OneLittleToddleTerror · 23/06/2014 14:46

liesal no advice other than take it one day at a time. Good luck with your scan today. I think tearex is also having her 12 week scan today isn't it?

longest if it's any consolation, 3yo DD and I drank dodgy milk a couple of weeks ago. I thought that it tasted off but blamed the new cereal being a bit funky. DD ate her weetabix too, but complained her cup of milk 'hurts her'. I didn't think anything of it. Then an hour later she asked for milk and again complained about it hurting her tongue. It's only then I tasted the milk and found it's off. I was so worried, but neither of us got sick.

ihave I'm so so sorry for you. Hopefully the RMC consultants can give you some help Sad

longestlurkerever · 23/06/2014 15:04

I have to I am so sorry to hear this dreadful news. I hope you have lots of RL support and get some answers from the RMC in due course. Take care of yourself.

Cakebaker35 · 23/06/2014 15:33

ihave I'm so very sorry to hear your news. Hope you get lots of love and support in rl and best wishes for the future, I hope you get some answers Flowers x

postitnotes · 23/06/2014 15:58

ihave so sorry about your loss. Feeling numb is completely understandable. Make sure you take the time to grieve and take care of yourself and your feelings as much as you can. Xxx

TeaRex · 23/06/2014 17:17

Ihave I'm so sorry to hear your news, can't imagine how you're feeling but I hope at least you're able to get some answers from the RMC x

I've had my scan and the baby is still hanging in there, growing well, the bloods still there as well unfortunately but they seemed much more positive that as the baby's survived to this point it should be okay. I've a follow up scan at 16 weeks where hopefully it will show my body starting to absorbed the blood as the growing baby and sack pushes it out of the way. I'm feeling a bit more positive now (though I realise this feeling will probably have gone by tomorrow :) ) my official edd is now jan 2nd and I think we'll be telling people this weekend, I'm too fat to hide it much longer anyhow :/ liesal hope your scan went okay?

squizita · 23/06/2014 17:48

Ihave So sorry to hear that. :( I do hope they see you quickly at the RMC and you get either something treatable or nothing wrong.

Tea Good to hear your baby's still OK and they think it is overcoming the blood issue. :)

Longest I had some off milk and nothing came of it. I think dairy often just comes back up again if it's off rather than triggering anything longer lasting - after all various things like cheese etc' are old milk in a way.

My scan showed an average sized baby with an average amount of fluid in an average size sac with an average placenta. :) :) Phew. The lady said "to be honest, that's a very typical baby you have there". Panic over for about a day.
Got preggers yoga later. Much of which is like veeeery slow twerking.

Was down in the ocean lookin' for fish (for fish slappin') and I found the calm down manatee.
They should have an app for this on the NHS calmingmanatee.com/5

maddyw1988 · 23/06/2014 21:28

Hi ladies!

Jumping on board here, 2 MMCs back in 2011 and now currently 6+5! 2 scans already at 5 weeks and in tomorrow to check the pg is progressing. I must say everything feels different this time, more nausea more stretching pains and utterly exhausted!
the odd thing is that the scan tomorrow will be 3 years to the day since my first 6 week scan! Edds are just 3 days apart! I'm hoping this is a good omen!

xx

squizita · 23/06/2014 22:02

Welcome Maddy and best of luck with your scan!

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 23/06/2014 22:20

Oh no, sorry to hear your news ihave :(
Hope you get some answers from the RMC and the right support to get you back on here with a healthy pregnancy ASAP. Take care xx

tea glad to hear everything is progressing and they don't think the blood is an issue any more. Sounds like you have a right little trouper in there, a tough one in for the duration [ grin]

squiz funny how "average" is such a great thing to hear! Surely this is one of the few instances in life that it's good to have it all average!!

postitnotes · 24/06/2014 00:28

Hi maddy I'm 6+5 too and also having a scan tomorrow. Had some bad cramping last week and v anxious - hence the late hour, I can't sleep! You're symptoms all sound good, hope all goes well for you tomorrow.

TeaRex · 24/06/2014 07:24

maddy welcome and good luck for today, postit best of luck as well, hope both your scans go well x

amicablemoomin · 24/06/2014 07:25

maddyw1988 · 24/06/2014 07:53

Good luck postit, I was up late too worrying and had killer restless leg syndrome!! what time is your scan?

xx

mimsdog · 24/06/2014 08:01

Hi, New to the forum. Was trawling through the trying to conceive when you already have a baby thread but luckily I have got that lovely positive line on the test. Now nervous as hell. Had MC in OCtober last year and been trying to get pregnant ever since. Only 3 weeks so far……..afraid to get too excited..Did you guys get an early 'reassurance' scan? They said when I was in hospital (i had to have a surgical evacuation of products after MC) that they would give me one if and when I got pregnant again….

blankfornames · 24/06/2014 08:30

Ihaveto, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are getting lots of support from RL. I hope the RMC provides you with answers you're looking for. Flowers

Maddy and Postit, best of luck with your scans! Keep us informed!

Mimsdog, I'm 5.5 today with #1 but waiting till 7.5 till my first scan as I want to make sure that I give it enough time for the heart to kick into action. It is nerve nerve wrecking though as I mc at 6 weeks in April. I've never been more aware in my life of what's going on in my belly!! I feel like my jeans are getting too tight, but I know it's way too early for that!

Here's to lots of uneventful pregnancies y'all!
