Hi everyone.
Great news mrsG. for what it's worth, if you do end up having a 2nd CS, it's not that bad. I had a 22 month old when I had my 2nd CS and recovery really wasn't that tough and was able to do most things with him as normal. It didn't affect things badly at all. That said, of course VBAC always preferable if you can.
I think it's a bit late there in UK now and you've probably all gone to bed - but just to say - HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF - my scan was great! After horrible few hours feeling v anxious and taking it all out on DH and DCs, saw baby - moving around a lot. Heartbeat great. All limbs in place! Even seemed to wave. nuchal fold results good too (1.3cm) - and nasal bone in sight - so all looking great and I'm just so, so, so relieved!
Thank you ALL for messages of luck and support - really helped this morning.
Can't wait to start telling people now. And also to let the kids start to think about the fact they might have a younger sibling in 6 months.
Feels like a big milestone. But, god, don't think I'll ever look at an ultrasound screen the same way after MCs. Sonographer was lovely though - and let me hear the heartbeat too.
Thanks guys! Good luck tomorrow squiz
