Had Missed mc in April which was found out at scan so petrified about the scan next week. My Mum keeps saying it must be my age!!

Due date allegedly 1 Nov, but am sure will be late.

Size of a house and on maternity leave.

Skytv - I know just what you mean about scans. The first one I ever had was because I was miscarrying, and now I am always convinced - even with the one I had last week to see whether this one was breech or not - that they mean bad news. Good luck with it.

DD 1 or2 June ?? - I never know how to work it out exactly , are you supposed to say the dd is very day your last period was due 40 weeks ago, (my lmp was 3.09.06 and my cycle is 27 days) or is it the end of the 40th week,

Sorry I think my preg stats should read 6+6, not 7

..So that also means dd 3.06.07

Hi! Me nearly 36, have one ds 3, expecting #2 in January. Dh is nearly 35. I'd like another when I'm 38/39!

I am feeling really anxious. I know this is normal and to an extent to be expected. But I keep prodding my breasts to seee if they are still tender , have to fight the urge to do hundreds of pregnancy tests, am worried every time I go to the loo............AGGGGGGHHHHHHHH and Im probably only JUST 4 weeks pregnant . I am so NOT looking forward to the next 36 weeks.....mainly because my anxiety levels go through the roof. anyone got any ideas how to be calm? after all - what will happen will happen and I cant influence it either way.......

If it's any consolation, it did get better for me in the end - I think I started to feel more secure after the 20 week scan.

But having a distraction is also really good - although mine was quite spectacular, getting married at 25 weeks! It gave me something else to think about it - and to tell you the truth, one of the reasons we did choose to do it then was so that, if we had another miscarriage, we would still have something to look forward too. Don't know why we didn't just book a holiday, though, as I have the arms of a Russian shot putter in all of the photos...

And do also come and chat on the pregnancy after miscarrage thread as everyone there has been through or is going through the same worries, and there is a whole collection of bust-prodders and knicker-checkers there.

marymillington, am very envious of you just being the size of a bus. Can't believe I will ever be able to turn over properly in bed again!
