ooh merk glad your there! been timing, gettin them roughly every 13-15 mins for between 40ish secs and a minute.

been having period cramps on and off for ages. These r sharp pains that build up, an actual pain rather than a cramp!

im really hoping this means he is on the way!!!

its chucking it down as it happens! still Cosy in bed trying not to wake OH!

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/06/2014 07:54

Great news puppy, sounds as though this could be it. Remember to try and stay out of the bath for a while as that can slow things down. Be prepared that your waters might go like crazy and you will need lots of spare towels (and if they go they don't stop going either!). Have you a tens? Paracetamol can help with the early stages.

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 07:58

its like Christmas! Grin

come on baby! keep going!

am starving so getting up for some breakfast!

will be no baths, we hav a stupid massive corner bath that takes 100 yrs to fill! and you can't lie in it properly!

no tens machine, just me and my ball!! Wink

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/06/2014 07:59

Is your bag packed?
I'm v excited for you
I found foot stamping a brilliant distraction through contractions

DartmoorDoughnut · 04/06/2014 08:05

I have a mental image of trying to eat breakfast whilst bouncing on a ball Grin

This is possibly the most exciting thing ever!

MotherOfCleo · 04/06/2014 08:05

Yay, go little pup Grin Grin I'm also very excited that this is a blue one

Sounds like everything is progressing nicely! Everything crossed for you! Heres to a sneeze birth in the birthing pool! Wink Thanks

jessplussomeonenew · 04/06/2014 08:09

Go Puppy! Really hope this is it and all goes swimmingly.

Bunnygirlie · 04/06/2014 08:16

Come on baby puppy!!!! Hopefully by the time I check back in after work baby will be here Grin

bushy I've never done any yoga before so it was a little odd. Nice to do some stretching though and a girl who had her baby came back to tell her story, funnily enough she turned out to be a schoolmate, so it was nice to hear her experiences and she said the visualisation helped.

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 08:21

yes bag all packed, carseat in car, all we need now is the baby!
contractions gone off a bit now. Nooooooo! gettin on the ball!

ooh its ok, live contraction as we speak!

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 08:30

Foodylicious · 04/06/2014 08:49

Ooooh puppy, hope you doing ok!

Eeeek!

hope its my turn soon.
Take it easy out there in the wet, you are very brave!

also i have heard it's good to wear sunglasses if you do go out at this stage as oxytosin does not like bright lights!

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/06/2014 09:06

Yep puppy try to stay v relaxed, don't worry if they seem to come and go a bit, that can be normal as baby changes position too. So exciting

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 09:07

foody currently on my ball, contractions gone off a bit now Confused

hoping a walk later will get things going again. im feeling very impatient!

MotherOfCleo · 04/06/2014 10:57

puppy mine were always worst at night, fingers crosses they ramp up a bit for you soon!!

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 11:58

every 20 mins or so at mo. with a lot of cramping inbetween the surges!

been to the shops, back on my ball hoping weather will brighten up a bit so I can take dog out later.

exciting times but wish it would hurry up a bit!! Smile

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/06/2014 12:03

Well done puppy, keep it up. The contractions are doing their job and faster isn't always better. Don't forget to keep eating to keep your strength up, and have a sleep if you can...there's a likelihood you might not make it to bed tonight!
(Have refreshed this page about a thousand times in the last hour btw!)

Tallyra · 04/06/2014 14:12

Omg puppy, go go go!!! Living vicariously through you as I never had any labour at all. Your descriptions are brilliant. GrinGrinGrin

Tallyra · 04/06/2014 14:12

Oh, Jess, was it you that wanted the tens machine? Pm me your address and I'll get it in the post xxx

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 14:18

Foodylicious · 04/06/2014 14:22

Sooooooooooooooo excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PuppyMummy · 04/06/2014 16:50
