Essex that's what I thought but mine refuses to saying I have nothing to worry about and they feel for the baby position, which is quite accurate...
baby what was the indication or reason for your repeat scans. Guess she won't do it without good reason...
sorry you feel so terrible. From what I've heard, 200 bpm seems quite high. Will the hospital not take you in? Grab the first health professional and demand answers!
skinnny welcome. I had the flu jab and felt fine. No serious colds yet this winter. It has no downsides, as far as I'm aware.

longestlurkerever · 12/12/2014 20:44

skinny welcome. I thinknflu can be quite dangerous in pregnancy as there is a greater risk of complications when your immune system is compromised and some of those can lead to premature birth, so that is why they recommend the jab. I have had mine at my first antenatal appointment each time but since this was swiftly followed by mc twice i had to talk my brain out of making a connection between the two I looked it up and it is safe. I had it again this time and so far so good!

thesmallbear · 12/12/2014 20:49

I had the flu jab at about seven weeks and have had no problems.

Teeste · 12/12/2014 20:52

I had the jab at about 8 weeks, my GP gave it to me. Arm was sore for about 3 days but otherwise no probs. I've also managed not to get my DH's snotbomb cold (so far), so I think it's pretty good going!

tannyLoo · 12/12/2014 20:58

Hi skinny and welcome! I haven't had the flu jab, but not for any negative reason, I booked it and forgot to go, got embarrassed and haven't rebooked! I've only had flu a couple of times in my life, so am just crossing fingers that I hold out for the next 12 weeks!

Babytinx11 · 13/12/2014 11:50

Rushed back in last night contracting and in huge amounts of pain turns out I have a nasty infection in my kidney and leaky waters Hmm it's all a nightmare but get heartrate is normal again she is breech at the moment so they are hoping she moves soon before the fluid drops low on the plus side just over 11 weeks to go

catbus · 13/12/2014 11:58

Oh baby.you're having such a tough time. Are you still in hospital? Sending good vibes your way Flowers

longestlurkerever · 13/12/2014 15:40

Big hugs baby. Really hope it gets sorted once and for all.

How are you getting on cuppa? Also thinking of liesal

Skinnylegs33 · 13/12/2014 15:46

Right, I get it Wink I need to stop being paranoidBlush
It's just that my cousin recently slightly told me off for getting a hep a vaccine before going SE Asia. I am definitely not into conspiracy theories, it's just that it triggered something in my mind and made me question the flu jab. I understand now that it's safe. I need to man up, get over my needle phobia and have it done.
I remember with my previous pregnancy I was lurking around this forum and there was a scary thread but probably that was referring to a different vaccine.

Baby, really sorry You're back in hospital. At least they can monitor you and hopefully make it easier. Hope you will get better soon Flowers

catbus · 13/12/2014 15:53

skinny I think it's good to question things. Personally I have declined the jab. I'm not blasé about it by any means, only I'm not comfortable with it whilst pg. This is the first pg I have been offered it. And bizarrely my system seems to be very strong in.pregnancy- all the children and DH just had it and I managed to look after them all without catching it. Confused

liesal still thinking of you Smile

Still in looks like home tomorrow with stronger meds then see the urologist in clinic to discuss surgery on Tuesday so keeping everything crossed with a new plan and stronger meds this will be the last time I am in the hospital before she is born. Thank you everyone for being so supportive and lovely it means allot

broodylicious · 13/12/2014 19:17

Hi all. Just wondered if I can join you please? I'm 8+3 with dc2. Sick as a dog, don't fancy eating anything, bump (and therefore mat jeans) already. Mc on feb 27 at 12 weeks then pretty crappy 12 weeks of bleeding (until I had an mva) so know I've still got a looooong way to go but feeling positive about this bean. Fx!

tannyLoo · 13/12/2014 19:55

Broody! Lovely to see you here, and brilliant news! x

Skinnylegs33 · 13/12/2014 20:22

Welcome Broody and congrats! Smile we have a long way ahead but let's just hope it is our turn now to be happy!

With my first two pregnancies I did not dare to post anything on this forum even though I've read it back to back as I wanted to wait and see how things work out. They did not work out great sadly and now I just want to at least acknowledge I'm pregnant - talk about it, ask questions, look for and offer reassurance where possible and, you know... be pregnant. Because today I am!

Hello! Can I join? I found out this week that I'm pg with #2 after 10 long months of TTC. I had a miscarriage before DS and was on this thread then! I'm driving myself crazy already, thinking I'm having a mc! I had strong symptoms at 14dpo when I got my BFP but they have gone now! I just feel like I'm waiting to bleed HmmHmmHmm. It's going to be a long 12 weeks!

broodylicious · 14/12/2014 08:20

Hi tanny! How are you getting on? Was thinking of you the other day! Hope all is good with youSmile

Thanks for the welcome skinnySmile

Hello sunbathingSmile I have my booking in today! Mw is coming to my dust filled house that's being knocked all about for renovation! this afternoon. Quite excited as I remember at this point in my last pg (the one I mc), symptoms were definitely starting to wane as I told my old mw which she dismissed as "well it's probably a boy then" No let up of sickness or nausea or general aversion to eating anything nice! Can hardly even stomach water. I've had numerous premonitions or feelings that there may be two in here...Shock
