39 weeks today! Anyone want to join me in the last slog?

This is my second baby (DD has just turned 2) and I'm finding these last few weeks a real drag! I'm tired, my back hurts and I just want to get on with it.

Anyone else fancy a moan?

Am being induced at 815 on Monday morning if nothing happens over the weekend. They offered me a sweep yesterday but I declined on the basis that bumps second cousin has a birthday today and I dont want them to have to share! After today there is a clear week in the birthday calendar which is something of a rarity in my ILs! There's about 80 of us all in.

Thanks for your advice superbfairywren. I hope your issues have settled down now and you have a straight forward final week (fingers crossed). I'm seeing my MW tomorrow so will see how things go. I've been keeping myself busy so as not to think about it. Since starting mat leave my mind has far too much time to wander it would seem.

DD was dragged out of me against her will this morning. It was taking ages and no one could understand why. She was bavk to back. Poor munchkin has a redbulge on her head, but am sure its better than my perinium. I had to be properly cleaned out and stiched in surgery afterwards. Was treated very well by all the staff which was a big improvement on last time.
