Feeling kind of rubbishy today. Been getting a bit anxious last few days that something will go wrong and been feeling fretful over nothing specific.
Probably f hormones or something, but just teary and emotional today, feel ready to cry any minute. Did have a good cry on OH this morning, but its not really made me feel any better.
I just want this baby out safely (making myself cry just typing this ahh!).
I know then next level of anxiety and worry will start then, but I just need this next bit to be over soon. I felt so 'ready' a couple of weeks ago, now I am just a mess.
No signs of anything happening yet
Trying to keep busy/occupied and not wallow but its hard.

I am coming to the conclusion that knowing you're going to have a baby soon must be really weird whether you know the date like qaz or are left in limbo....

Foody oh no, I'm sorry you feel so anxious. It's so hard to maintain any level of normality right now, it's no wonder you've lost it. I'm on the verge all the time. Try and focus on the fact that the odds are overwhelmingly in favour of the baby being totally fine

Foody I can really relate, I found it all got very real very quickly at the end and I certainly had birth nerves for a while. My chiro helped me feel more positive so maybe revisit some positive birth stories (some good ones in Ina May's guide to childbirth) and I also listened to something called calm childbirth on my phone (Samantha Redgrave Hogg) x

My cousin had her baby yesterday, so chuffed for her. Feels odd saying that considering when I found out in December she was pg I had a meltdown!

Hello bunny and berries!! I can keep you company but am straddling the two threads if you don't mind!! Hopefully our 3- in- waiting will make a hat trick of berries to come!!

Bit scary reading about you berries who are about to pop, feel very new to this and almost a bit reluctant/scared/in denial about getting too excited because of our shaky start. Also know I can let things get to me and become a bit of a stress head so trying to keep level headed about it!! Did you ladies wait til your 12 week scan to find out when you were due or do one of these online due date calculators? As we IVF-ed I'm not sure those would work or am I talking rubbish?? We know it'll prob be February as that's 8 mths from here. I'm almost a bit scared to bother with it. Are many of you ladies IVF-ers? I think I'm right saying bunny is.

bushy I'm not nearly popping so glad to have a few more (fingers crossed) joining us to share worries, we've all been there and my advice would just be one day at a time!

Yay, glad to see that baby bushy was just hiding (like qazlet)! Don't worry about dates being a bit out at this stage the difference/ what they are measuring is still very small. They will give you a better idea at your 12 week scan as to due dates.
I never thought I would get to this stage, but here I am even though I am still waiting/ paranoid that something will go wrong. Take it one day at a time and try not to stress (which is a lot easier said than done).

So glad all is well Bushy, delighted to have you aboard the chopper. I am still a while from actually popping (12 weeks is a while, yes?) though it has whizzed past! Feel free to ask/share anything you want - Bunny, Sid and I will enjoy being wise veterans

As for me, this bump started as a natural bfp just as we were about to go back to clinic for IVF (2 yrs unexplained IF prior to that) - they convinced us to keep trying for a few more months after hycosy and, to my vast disbelief, it worked!

Bushy welcome in. Everybody feels weird at first but you will have lots of questions/concerns and we have all been there and would love to help/support you
Any of the online calculators will work for you; treat egg collection as your ovulation date and egg collection - 14 days as your lmp (first day of last period). You will get a 'proper' date at your 12 week scan though as there is some variance in conception/implantation timelines

Arr, thank you ladies, you are a lovely lot and I feel very welcomed. Got a bit of a stinker of a headache tonight which I've been trying to ignore so will reply properly tomorrow, hopefully sleep will get rid of it. Know I can take paracetamol but trying to avoid unless really need it. Night lovely berries.

Its probably dehydration as its so hot, drinks heaps, I found I needed to drink more when preggo to keep the dehydration headaches at bay. Hope you feel better today!!

I did drink loads of water yesterday but this hot weather prob not helping. It's better but interesting to know cleo. Will make sure I'm properly hydrated!!
