Leander -- am sad you didn't get to stay the course with us. Somebody, might have been you, shared my due date and then m/c'd. Every time I have shared an online due date the other person lost the baby (to be honest, usually much later, or even shortly after birth). Sorry I think I'm a jinx...

Karen, I really think something is starting to happen for you, I hope it gets over soon!!

Hi Littlelamb, I wasn't sure if you were just Lazyeye renaming herself again!

I didn't grow any hair anywhere on me (I swear) all winter, I couldn't believe how hairless my legs became. And the last month I've sprouted. I must shave, at least the 'minnie'. I don't care about the legs!

MG: I only had small or tiny tears, previously. So if you didn't tear badly before, very unlikely to happen this time, I would have thought, unless the baby is very big or something unusual about the presentation.

You all seen my names thread? Is it Skara with the same problem?!

Gomez, where are you? You have the first due date!!

Do you get more tired as time gets closer, or just before something happens. I am absolutley exhausted but restless at the same time can't seem to sit still.i feel like i could sleep for a week. Infact think i will when DD goes to her dads .
I need to take her to her taekwondo class in a bit really can't be bothered to sit there. never mind atleast she enjoys it.

littlelamb · 26/05/2004 17:54

ok here are my predictions:
Soooo sure it's a boy, just going on instinct. Will be pretty lost if it turns out to be a girl
I'm due on 14 June, and I think I'll be early (or is that wish...)
As far as weight goes, I dread a whopping 10 pounder but in reality probably about 8lb 6oz
Last night I was giving bub his eviction notice, but now I've extended his lease by a week But any more than that and I will be having stern words!

kbaby · 26/05/2004 18:39

Hello all you June mums. I'll have to bug you lot now as i'm the only May mum left. Everyone else has had their babies and deserted me

Gomez · 26/05/2004 20:29

Hello All,
Trying to get my final essay finished before tomorrow so hence my silence. Not a lot happening to be honest - except for Percy the Pile putting in an appearance And the bloody sore throat I have developed over the past day or so.

Got my nappies delivered yesterday and washed them all today - felt really weird hanging them all out but looked so cool!

Hello kbaby - when is/was your due date? And welcome - you must be so frustrated and of course we are all just starting the process so must a bit like Groundhog Day for you?

Can't comment on the tearing thingy but I am paranoid that I am goin to stay at home thinking I am being so brave, eventually go to Hospital and be told that I am about 1/2 cm dilated and to go home!!!!!!!!!!!! By this time first time around knew was having a c-section (in fact would have had it today at 39 weeks) so was very blase about the whole thing.

Right final sprint on that damm Uni work and then I am free...............

Take care all.

karen01 · 26/05/2004 21:18

kbaby- wecome, I am sure you won't be to much longer you were due a couple of days ago weren't you.

littlelamb · 26/05/2004 21:19

Hi Gomez
It's nice to know someone else is at uni and dealing with all the madness that goes with it! One presentation and one essay left Hard to get motivated though..
Have to say, my uni has been terrible with helping me out. I'm 37 weeks and still living in my crappy fourth floor student accomodation. At least until Friday Have been walking around with a huge grin all day! Its walking around campus that really gets me though. People say stupid things to pg women anyway, but the kind of looks you get as a pg student just take the p*ss. I got on the bus the other day but didn't have my uni card and the driver just said, 'pull the other one' when I asked for a student ticket, all the while looking at the bump rather than me. What a lovely guy...

Hello ladies - how are you all today?

Poor you kbaby - when were you due and have you an induction date booked yet (not that I'm feeling pessimistic for you, honest!)

Cavy - I did see you names thread - has dh changed his mind yet? TBH my dh wants a name which is very traditional in his family but I really really don't like it but I'm having real problems coming up with one we can both agree on. I'm just waiting for some divine inspiration.

Has everyone else chosen names yet then?

Saw my mw today. Everything is fine, although she did not test my urine as usual, so I hope everything is ok (!). Baby has moved down again and is now 3/5 so he is heading in the right direction.

But my friend who is going to look after dd whilst I'm in labour has sent me into a bit of a blind panic today. Her hubby has decided they are going away for the weekend before my due date. I have no relatives near by (well mum and dad not too far away but they are very elderly and can't drive in the dark anyway), certain friends not around and ....arrrgh - don't know what to do. Any ideas??

Well Secur get it sorted then... What about starting it on 1st June and it can be our final countdown thread???

Still trying to finish this bloody essay so back later.

Cheers

monkeygirl · 27/05/2004 12:50

Agree - new thread, so why not do the honours Secur?

1st June seems ages away so don't mind if you start it earlier...it might inspire someone to 'go'! But whatever you want...
