had brown discharge on and off till about 12 weeks. All's well here, so I hope it is for you too Flowers

Mslad · 19/01/2015 17:18

commander have you had any more brown discharge?

Welcome starlight bigger belly definitely sounds like a good sign Smile I like your positive attitude!

worriedmum100 · 19/01/2015 17:21

Hello all

My bloods came back ok. I've gone from 149 last Wednesday (13dpo) to 961 today (18dpo). clinic happy so no more blood tests. DP has taken my thermometer away.....

Next step is a scan to check where the baby is and that its not near or in my adhesions. I am supposed to have this at 6 weeks but may delay until 7. I really dont want to be left in any limbo like I was with MMC in the summer.

Commander - keeping everything crossed for you.

CommanderShepard · 19/01/2015 18:02

Still a bit when I wipe but just sort of staining - I think it's the remnants from the, ahem, walls.

Managed a whole sandwich at lunch! It came back to haunt me but I ate a whole sandwich!

Commander that's great and the sickness is a good sign. Fingers crossed for you.

happygojo · 19/01/2015 18:57

I had my booking appointment! Didn't get this far last time! I am also 10 wks. I haven't had a scan yet so can't say for sure but I am having a 'holy f#%k I am actually pregnant' moment. I think it is the bounty pack and info overload. today I am pregnant

Thepurplegiraffe · 19/01/2015 19:09

Sounds really positive Shepard, keeping my fingers crossed for your scan but it is looking good!

HannahB86 · 19/01/2015 19:23

May I join ladies? I'm currently about 8 weeks pregnant following a MC at 6 weeks in November. Obviously very happy to be pregnant again so quickly but also feeling very anxious especially as only seem to have mild symptoms (sore breasts although they have eased up, tired but not exhausted and so far no morning sickness and just the odd wave of nausea). Have my booking appointment with the midwife this Wednesday so hoping she can calm my nerves and hopefully refer me for an early scan!

Still lurking but trying to lay low until scan on Wednesday.

One quick question is there any problem with me holding off on my booking in appointment until 12 weeks? Been through it before and don't feel like I want to go through it all again until I'm a little more confident...

Hi sunbathing, this is just a 7 week scan - I am getting weekly scans at St Marys due to my history so all being well I'll just ask them to do my bloods when necessary. All I could remember from the last one was the free pack and discussions around my history so appreciate the info re the bloods!

Flumpy2012 · 19/01/2015 20:46

Hello all,

Welcome newbies.

I don't think it's an issue to delay booking unless you're high risk and need to go under consultant led care for any reason.

Hope everyone is ok. It's such an anxious wait for reassurance.

I keep panicking that my symptoms aren't as strong as yesterday. Then I wonder why my positive was so strong at 10dpo when my last positive at the same stage previously was only faint. Could I be further along? Anyone else had strong positive at 10dpo?
